A comfortable, quiet home. Beautiful beach within a very short walk. Little ambient light allowed for starry nights. Per friendly with a few supplies in case you forgot something for your four legged friend. The host responded in a matter of minutes. Nice deck space with grill. Second floor decks were a nice place to enjoy the early morning sun over the water.

This property is in a great location for families. We made good use of the beach nearby as well as other Aquinnah beaches. Be aware it is another 60/house to park one car at the fabulous Philbin beach ( We think the best on the island) and can not get car pass until Monday. Kitchen was well stocked. Lovely breeze helped in the hot weather.

We stayed with our 3 adult children and partners and had a blast! Great house, great location - a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle “up island.” House is well stocked - beach chairs, towels, bikes, kayak - no need to haul all your own stuff. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful home!

Our family of four stayed at this home for the Memorial Day weekend. Very easy to find and a beautiful location. The views were amazing especially the sunrise! The beds were very comfortable and the home is well stocked with any essentials you may need during your stay. Amy was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Overall perfect stay and we would highly recommend!

Wonderful

Everything about this house and property was amazing. The views and beach were spectacular! Loved being in a more remote area where it was quiet and one could relax and take in the ocean breeze and sunset. Highly recommended!!

Comfy cottage with ocean view

Every part of this spacious house was well decorated and designed for comfort. The house was steps away from a beautiful beach and in a quiet secluded area. It was stocked with everything you’d need for a perfect vacation.

Amazing

We had an amazing Christmas in Aquinnah. Many thanks to Amy for being a gracious host. The location, the house, and all the nice touches for the guests - both humans and canines - were great. Highly recommend for family getaways.

Family reunion

We stayed in Aquinnah for the proximity to my cousins house for a family reunion. The spot proved to be perfect with a beautiful home, gorgeous beach, and responsive owners who answered several questions during our stay. We look forward to rebooking next year!

Aquinnah Gem!

This is a wonderful house in a secluded and private Aquinnah location. We loved watching the sunrise and listening to the waves. The house has everything you need to stay with family or friends and cook and have fun.

Christmas at Aquinna.

Spacious property. Walks on the beach. Puzzles and Board games. Visits to Vineyard Haven, Edgartown and Children’s Lighthouse. Already planning to return someday.

Lovely Stay in Aquinnah

We are happy to be able to give the owner the first review on their wonderful home. We went with another family and we all had a terrific stay. We enjoyed dinners at the amazing dining room table, peaceful walks on the quiet beach and evening fires in the fireplace. We look forward to visiting Martha's Vineyard again! Amy is a very casual, communicative, and helpful owner... a true pleasure to rent from!Her home is in mint condition and, for me, best of all, is her interior design, creativity and taste that is apparent throughout. ...especially her taste in contemporary and vintage folk art!!! Every surface of the house house has sculptures, paintings, illustrations, mobiles and handcrafted rugs. I felt I was staying in a virtual reality 'cover story' home featured in Architectural Digest. Yet in all of its design and decorative perfection, the house was as comfortable and homey as the old, well broken-in, rustic salt box cottages I have always loved and rented in Aquinnah.That was due to Amy's down to earth friendly personality. I felt that in the conversations I'd had with her prior and during our stay. Oh, Amy is also a 'pet friendly' owner to boot, imagine that...-Vincent(btw, VRBO alerted me, as I was writing this review, that the owner had posted an 'Owner'e Review of Tenants', which I haven't read yet. I'm a bit anxious to now read it! My fingers are crossed that we received a 5 star rating, too. Wish me luck!)

Inviting and Comfortable Beach House

This house is just lovely. It is steps from the beach, it is comfortable and inviting and has cute decorating touches throughout the home. It is in beautiful Aquinnah near the Aquinnah Cliffs. My husband and I, and are dogs, were all relaxed and rested after our trip to this home. After having stayed in various VRBO homes, we would recommend this property.

A Fabulous Stay!!

This house was perfect! Our son was getting married in Aquinnah and 6 adults and one infant enjoyed this slice of heaven.. Everything was just perfect…the views.beach… location… decor…outdoor shower…AC…every amenity made for a fabulous stay. Amy was a wonderful host…answering each and every question quickly and with pleasure. You won’t go wrong staying here….we can’t wait to come back!!!!

Amazing Escape to Paradise Under the Stars

Beautiful home, a short walk from the beach with amazing weather. Aquinnah is such a quiet and unspoiled corner of Martha's Vineyard. The stars at night are so huge and seemingly near in the ink black sky that you might duck your head for fear of bumping into them. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. We want to return soon!!!
