Darling craftsman home with lots of character and charm in a good neighborhood…grocery store within walking distance!!. Very comfortable for our stay during a baseball tournament here in town (for two adults and two teenagers). When we contacted the owner/manager during our stay he was very attentive and helpful! Highly recommend!!

My family had a great stay at this place. The location was wonderful, with the grocery store half a block away and downtown 4 minutes by car and 15 minutes by bus. The house itself is vintage/quirky (creaky steps, some awkward light fixtures), but very clean and comfortable. We ran into an issue with the HVAC at one point but Bill was able to come up the street and get us going in no time. Next time we are in town I will hope the Cityside Retreat is available.

We were very comfortable and felt that all of us were accommodated including our toddler and our pet. All of the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a basket of toys, a play and pack (for toddler sleeping) and baby gates to keep her safe. The neighborhood was safe and easy to explore.
Cannon Hill Park and pond by the host's daughter!
Charlie was very comfortable in the house

This place is a great stay! It is clean and accommodating! The hosts are excellent to work with! It is historic place with all the old school charm! We loved it. I would recommend this absolutely to all my family and friends! I give it 20 stars!!! Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your place!

The duplex was fine for a short stay. I had a lot of problems with the payment aspect of the booking process, but the host responded within reasonable amounts of time, and we worked it out. Parking was confusing, the floors were very squeaky (expected with an old house?), and I had to wipe a spill on the kitchen the floor upon arrival. Otherwise it was a great place to stay while we were in Spokane for a family gathering.

Beautiful Home

This property had everything that we needed. I loved being able to cook a real dinner one of the nights of our stays and have a homecooked breakfast as well. The house was beautiful and comfortable. I loved the big windows in the living room and the clawfoot tub.
