This bright and spacious condo has amazing ocean, river, and bridge views making it the perfect spot for your next trip to Gold Beach. With comfortable furnishings including a large flatscreen TV and space for everyone, you’ll have everything needed for a memorable vacation on the Southern Oregon coast. There is also a furnished balcony that offers great views of the water and is the ideal spot to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine at sunset.

What's nearby:
This condo is located on the north side of the Rogue River, just a short distance from the beach. You will be able to take leisurely walks (or very quick drives) to the jetty for easy beach access, and you can also spend afternoons walking along the river and watching the fishing boats on the water. And just over the bridge is Gold Beach with restaurants, shops, and plenty of other interesting things to discover.

Bedrooms are a problem

Both bedrooms furniture is 40 years old. It's a shame, they have updated most everything else. Pillows and bedding are awful. House keeping poor.

Quiet Cozy Retreat

This unit was comfortable for 2. Just enough furniture and space to move around. The entire complex when we visited was very quiet. The deck got winter sun and was protected from the wind, so it was comfortable to sit outside when it wasn't raining. Kitchen had a good array of cooking and baking dishes, tools, wine opener, even paper towels, and extra light bulbs. Bring your own spices, and if you don't like the plastic coffee K-cups, bring your own coffee stuff. The bed was firm and comfortable. OK, now for "what this unit could use": some kind of hooks or racks for kitchen towels (they had to sit on counter); a clothes drying rack for wet hats, gloves, raincoats (if you don't want to put them into the electric dryer); better maintenance overall -- the oven broiler did not work; the microwave light did not work; the deck screen/storm door was missing the piston so the door flapped in the wind; the grill needs a new foot; the floors and toilet were not totally clean (had obvious residue). This is probably a 3.5 rating but it's closer to 4 due to the nice location (walkable to jetty and beach) and generally well-kept furnishings.

Dissapointing - deferred maintenance

The location and living space was great. Beautiful view and very quiet. That being said, upon entry there was a strong urine smell. I realize this is pet friendly, however carpets were smelly, stained and “tacky”. We felt compelled to where shoes inside during our stay. Overdue for cleaning , vinyl flooring woul be a better choice for pet friendly condo. No bbq as advertised, we had planned to take advantage of it. Oven not working, discovered after preparing a meal and having to take it to our guests home to cook😕. We booked several months in advance , and only after checking in noticed recent reviews with the same complaints . Unfortunately these issues weren’t addressed and we were not notified by Vacasa of them. The listing on ALL platforms should be updated to disclose the oven is not working and remove the gas grill as an amenity. Prior to arriving, we purchased groceries to prepare meals, but had to alter plans. Added cleaning supplies (multi purpose cleaner, glass cleaner and more than ONE garbage bag) would have been helpful as well. Also the top of the refrigerator was filthy with dirt and dust. Unfortunately that is where the cutting boards were kept…Also there are screens missing on the SCREEN door window and lower bedroom window.

Great location, but unit was advertised as having 3 beds when it only has 2, and there was an unpleasant odor throughout that I suspect another guest's pet caused.

Beautiful view

Stunning view of the rogue. However, code to get keys for unit was incorrect which started a snowball affect of issues. Dirty stained carpet, no outdoor BBQ and the oven doesn’t work. Otherwise acceptable but would strongly recommend putting together a guest book with the condos amenities and how to operate them.

They were panting the outside of our unit and all windows with the river view were masked off blocking all views and leaving no air flow along with no access to the patio deck facing the river , Management would not respond when asked about a solution

Lovely View

The view was amazing. The beds were a little uncomfortable, and the house needs a better cooling system, because the house was extremely warm. Everything else was great!

Love the north jetty!

The condo was quiet and nicely laid out. I found it clean and stocked with the essentials. The Wi-Fi was spotty in the evening. The only source of heat seemed to be the electric fireplace…the bed pillows need to be replaced, or bring your own. They have a dirty head smell and have lost their softness. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with soft towels. I plan on returning, as I love the north jetty and beach.

Comfortable and great view!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. This condo is comfortable, quiet, and had a great view of the Rogue River and the ocean. We saw birds, ducks, and sea lions. Cozy living room and well equipped kitchen. Had everything we needed. We'll be back again!

Great for a short weekend!

Place was clean and in a great location right on the Rogue River where you could wake up, watch the fishing boats and sea lions troll the waters. We found it to be very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked so we could make dinner while in town. There is no AC (as noted in the description) which is typically fine at the coast with cross breezes, but with only one real window in the downstairs bedroom, we had to keep the patio door wide open. They did provide fans, and the downstairs bedroom did cool down nicely, but if you're a hot sleeper this may cause an issue in the heat of summer.

Condo is nice, Vacasa is horrible

Vacasa couldn’t be more inept. We had a couple of minor issues that they couldn’t resolve at all and really no response—had to fend for ourselves. Then when we left, our son thought he left AirPods behind. I messaged, asking them to let me know if anyone turned them in. They told me it would cost $25 for them to tell me whether anyone turned anything in. I understand paying to ship, etc., but paying just to know if anyone turned something in? Blew my mind. I confirmed with the person I talked to….”so, if I don’t pay and the cleaners find AirPods, you just get to keep them?”…..no response…. Customer service really isn’t their thing. Our family has a vacation home and would NEVER want our guests treated the way they treated us. Condo is nice— -a few touches could make it much more welcoming (nice paper products, mattress toppers on bed, etc.). Would stay here again, but NOT if Vacasa is managing.

Cozy Condo

My partner and I liked this condo but decided to give it a four-star review for two reasons. First, the condo's deck was covered in a decent layer of dust, which means that the deck hasn't been cleaned in a while. Second, the dishwasher contained clean items, which might not seem like that big of a deal, but my expectation is that the dishwasher is empty upon arrival.

A delightful place to hang out along the banks of the Rogue River where it meets the Pacific Ocean.

Every day it was like having a front row seat to a parade! The daily fishing boats making their continually repeating circles down to the end of the jetty and back up to the bridge. The sea lions trying to steal the fishermen's catches. The sea lion patrol boat trying to chase away the sea lions. It was endlessly entertaining and relaxing sitting on the deck and watching the spectacle. And then there was Woogy's fish and chips and fish tacos!!! Amazingly good. And the Gold Beach Disc Golf course is super well maintained and a beautiful location to see how good your game is-- it's a challenging course, and great exercise with its forested course. And, of course, there's the ocean! Pistol River Beach 9mi south is a gem. The apartment is exactly as advertised, no surprises, very clean, and has everything you need for a great coast getaway.

Love the view but room was too hot

Nice condo with a great view of the Rougue river. Nice little kitchen with everything you need to make meals. It was summer when we stayed there and couldnt get the AC to work. I'm glad we brought our own box fan to help us stay cool while sleeping. Overall a nice place to stay.

Great location

This rental was nice. Pictures on here are very accurate. The location was really nice, on the Rouge River. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a good steak dinner. Bathroom was fully stocked with plenty of towels. My only complaint with this rental is the beds. Oh my are they horrible!! I would highly reccomend some upgrading or at least a nice matress topper. My husband is someone who can sleep anywhere, in any condition & this was the 1st time he said the bed really made his back hurt. I put the extra blankets underneath our sheet, trying to make it better, but nothing helped. Horrible sleep for those 2 nights. Besides the beds though, I would highly reccomend this place. We will definately go back, if the fix the bed situation 😊

Had a wonderful time in Gold Beach

The condo is on the third floor, so pack light. It has a full kitchen and outdoor BBQ. The view from the deck is of the Rogue River and the estuary. It's beautiful. Although Vacasa responded to our communications immediately, there were a few short comings: The pans in the range were greasy and dirty, there was no coffee maker (it did have a Kurig, but no Kurig coffee cups). Vacasa was very responsive and delived a K-cup for the machine. We never figured out how to turn the furnace on, but the gas fireplace kept us warm enough. The location is about an hour from the Redwood Forest to the south, and an hour from Bandon to the north. We hiked, played a round of golf and spent time on the beach only ten minutes away. All in all, we had a wonderful time. I'd recommend this location to anyone seeking a quiet weekend at the beachc.

Beautiful Rogue Vista

We love watching the river as the tides change. The size is just right for my husband and I. We like having the bedroom located next to the bathroom. We used the stand-alone heater exclusively because we could not get the thermostat to work. The heater was sufficient. We have stayed here before and will be back.

Sweet clean place with a view

Great views w/ nice stay for small family

Great views. The views of the water and bridge were amazing to wake up to. Small little town that had some good food. Good location close to Samuel H Boardman. It is Oregon so does get a fair share of bugs. Outside could use a little more maintenance
