Overnight

We needed an overnight for my husband to do a quick job. The property was perfect, very cute and welcoming. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

Overnight for a wedding

My wife and I spent an overnight here just to attend a wedding on MV. The hosts were great and the property was perfect for our needs. Hopefully, we can go back at some point over the summer with the kids. Thank you both!

Cozy Thanksgiving Escape

Our thanksgiving was a sweet escape at the Cottage in Oak Bluffs. Lew and Faith were so helpful and proactive in communication right from the start, and gentle and kind to our young son. The tips and reminders made our visit to the island a success. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed to make a homemade holiday meal. The hot tub was a treat and our hosts ensured we had creature comforts available with plenty of extra blankets, towels, books, games, tea/coffee, and snacks. Outings were facilitated by local maps, restaurant menus/guides, and a location that made walking to Oak Bluffs hotspots so easy! We truly hope to come back, this was a wonderful experience.

Spontaneous overnight getaway

We happened upon this lovely cottage when we planned a last minute off-season getaway, having never visited MV before! The accommodations were perfect for what we were looking for! The hosts were so helpful and flexible, the cottage was charming, and we had use of the hot tub as well, which was also awesome after a day hiking and sightseeing! Would definitely return... Lots of extras and added comfort from the hosts, adding to our excellent experience on the island- thank you so much!

Great place for a Oak Bluffs getaway

Faith and Lew have the perfect place for a relaxing stay in OB. The location was in walking distance to the shops and dining on circuit and the historic Camp Ground neighborhood. The kitchen was stocked with all cookware we needed for our family. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the mornings. Overall the property is a great for having a quiet place to unwind and works for traveling with kids.

Cozy with lots of character!

Stayed here for a couple days with my elderly parents and they were completely charmed by this cottage, inside and out. Great landscaping and adorable japanese style teahouse for enclosed hot tub. Not a big space but cozy and comfortable. Great location - very walkable to Oak Bluffs marina and downtown area. Owners are very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place!! Location, comfort, privacy, hot tub, extras

My grown sons and I stayed and had a great time despite the wet weather. Lew and Faith stocked fridge with breakfast and coffee, the place was spotless and cozy, and the hot tub was awesome. We loved the decor and books. A complete guide with restaurant menus and activities was supplied. Walking distance to everything in Oak Bluffs. Thank you!

Cute and Cozy

My husband and I had such a wonderful time in Martha’s Vineyard - and Faith and Lew’s cottage was the perfect spot to stay! It was so cute and cozy and the hot tub located outside in the ‘Japanese Tea House’ was such a treat! The cottage is surrounded with greenery and I can only imagine how beautiful it looks in the spring & summer! Faith and Lew were wonderful hosts. They met us as soon as we arrived and then - at our request - came to chat with us again the following morning to answer some questions we had about the area. The cottage was stocked with everything a person could need, but some of my favourite things were the array of teas, the large mugs, and the radio in the kitchen. It also had the coolest flatware I’ve ever seen! This cottage comes highly recommended by the Gouldings!

Beautiful New England Coastal Cottage

All the i’s are dotted and t’s crossed in this thoughtfully decorated, quaint New England coastal cottage. Faith and Lee are exceptional hosts, with great communication. From flashlights on the night stands to the beautifully accented living area, the cottage really gives you a colonial New England feel. Lots of transportation options on the island and this property is close to lots of resources. A great stay

Lee and Faith are amazing! Lee picked my wife and I up from the ferry and gave us a short tour before check-in. Very comfortable, clean, and the hot tub is quiet and relaxing! We’ll be back

Wonderful Place Close to Everything

It was a wonderful cottage near all the bars and restaurants in Oak Bluffs. It was nice to be close and yet still be in a quiet neighborhood and be able to rest peacefully. Lots of amenities that we were just too tired to use after biking the island all day. Great & accommodating hosts, would stay here again!

Family vacation

Wonderful getaway!

Our hosts were welcoming and gracious. Handsome Jameson approved of us as well. Our cottage was cozy, the breakfast goodies, coffee,teas; extras provided were thoughtful.. the hot tub; delightful. Our weather was cool, rainy, but the hot tub, warm gas stove , and warm, comfortable bed made our stay pleasant; in spite of weather. Would love to visit when gardens are in bloom.. Faith and Lew are most thoughtful❣️

Romantic getaway in a cozy cabin

I don't know where to begin to explain my stay at the cottage. They were so welcoming and made the check-in process so easy. It felt very private and safe. The house was so comfortable with so much attention to detail. We went for Valentine's Day and they even blessed us with bottles of wine. The hot tub area was clean and they were very accommodating to our needs. We cannot wait to go back next time. If you're looking for something different than a hotel feel I would definitely check this place out. Being off season Martha's Vineyard was quiet and we caught a beautiful sunset.

Awesome MV Het away

Me and 2 friends from Florida stayed in this lovely cottage! Everything was so nice and clean! Even breakfast goodies where left out for us! We loved the cranberry nut bread! Thanks so much to Lew and Faith!
