Place was great. It was clean and we were so close to the beach. The beds were comfortable as was the living room furniture. There were turtles under the deck that we enjoyed watching roam around. We have stayed at Cowpet many times and it’s a nice location.

Host communication was great, property is beautiful, condo was just as described and had everything we could need. Super easy drive to Red Hook. We rented a car and we could get anywhere in the island in a short amount of time.

Great stay!

We had a great stay here at Serenity Sands. Very clean, very well stocked, quaint property with a great beach front restaurant. The owner/staff was very attentive and quick to answer questions and respond. We would definitely stay here again!

Just as described

This condo was in a great location easily accessible to beach, restaurants, as well as close to most tourist attractions. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

Nice Location

We enjoyed our stay at Cowpet Bay. This location is close to Redhook property. Managers were awesome.

Perfect getaway!

This condo was amazing for our week away. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Amy went above and beyond for us - had groceries already in the refrigerator once we arrived. Would stay here again!

Best appointed condo!

We had a great time at Serenity Sands. This was the best appointed condo I’ve ever stayed at! It was very clean and had everything from a stocked kitchen to beach toys, chairs, noodles etc.

Incredible place

This condo was everything it was described to be. Check in was so easy, communication was easy, and the walk down the steps to the beach was even easier. It was more equipped than I could have hoped! The beach is beautiful and quiet.

Family getaway

The condo was perfect for our family of 5! Great location on the island, beautiful views from the balcony, just steps from the beach and pool access. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals when we didn’t feel like eating out. the Beach chairs and sand toys provided was a great bonus too. This is a great place to stay if traveling with the whole family.

Beth and Amy (property managers) were friendly and helpful. Beth called after I texted a question regarding a recommendation for dinner and she gave us lots of great suggestions all over the island. Location was beautiful and the condo was clean. Loved the spaciousness and washer/dryers. Highly recommend staying here! (Would suggest a full length mirror be added)

Great stay

This well equipped condo has everything you can think of in a great location overlooking the beach and bay. with two bedrooms, a patio and a living area there was ample space to spread out with my three teenagers. It is very convenient to the east side of the island, Red Hook, and the ferry to St. John’s. The beach, pool, poolside bar, and grille were a great places to hang out.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo and overall would highly recommend it. The property was just as described, clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed for both our stay and our beach days. There was plenty of space for four adults, and having private bathrooms in each bedroom was a huge plus.The view was beautiful, although partially obstructed by a large tree, so it was best enjoyed from about half of the balcony. The bathrooms were on the smaller side, but still perfectly functional.The location was great, convenient to many attractions and restaurants, which made getting around easy. Amy and Beth were fantastic hosts, very attentive, quick to respond to any questions or concerns, and incredibly helpful in assisting with booking excursions ahead of our arrival.The only downside was that the TV satellite was not working for the duration of our stay. That said, in such a beautiful setting, we didn’t miss it much.Overall, a great experience and a property we would definitely recommend.

Slice of paradise

As a family of four adults we really enjoyed our 10 night stay. Being able to sit in the condo and hear the waves crashing was really enjoyable. The condo was well equipped and had everything we needed for our time there. The manager Amy was in constant communication before our arrival and made it easy to plan our vacation.

Nice condo, nice location

Would have like better labeling on fan remotes and switches in general. Also, battery back up if needed. All and all it was perfect

Vacation Fun

The condo location is outstanding. Very well appointed. The Property Manager Amy is very responsive to questions. The detailed binder in the condo is a wealth of information. Highly recommend staying at this condo.

Summer Vacation 2022

We loved our condo and the surrounding property. The view from the balcony was wonderful. Lots of room for our family of 4. The A/C and fans cooled the condo. We had quick access to the beach, pool, beach bar and 2 restaurants on site. I would recommend to anyone traveling to St. Thomas.

Exceeded Expectations

The property was clean and very well stocked. We literally had everything we needed right there. The beach wasn’t ever crowded and our teens loved the nearby pool. The restaurant and bar next door had AMAZING food and super friendly staff. Amy was always super helpful and responsive. I worked for a vacation rental company for many years and I can honestly say — this was a great experience.

Very Nice Condo

Overall it was a very nice condo with two King sized beds that were very comfortable, chairs to bring to the beach, and a nice cooler. The only thing we were disappointed in was the view - there's a large tree blocking pretty much the entire view and it looks nothing like the pictures in the VRBO ad.

The view from half of the patio changes at different times of the year, depending on when the tree below is trimmed back or full, it just so happened the tree was full when you visited. Thankfully you have a great beach/water view from the other half of the patio! I have requested of management to trim the tree so our guests can enjoy that beautiful view!

Peaceful Paradise

We had a really nice stay. Everything we could need for our trips to the beach was provided. the only drawbacks for us were the number of stairs we had to traverse daily (three of us have had knee replacements and found the number of stairs a little daunting but we managed) and the "isolation" of the property. There wasn't really a way to walk onto or off the property to say Redhook safely. This drawback has nothing to do with the property, however. We just used Smiley's taxi service alot! We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay! We could see ourselves here again....

Thank you Lorna! We are glad you enjoyed this great condo and all it offers. Because of the island's hilly terrain, most resorts have many stairs. Also the island is known for its crazy roads with no shoulders so it is not walkable anywhere other than the Ritz next door to visit their restaurants.

Fantastic Holiday Vacation

We just returned from staying at Serenity Sands for a week from Christmas to New Year's Day. Two adults and two teens. We had an amazing trip. This unit is exceptionally well stocked and nicely renovated. Plenty of room for everyone. It is clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable week. Amy (property manager) was incredibly responsive and helpful. She went above and beyond to communicate and provide helpful recommendations for grocery delivery service, excursions, etc. The location is perfect. I appreciated the level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail. It was a wonderful vacation - hope to return again soon.

Nice location, Clean Condo

This condo is in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to cowpet bay. Condo was clean and had all that was needed. Getting to the condo (on common road) some of the speed bumps are questionable. Our CAR kept on scrapping however slow or total stop and move. Just FYI. It has nothing to do with the Condo or in it's control of them.

Balcony View and Ground Floor

The view in the listing shows a nice view of the beach from the table on the balcony. In reality, you are looking into the top of a tree that obstructs your view. The listing indicates you are on the ground floor giving you the impression that you have direct access to the beach. In reality, you are fifteen feet above the grade and there is no access.

Thankfully you have a great beach view from the other half of the patio! The listing mentions there are two levels at Cowpet Bay East, with this unit being on the first level (not a mention of ground floor or walk out beach access). This is one of the closest condos to the beach so a very short walk compared to others.

Paradise Found

What a wonderful place to stay in St. Thomas. This was our family's 1st visit to the island, and we didn't realize how crowded it can be. But no worries - this property is located in a spot that offers a bit of seclusion while yet being close to all sorts of shops and restaurants (including the ferry dock to make the short trip to St. John). The beach was beautiful, relaxing, and never busy despite the number of condos onsite. We made trips to several public beaches which were gorgeous, but of course, no place on the beach to stay. That made this property top of the list from our perspective (even a nicer beach that the Ritz Carlton!). The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed to do some onsite cooking (even parchment paper!). The cooler and ice packs were also nice as we used those nearly every day to keep things cold at the beach and also for our day trip to St. John. Highly recommend this property - you can't go wrong!
