Gold Beach - 2nd time around

This was our second time renting this home which was perfect for our family. We love the views, the privacy, the hot tub, and more.

Christmas Vacation stay

Great stay. Right on the beach. We thought there would be a pathway from the house to the beach, but it's not allowed. We had to walk down the road a ways and take another trail. One of our party members was unable to go, as they have trouble walking. Also, I don't know if I didn't read it in the description, but there are stairs between each level. One set of stairs is not carpeted and does not have grip tape on the painted surface. The one member in our party, who has trouble walking, did not feel comfortable going up and down so they were pretty much confined to the living area. The living area was smaller than I had imagined, same with kitchen. There isn’t much counter space for preparing large meals and cooking. The house was clean and very well stocked. We forgot a few things, and were pleasantly surprised to find it in the cupboards! The hot tub is not in a covered area and is exposed to the elements. It was extremely rainy and windy for most of our stay, so we were limited to the times we could use the tub, which is one of the reasons we rented this particular house. The wood stove was only able to be lit on the day that had nice weather, as there are specific notes saying not to light the fire during any windy weather. Overall, we enjoyed our time spent with each other and the views of the sea.

nice quiet location

right on the beach but berm in front of house prevents view of beach. Beach access close and mostly good, one twenty foot climb that was a challenge but not impossible for older folks in group. House a little dated but had everything we needed. Shared shower had fixed shower height that was very short so uncomfortable for hair washing. Nice hot tub and deck.. Inability to load TV apps of ours was annoying.Owner quick to reply and solution was also quick.

West Coast Getaway

Great view of the ocean from the master bedroom. Quiet, peaceful location. Hot top was good, but a bit noisy. You can hear it inside the house. Windows are in need of some maintenance. Overall we had a fabulous time. For us, a great location.

Wonderful coastal getaway

We loved our stay in this Gold Beach home. It was easy to get to, close to town and within a short walk to the beach. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. And the hot tub was a nice bonus after a long day on the beach. My family and I had a really nice time. We will be back.

Great family vacation

We just stayed for 3 nights to visit the southern Oregon coast. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking, as well as beach toys for the kids. The location was great for visiting a number of places during our stay and the views were great!

If you are looking for views and beach access, this is it!

This is a comfortable house with incredible beach / ocean views and easy access to a secluded beach. The house is clean, well equipped and perfect for groups from 2-6. As a bonus we hit blackberry season and were able to pick ripe berries right out front of the house.

Relaxing, kick back an enjoy the sounds of crashing waves. listen to the call of the whales. watching the seals and seal lions bobbing in the surf. Easy access to the beach, just a short walk, lots of blackberries to pick.

We absolutely loved staying here. The beach access is convenient, you can drive down direct onto the beach from the other end of the neighborhood, too! Check in was seamless. Internet worked perfect. The sheets and pillows smelled incredible. 10/10 will stay again.

Beautiful views, but no personal beach access

The views are wonderful and the best part about the house. The house was plenty big enough for our family of five. My biggest complaint is how you are 50 feet from the water and don't have your own water access, you have to walk about a quarter of a mile and use a community path. The house is clean on all the major surfaces but it needs a deep clean, and the blankets washed. My daughter dropped a toy next to the bed and I went to pick it up and found lots of dust, hair and dirt under and next to the bed. The neighborhood was quiet but your visible to everyone when you get in the hot tub. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the house served our needs. I do think it would be nice to have your own beach access especially for the price and with having the beach literally at the backdoor but if your up for a little walk or just wanting a great view, this is the perfect place.
