Come enjoy this water front property, located on a canal . In the bayside of Galveston. Sit and relax on the deck area , listening to some tunes while crabbing and fishing ... A Bar area is also a big highlight on the property. Can fish and crab right off the deck! The house sleeps up to 6 guests. 2 bedrooms with queen beds upstairs and a pull out couch. . Galveston beach is a 10-15 minute drive from this property. You have Pleasure Pier and the Strand also in Galveston area with shopping , dining and rides for the kids. Kemah Boardwalk is about 30 min with shopping rides for the kids family fun . Space Center NASA about a 30 min drive also . The house is on a septic system. No toiletries can be flushed... No parties allowed

The location of this property was great! It has great potential but was disappointed that we could not use the 2 bedrooms downstairs (no connection to house) due to the unfinished basement feel (all concrete). Water was covering the floor to were the bedspread was soaked and bugs all over. It did work out ok for our party of 9 because there was a pull out couch upstairs and many blankets to make floor pallets. House is also on septic so we were not allowed to flush toilet paper, causing a stinky bathroom. Probably would not return unless we had less people.

Bay cation

The place was big and very roomy and close to the store and being able to bring our baby furr is so much fun just like we’re back home and having the whole family having a good time and sharing moments and pictures moments is much needed thank you for sharing your place :)

Wonderful Weekend

This was our second year to stay at this property. We really enjoy the quiet area and the scenic views. There is a great yard for the dogs to run around in. We took jet skis and were able to tie them to the dock for the weekend so we didn’t have to get them in and out of the water. The house was super clean and the beds and couch are comfortable. The kitchen is just the right size to fix meals for a group. We will definitely be back next year for a third time!

Location was perfect. Approx 10 mins from Galveston, lots of space

Rental process and response time was excellent. All questions were answered in a timely manner very professional and helpful

The stay was okay. The cleanliness of the bathroom, mats and toilet were not so good.

It would have been nice to know ahead of time that we could not flush anything in toilets. The insides of the kitchen cabinets were kind of dirty. Just my opinion, I'm a neat freak !

Perfect for our needs.

This house was 3 miles from our job site and provided a great place for my co-workers and myself to unwind after a long day. I would book again if needed!

2 bed rooms are in bad shape. Space heaters that blew breaker most of trip. Up stairs really nice..

Down Stairs bed rooms need updating espoused wires and need better A/C and Heat. There is no Internet witch is my fault for not noticing it did not claim to have internet on the listing I just assumed. The property is wright on the water you could pull a small boat in to dock. Down stairs did almost flood at high tide so be cautious about what you leave on the ground down stairs. I think Nice weather so you are not relying on a/c and heat down stairs and a little updates to down stairs bed rooms and this would be a great place to stay with the family or any other group. As you can probably tell from my review I was not expecting run down bed rooms down stairs and space heaters for heat. Besides that the rest of the place was great.

We didn't stay there

I received an anonymous msg the day we were to check-in telling me that they knew where I would be and how long I would be there. We did not feel safe staying there.

We had the best weekend. The house was clean and spacious and we loved the quiet. We caught carb and my son went fishing. I have no complaints. We will definitely be back.

Good fishing

We enjoyed the downstairs a lot! We spent most of our time there. We would love to stay again. Our only concern was the couch was extremely uncomfortable and hopefully she will update that soon.

Great host, great stay.

So nice to stay here! Jillena is so helpful and friendly to talk to. I highly recommend the stay. The bar area and huge decks are a very nice place to spend your evenings with your favorite beverage.

The Bayhouse is tucked away on a quiet street, right on the water! Has a bar downstairs where you can relax, unwind and listen to some tunes! You will have a good ole time!the house has a Septic System: no toiletries or paper allowed to be flushed .
Must be 25 or older , no big parties !

It is a water front property, swim at your own risk. There is oyster reef and rocks at bottom of the canal! There is a Bbq grill located on the property can fish and crab off the deck!
