Welcome to Ohio Cottage, a 4 bedroom house on the bluff in Spokane's popular Kendall Yards district. Take advantage of all Spokane has to offer from this beautiful home within walking distance of major Spokane attractions, excellent eats and sweets, local coffee, wine and beer, shopping, gourmet grocery, and even a spa. Walk out the front door to the Centennial trail for miles of running or biking, a Lime Scooter ride, or a stroll to Riverfront Park (1.06 mi). Sip your coffee (plus delicious fresh donuts, if you're feeling hungry, just steps from your door) on the private back patio with stunning views of downtown Spokane. Take in a show at the Spokane Arena (1 mi) or the Performing Arts Center (1.3 mi). Or simply curl up on the couch and binge watch your favorite show, read or play games. Whatever you choose to do in Spokane, you'll be right in the center of it all.

Cottage Life

Great location to access the parks and downtown, especially if you like a short walk, which we do. Very little interaction needed w/ the property owners, but very prompt replies for the few questions we did have. Bottom line, we’ll stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Christmas at Ohio Cottage

We stayed in the Ohio Cottage from December 23-28. The house was well appointed and very clean. Beds were comfortable and bedding was very nice. The common rooms were small, but comfortable. The owners provided a beautiful Christmas tree for our family and it was appreciated.The owner, Elliott, was responsive to questions thru text messages. The location is ideal with a short walk to the Riverwalk and downtown.

Love this place!

Clean, great layout, thoughtfully appointed, terrific hosts and right on the bike/footpath that goes through town. Wonderful spot!! We’ll be back for sure.

Fantastic spot - loved our stay

We loved our stay here. My daughter (16) said she wanted to live here within 5 minutes of arriving! A distinctive layout, with lots of windows and a great view; all rooms are beautifully upkept, well appointed and comfortable; and the amazing bike trail is literally outside the front door. We also really like Kendall Yards - great selection of shops and places to eat within walking distance. We'll be back for sure!

Unique and thoughtful design, great location

This home has a unique character, with a customized design to make the most of each room’s best features. Beautiful windows capture the stunning views. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings, thoughtful touches such as guest slippers and chocolates. Situated in a beautiful neighborhood, peaceful location, but close to local restaurants and amenities offered in downtown Spokane.

A Wonderful Stay

This Kendall Yards home is situated in a lovely part of Spokane near everything we wanted to do and see. An unexpected night market and music concert just blocks away plus yoga studios, great eateries, nature walks and more make this an ideal location. The home is clean and Liz and Elliot have provided everything you could possibly need in a "home away from home". There are lovely views of nature from all windows. Just a heads up to anyone dealing with ambulation or stair climbing issues, that there are stairs to negotiate, a couple flights. However, there is a sturdy smooth banister which made that safe for me. This is a five star vbro and we look forward to returning.

Outstanding home

The house looks small from the outside, but is spacious and welcoming. There was not a single thing lacking for our stay. The kitchen has every cooking item we could have needed. Every bed was comfortable. The laundry room is quite large and the washer/dryer in excellent working order. The back patio was our favorite place to sit, and we had a few deer visit during our stay.The neighborhood is lovely, and the owners even provide bikes and scooters for guests' use. Instructions and information are readily available at check-in, and are clear and easy to understand. We loved the many decorative touches as well. An absolute 5-star property and owner.

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay at Ohio Cottage. It was clean, comfy, had plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family, and was most importantly, was well air conditioned during a heat wave of 104°.

If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Things outside of managers control: Location, perfect, right on centenial trail and walking distance from bars and resteraunts! layout, family friendly bedrooms on 3 floors and good size, Amazing! Things that owners control: cleanliness, very clean. Amenities, games, books, bikes/scooters w/helmets, light weights, off-streat parking. This is a great rental. Will likely stay there again.

We stayed at the Ohio Cottage for 5 nights in mid-June. What a charming and unusual house! We were surprised to find it was built in the 90s--it has the charm of a 1940s home but is totally modern. Although my husband was born in Spokane and I lived there for several years, we have never really seen the city from this angle. It was fun trying to identify familiar landmarks from this side of town. We wished we'd brought our binoculars. Of course, being close to the restaurants of Kendall Yards was super convenient, as was the access to the Centennial Trail. Movie buffs can easily jog on over (down?) to the Vision Quest house AND the Benny and Joon house. We had plenty of room for ourselves and our two adult children. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and very clean. The bathrooms were spacious and offered all we needed. We couldn't hook up our Fire TV Stick, but the house offered a Roku with access to most of what we'd have watched anyway. We enjoyed many hours on the patio. Communication with the owner was easy and straightforward. We would definitely stay here again if we travel with a group.

Perfection!

This home was perfect. It was very clean and nicely decorated, with plenty of room for 5 of us. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms were spacious. The location was perfect with beautiful views in the back and a lovely park in the front. Quiet and serene! We could walk to the city along the Centennial Trail which was literally right outside the door. The host, Elliot, was super nice and responsive. We loved it and hated to leave!

Great stay!

Love this property! So close to everything! Located just across the street from the continental trail with bikes, scooters and skate boards to use. House itself is so much bigger than it looks from the street. Views from every room are fantastic!

Exceeded Expectations

The location of this lovely home could not have been better. We walked the trail, visited shops and enjoyed the bikes that were kindly provided. Each room had a beautiful view. We cannot wait to return!

Great neighborhood

We loved this home. It was a great location with a cute little park across the street and within walking distance to the bakery. The house was clean, well stocked, and very inviting. The mini splits in every room was a nice surprise. Every guest was able to adjust the temperature to their preferred temperature. We would definitely stay here again!

Best part of Spokane

We traveled a small team to Spokane for a large event. The home was in a safe area with plenty of space. Our host was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Perfection

Great house in Kendall Yards. On the Centennial Trial - they have bikes and scooters for your use! Donuts and Crepes just a 3 minute walk and a little park just across the street! The house has comfortable beds and it’s layout provides privacy - upstairs has two bedrooms with a little play area - perfect for a family! Downstairs has a primary bedroom - perfect for the grandparents! It also has a main floor bedroom. The house is very clean with views overlooking the Spokane River! We loved it! Liz and Elliot are superb Hosts!

Perfect Family Visit!

This lovely sunny home was perfect for our family gathering. Comfortable beds and great kitchen. The three levels gave each of us privacy,I and the lower floor kitchen, dining and sitting area perfect for getting together. Great family get away

We had a wonderful time attending the ANCC tournament and staying at the cottage. Cottage was just 1.1 mile from the arena allowing us to walk to and from - also close to downtown. Kitchen was fully stocked allowing us to cook meals to reduce cost. Overall it was a perfect weekend. Thank you

Riverfront getaway

We had a small family gathering in Spokane and wanted a place near Riverfront park. We found a gem here, a comfortable, clean home with beautiful views. The Centennial trail is across the street along with a fun play area for the kids. The kitchen is large with plenty of room for cooking. The house has easy access to I-90 and is at the end of a street with plenty of parking. This is a great place in a great location.
