An Ocean Lakes vacation beach house overlooking the surf, the lake & the canal, this two-story, four bedrooms, three bath beach house is in Ocean Lakes & is conveniently situated less than a 1 min walk to the beach, on-property water park & lazy river, indoor pool, basketball court, playground, family sports area, recreation center, miniature golf & outdoor resort pools. An on-property convenience store is within a short walk or golf cart ride. The house features an upstairs king bed in the master with a full, private bathroom. Upstairs, the queen bedroom & twin/double bed bedrooms share a full, separate hallway bathroom. Main level: Downstairs has luxury vinyl flooring and a fully equipped kitchen, and a queen bedroom with a full bathroom. A full-sized washer & dryer are on the main level. In addition, there is a queen sleeper sofa. The deck areas catch the afternoon breeze & are perfect for watching the activity and enjoying the views. Ground Level: Hot/cold private outside shower, grill and a ground level deck.

Activities for Everyone: This 24-hour gated resort is close to great restaurants in Myrtle Beach, Surfside & Murrels Inlet. Off-property entertainment options include Ripley's Aquarium, Buffett's Margaritaville and water activities for the enthusiasts. Daily supervised events for pre-teens. Activities like 'Ocean Lakes Survivor Challenge', Surf School and golf clinics will keep teens occupied. 'Surf Camp' is very popular for ages 10-16. But call ahead to make sure your dates correspond with this activity.

Came with a group of people from all over the US. The house had four separate bedrooms and the beds were as described; NOT the typical 6-inch mattresses like most houses. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in-house and we used the grill over half the time. Great owner!

We just needed a couple of days at the beach, and the host made it available to us on short notice. The house has everything we needed; especially a Kurig (sp?) coffee maker! Thanks

The owner was easy to work with.  We came from four different states and coordinating arrivals and departures was not hard at all.  He made the process simple.  Parking at the house was great.  We got every vehicle parked at the house and did not have to remotely park anything.  Plenty of outdoor spaces and conveniently close to the ocean, pools, waterpark and activity center. Had an amazing time.

We had a baseball tourney for my grandsons, so we didn't spend a lot of time at the beach. But the beach is a 30-second walk from the house. No need to load up the golf cart unless you are transporting a coolers and chairs. Also, the waterpark and pools are just as close. The kids were at a tournament most of the day, so they enjoyed the waterpark when they did have some time. Great communication from the owner.

This house had everything we need for a comfortable, but short, weekend' sheets, towels, close to the beach, close to the arcade and walking distance to anything from the beach ... Surfside Pier, On-the-Beach Restaurant/bar. Owner was very accommodating!

Would NOT recommend!When we arrived, the home had not been properly cleaned. There was toothpaste left in the sinks, hair in the showers and throughout the floors, dirt/debris on the floors, and dead bugs throughout the home. Because of this, we had to go to Walmart to purchase our own cleaning supplies so we could clean the home ourselves before settling in. In addition, the main refrigerator was not working, there appeared to be mold in one of the bedrooms, the downstairs bathroom outlets were not functioning, the upstairs AC was running but did not cool the upstairs adequately, and the Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor throughout our stay. We experienced issues with both TVs. There were several safety concerns we encountered during our stay. In the upstairs primary bedroom, one of the floor thresholds was loose, causing my sister-in-law to trip and nearly fall. Additionally, the floor vent in the same bedroom was loose, and our 2-year-old stepped on it, causing it to give way and resulting in him falling into the vent opening. The doorknob on the door leading into the kitchen from the outdoor stairwell was loose and did not function properly. The owner informed us that he would send 100 via mail due to the issues with the refrigerator. We did NOT receive this. We were told he would be reaching out regarding other issues. We have still not heard back despite my efforts of checking in requesting a response. We are very disappointed. Photos and description NOT accurate.

The Dorda's were a great family and guests to have at our beach house. They were very respectful of the property and left our house in excellent condition. Dale house D-1. Oceanlakes Campground

Great location !!! Close to everything. House was really clean . Mr. Dale was great from day one . Would definitely recommend for a great vacation ! Family loved it didn’t want to leave . Hope to get to stay here again in the future .

Great location and great host!

Very comfortable and equipped beach house only a few steps from the beach and waterpark for kids. Family enjoyed it immensely and will definitely return in the future. Mr. Dale was an outstanding host and went out of his way to make sure our stay was great and all our needs were met.

Short stay to plan for next stay after Augusta

Just a quick stay to check out the area. Going to me in MB after Augusta for golf weekend. House is set up great for four adult couples so each couple gets their own private room with a door. Great Host!

Close to everything

The location was fantastic and is close to the indoor pool, the beach and not a far drive to restaurants. House has everything to "camp out" for a week's stay

Amazing Stay, Great Location, Awesome Host

You cannot beat the location of this property in Ocean Lakes. Our family has been traveling to Ocean Lakes for years and this house was one of our favorites. You can walk to the beach and pool. The host was very responsive and helpful during every part of the process. We will stay here again!

BEST HOME IN OCEAN LAKES!

D-01 is the best property in the entire community if you ask me! Perfectly located close to EVERYTHING-Beach-Bingo-Water park- Restaurant-Rec center-etc, Home has everything, kitchen has everything and then some, Super host is an understatement for this property and Mr. Dale, I would choose this place over any others in the neighborhood!

This was a great vacation home!

We absolutely loved staying here we had 4 adults and 5 teens with plenty of room! It’s such a great location to the beach. We loved that towels and linens were provided as well. Having the outdoor shower was great. We loved hanging out on the upper and lower decks watching the golf carts go by. We will definitely stay again !

We purchased this beach house to have a place to vacation with our children and extended family. We wanted them to have experiences like we did at the beach when we were growing up; a safe place where they could feel free to explore, make friends from across the country and just be kids.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Our house is situated close to the beach, the activities and the pool areas. The Security at Ocean Lakes is excellent and we feel very comfortable letting our teen, pre-teen and friends move about the property without having to escort them to each activity. It gives them a feeling of accomplishment and independence. It lets us enjoy a vacation and not just an extension of home activities moved to a different location.

Ground level deck with seating and a porch swing allows adults the freedom to entertain, put food on the grill and watch the children play. The main level deck and outdoor teak furniture extends the living area so families can enjoy being outdoors while eating or entertaining friends and family.
