Great views

Great view of the ocean from hot tub, living, dining room and master bedroom. Master bedroom is kind of tuck away on its own up the windy stairs. House is warm and relaxing. We had a great stay.

Great family vacation

We just stayed for 3 nights to visit the southern Oregon coast. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking, as well as beach toys for the kids. The location was great for visiting a number of places during our stay and the views were great!

Wonderful coastal getaway

We loved our stay in this Gold Beach home. It was easy to get to, close to town and within a short walk to the beach. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. And the hot tub was a nice bonus after a long day on the beach. My family and I had a really nice time. We will be back.

West Coast Getaway

Great view of the ocean from the master bedroom. Quiet, peaceful location. Hot top was good, but a bit noisy. You can hear it inside the house. Windows are in need of some maintenance. Overall we had a fabulous time. For us, a great location.

If you are looking for views and beach access, this is it!

This is a comfortable house with incredible beach / ocean views and easy access to a secluded beach. The house is clean, well equipped and perfect for groups from 2-6. As a bonus we hit blackberry season and were able to pick ripe berries right out front of the house.

very nice home to stay an just relax

Relaxing, kick back an enjoy the sounds of crashing waves. listen to the call of the whales. watching the seals and seal lions bobbing in the surf. Easy access to the beach, just a short walk, lots of blackberries to pick.

Good bye 2022

We had a great stay - very stormy for a few days and then perfect weather for the weekend. This very private and clean house was great with a well equipped kitchen. Views of the ocean from both the living room and master bedroom which was nice for all. Great hikes, beaches and sites nearby. We would rent this place again.

We absolutely loved staying here. The beach access is convenient, you can drive down direct onto the beach from the other end of the neighborhood, too! Check in was seamless. Internet worked perfect. The sheets and pillows smelled incredible. 10/10 will stay again.

nice quiet location

right on the beach but berm in front of house prevents view of beach. Beach access close and mostly good, one twenty foot climb that was a challenge but not impossible for older folks in group. House a little dated but had everything we needed. Shared shower had fixed shower height that was very short so uncomfortable for hair washing. Nice hot tub and deck.. Inability to load TV apps of ours was annoying.Owner quick to reply and solution was also quick.

Our children and grandchildren had a wonderful mini vacation at David’s lovely home. The house was well stocked with all essential items and very clean. The kids loved the ping pong table and short walk to the secluded beach. Been going to gold beach for years and this by far was the best clean, well stocked, and pet friendly home we rented. Thanks David

Beautiful views

Pelican Watch was a wonderful place to stay. The location is fantastic, right on the ocean with access to the beach just a few feet down the road. The views were amazing, especially from the top floor master suite. The house had every thing we needed and the kitchen was well stocked. It was clean and well cared for. A couple suggestions: 1) add a topper to the mattress as the bed was pretty firm; and 2) add a French press for the kitchen. We would absolutely stay again; I’ve already recommended the house to some friends!

Nothing but Ocean

Very cozy, comfortable, clean and well-appointed house with incredible ocean views from all living spaces and the upstairs bedroom suite. Everyone with whom we dealt including the owner, the host and the cleaner were kind and thoughtful. We loved watching the sunsets from the hot tub. Property is very private with plenty of space outside for parking and kids to run around. The ping pong table was a fun bonus.

One week of solitude in A plus location

There are just a few small problems with this house. The location makes up for them tho. One is it needs deep cleaned especially the windows and the whole house needed dusted. Then there is the very dated and dusty fake plants that just looked so tacky and ruined the beauty of this house. The beds were super comfortable but the couches were not. My husband and I stayed a week. Very quiet Only saw others on the beach a few times. Just a great time.
