If you’re the “get away from it all” relaxing and enjoying the coastal sunsets, or “the outdoor adventurer” fishing, hiking, exploring the beaches, Rogue River Retreat is your Oregon coast vacation destination.

Our convenient location is just across the bridge from downtown Gold Beach.

Our 1200 sq.ft. retreat is home away from home.
Full kitchen, laundry, outdoor BBQ area, botanical gardens, pet secure yard, all nestled above the mouth of the river.

Great Relxing Time

The house was cute, nicely appointed, and very clean. The furniture was comfortable, including the beds. We enjoyed the view very much, and the property around the place. The host was wonderful and helpful.

Cute and comfortable

This was such a lovely little place to stay. Everything was clean and amenities were easy to find and use. The sitting room was a perfect place for our family to watch a movie while looking out at the river and bridge. Everything was close by so it was easy to go to a restaurant and grab a bite to eat. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We highly recommend this place to stay.

Cute and Homey

I stayed here with my elderly mother and my twin daughters. This home was large enough for all, well decorated and close to everything. The owners were kind and attentive. Highly recommend. Right down the street from the Jerry’s jet boats.

Comfortable with a great view

We were very comfy and felt right at home. The owner checked in with us shortly after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable! We would stay again.

Great Location

Dorothy was very accommodating and friendly. The secret garden was a beautiful bonus. It’s in a great location where you can view the bridge from the windows and the porch. I loved the dog area. Will be back!

Wonderful Property!

This place is so beautiful and close to everything! Plus great view. The manager/owner is incredible friendly and loves dogs, didn't change me for mine and included treats and bowls for him. Property it's really big and has everything you will need, really worth every penny. Thank you so much!

Wonderful as usual!

Dorothy is so accommodating. Staying here is easy. It’s not our first stay and we will be back. It is perfect for my little old guy (15.5 year-old Jack Russell). The fenced areas are a God send! Beautiful location

We enjoyed our trip to Gold Beach, the property was easy to find, and afforded us a quiet and beautiful location, over seeing the Rogue River. We were thankful to have a dog yard and also areas to walk the dog.

Dorothy's House

I stayed here with two girlfriends for five nights and we were all happy with the accomodations. The bedrooms were a nice size and lots of closet space. We cooked all our meals and kitchen had everything we needed. There is a nice sized deck in back with table and several chairs. Make sure you use the chairs out front for your morning coffee and evening wine--nice view of river and bridge! We had parking for three cars.
