Family Holiday

The property was a good size and in a nice area. The pool and garden are great and even in late October the whole family enjoyed the pool. The beds were comfortable. We did have some big storms and issues with leaks in the bedroom and bathroom.

The villa is in a great location with easy access to the old town, port and amenities.The space at the back of the villa is lovely, but there was only 4 sun-beds, which was not a massive issue for us as there was only 4 adults. More would be appropriate for a 4 bed villa.The outside dining chairs were a little uncomfortable and maybe could be updated.There were no beach towels so you will need your own and also some of the kitchen utensils could do with replacing.We had a couple of issues while we were there but the owner was extremely helpful in sorting the problems quickly.Overall we had a lovely time at the villa although a lack of air conditioning may be more of an issue in the height of summer.

A lovely home, spotlessly clean and a wonderful setting

We had a lovely holiday, the villa was spotlessly clean. The outside space was really good. The bedrooms were equipped with fans which kept us cool at night. The swimming pool sat beside a beautiful orchard and overall it was a great holiday, Cati was excellent in her communication before and during our holiday. I will definitely rebook for our next holiday. The location requires a car, however old town is walkable and the taxi service is great. I would recommend highly and really great for families. The area is lovely, great restaurants and lots to see and do. The only issue for us was the water pressure for a shower but we managed fine.

Peaceful and relaxing

The property is set in a rural area though not too far from the nearest resort, it is a quiet and a relaxing setting and a car is a must, the supermarket we used was a five or so minutes drive away and the nearest resorts just a few minutes drive too. We loved the villa and the gardens and the large pool which was regularly maintained, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and the barbeque was well used, apart from the lack of a/c though every bedroom had a large fan the place is great. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for this villa will not disappoint. 4.5/5

Lovely house and great pool, in beautiful surroundings

We loved our few days at this property. The pool is great, and the garden is beautiful and big! The house had everything we needed (maybe a pool net for cleaning the pool would be a handy addition) and we would definitely go back. We had a car and travelled around the area a bit - Pollenca town and Port de Pollença were both lovely in their different ways. The Sunday morning market in Pollença was amazing and we picked up a few locally made bargains! We are a family with older teens, and for us it was an ideal property. Cati was great at communicating with us throughout the reservation process and after, and the 12 noon checkout on the last day was really handy as we had a late flight home. In summary, it’s great!

Good outdoors house not much inside

The property was clean and nice, kitchen new., rooms and baths were ok, but not AC, if you carch a hot week you will sweat all night long. The best part is the garden and the pool. The villa is isolated and we suffer for that has one day we didnt have water and was not a nice experience… The bbq is also very good but there are not tools to work and it is a real mess when you want to use with a fork of the kitchen…taking in account that in the kitchen the cutlery is counted, so if you fill up the house be ready to wash minimum twice per day. Location is good and very quite with no disturbance at nights.

Family break

We stayed for a week at Easter when the weather was mild (19oC). The house itself was clean, kitchen is very modern, plenty of space inside and out. The house was a little chilly in the evening, but I guess that’s because it was early April. Location is quiet, on the outskirts of Pollenca, easy access to surrounding areas but you would need a car. The pool is a great size and also quite deep, so not ideal for very young children. My youngest is 1.1m and was too deep for him to stand. Older children loved it. There was outdoor cooking/bbq facilities available, we didn’t use these. Overall lovely holiday home on a beautiful part of the island.

Nice property with potential for improvement

The villa is very nice and quiet. You feel right at home. Everything you need is there and you can spend wonderful days and evenings there. Getting there: Unfortunately you can only get to the villa using the coordinates, all other information leads to nearby but different places. Cleanliness: At the beginning everything was clean. Unfortunately, the towels were only changed once a week (2x according to the advertisement), the bed linen was not changed at all (1x according to the advertisement). Unfortunately we didn't like that. Comfort: Mosquito nets and air conditioning would be appropriate. Despite mosquito repellent, our baby was completely bitten during the night.

Thank you for your suggestions, we will definitely take into account the installation of the mosquito nets. I'm sorry that there was confusion regarding changing sheets and towels, but the cleaning company usually only changes the sheets if the stay is longer than 7 days, and the and the towels for a 7-day stay only once. In any case, we appreciate your comments and they will undoubtedly help us improve.

Casa con piscina cerca de Pollensa

Hemos estado muy a gusto en la casa. Necesitas coche para todo. La entrada es a traves de una caja con un codigo, nos hubiera gustado haber conocido a la dueña. De vez en cuando olía como a fosa séptica, y no sabeos la razòn. Se atascò el baño sin haber hecho nada y tuvimos que utilizar el otro. La piscina una gozada, fué lo mejor de la casa. La parrilla también. Muhas hormigas en la cocina y mosquitos a la noche.

Perfect situation for us.

We have stayed at Can Verga before and really enjoyed it again this year. We were 2 families of 4 each and it was perfect for us. The standout feature is the large pool which the kids spent nearly every waking hour in. Well located and highly recommended. Thanks Cati

Excellent. Good location, near the city.

We spend a very good week in this house. Very nice and very clean. The owners received us very well, very agreeable and very attentive. The house location is very good, near the beachs and near the city. The Pollença area is perfect for adventure tourism such as kayaking, trekking, mountain biking.

Le logement etait bien adapté pour une famille de 7 personnes. La grande piscine est un véritable atout pour se rafraichir et le preau est idéal pour prendre ses repas à l abri du soleil. Le jardin est tres agreable avec la possibilite de manger des oranges et citrons. L endroit est bien situe au calme à proximité de Pollenca et des plages. Il n y avait pas de climatisation mais des ventilateurs pour chaque chambre et pour la pièce principale. Les serviettes de bain ont ete changées en milieu de semaine. Quelques points d amélioration si c est possible : une localisation plus précise pour éviter de chercher le logement, changer les chaises en bois extérieures qui n étaient pas tres confortables et prevoir qques produits de premiere necessite comme poivre, sel, huile, produit lave vaisselle, lessive, produits douche. Sinon tout etait parfait pour passer d excellentes vacances

Yoga-Retreat

Zunächst war das Haus etwas schwer zu finden. Die Koordinaten für das Navi haben uns nicht zum Haus geführt. Wir haben dann mit der Vermieterin telefoniert.In der Beschreibung sollte der Name Can Vela stehen und nicht nur Villa für Familien . Die Bezeichnung für das Haus ist auf einem kleinen Schild am Straßenrand das man kaum sieht. Das Haus ist sehr schön, einfach eingerichtet, aer für uns war es passend. die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit Geräten. Es dürfte allerdings etwas mehr Geschirr da sein. Wir waren 7 Personen. Die Betten sind gut. Die Bäder, in die Jahre gekommen und sehr einfach.aber ausreichend. Die dritte Dusche haben wir erst nach Tagen im Außenbereich gefunden, da wir ohne Einweisung ins Haus eingezogen sind. Der Schlüssel war in einem Kästchen vor dem Haus abholbar . Hin und wieder gab es keinen Strom und die Toilettenspülung in einer Toilette ging immer wieder nicht. Da half das Spülen mit dem Brauseschlauch von der Badewanne. Der Pool ist super schön und der Garten ebenso. Die ganze Umgebung sehr ruhig und unser Yoga-Platz hätte nicht schöner sein können. Ich würde das Haus nicht als Villa bezeichnen. Es ist eine typische mallorquiner Finca und man sieht, dass sie als dieses auch ehemals genutzt wurde. Die Bäume im Garten mit Feigen und Granatäpfeln lassen ein Gefühl vom Paradies aufkommen. Für mich und die Yoga-Gruppe war es ein sehr schöner Platz. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto, da die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Strand zu weit sind.

Der Pool war das Beste!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Kinder waren stundenlang im Pool, auch die Erwachsenen haben ihn genossen. Die Lage des Hauses ist wunderbar. In 5‘ ist man in Pollença, in 10 Minuten am Meer. Je nach Nachbarn hinter dem Garten (Luftlinie 200m) ist es extrem ruhig. Jeden Morgen haben wir mit frischen Orangen aus dem Garten Orangensaft gemacht. Das W-lan ist ist da, aber nicht wirklich nutzbar, da viel zu langsam.

Preciosa y tranquila casa

Hemos estado cinco días dos familias con niños.La casa es preciosa y tiene lo justo para disfrutar de las vacaciones.Piscina con el porche y cocina bien equipada.A las afueras del pueblo, da gusto escuchar sólo pajaritos, pero con supermercados grandes a 10 min en coche.Hemos estado genial.Cocina bien equipada
