Beautiful apartment at AVALON RESORT TYPE CONDO; 2Br, 2Ba

This apartment is on the first floor, has 1100 sq ft two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium unit with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, large living room with a sofa that turns into a full bed, and a beautiful patio-type balcony. Master bedroom includes a comfortable queen size bed, private bathroom with a walk-in closet and 40" screen television. Second bedroom is furnished with two single beds that can be turned into two twin beds . Towels, pillows and linens are included. Dining area provides a table that can easily sit six guests. Specious living room area is furnished with a table and a flat smart UHD screen 55'' television. Kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, new dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker as well as all the pots and pans, dishes and utensils. Unit also has an in-unit washer and dryer. For your convenience the apartment is accessible via a keyless door lock so you do not have to worry about accidentally misplacing your key. Free Cable TV, High-Speed Internet are included in this rental.

The Avalon at Clearwater is a gated resort-like condominium community that offers a family friendly environment with a free parking, heated swimming pool, 24/7 fitness facilities, and a luxury clubhouse with a kitchen, fireplace, and a barbecue area. Our host was very available and we loved this unit. Tastefully decorated and plenty of room. Close to the pool and beach short drive. We would love to come back.

Great stay for spring training!

This is a great location close to Phillies and Blue Jays training camps. Convenient shopping across the street and many restaurants in area.

Great VRBO, accommodatations were exactly what we were looking for in a family vacation.

Our stay was exactly what we were looking for and have come to expect at The Avalon. Dog friendly, family vacation, in a safe and clean environment! Superior condo, clean, equipped, and quiet.

Excellent Experience

Oscar was always very responsive and easy to contact. The property was exactly as described and we had a wonderful experience and trip. We made new friends at the wonderful pool. Conveniently located walking distance to Abe’s Restaurant and Public’s grocery store.

Vacation with Nonnie

The unit we stayed in was everything we expected...No disappointments. The unit and the surroundings was clean and very well maintained. Kids loved the pool. Be sure to eat at Abe's short walking distance. only negative was i couldn't find extra pillowcases for the extra pillows. Thanks Oscar

Clearwater

Apartment was a lot larger than the pictures made it seem. Loved the open floor plan and the pool was awesome. Our only complaints were that there was no wash cloths and there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper. Other than that the property was beautiful and being so close to everything was a plus. Thank you for opening up your place.

Great overall rental, but could have been cleaned better. The place was tidy, but not clean. Many of the high contact surface areas were grimy and the bathrooms hadn't appeared to be cleaned at all. I purchased a couple of cleaners at Walmart... problem solved. The location and amenities of the rental were great. Super convenient to travel between Dunedin, Tampa, and St. Pete. We also appreciated the courtesy beach supplies and the on site pool.

Good location, but...

Overall the place was ok. It was conveniently located to a lot of attractions and had nearby shopping centers. The condo, however, could use a good thorough cleaning. There was hair in the bathrooms and kitchen, dust behind doors and on lamp shades, and rust in the tub and sink. The dishes were left dirty in the cabinets. Also the over abundance of signage was off-putting, particularly the bathroom signs directing us to not flush toilet paper, but place it in a small.trash can next to the toilet (gross!). For the most part, the place was ok. However, it would have been nice to know ahead of time about the toilet paper issues.

We found this an amazing place to stay with our granddaughters. It was in a convenient location, it had a beautiful pool area, and it was set up with many of the items you need for your stay. I would highly recommend it. The only thing that might make it even more awesome is an air fryer to heat up leftovers!

Aside from Hurricane Ian….

The day we arrived the Tropical Depression became Tropical Storm Ian and headed for Tampa so our stay was short. Condo was okay but plumbing fixtures need a lot of work and hot water was not hot.

Nice place near the beach

This is a solid location if you want to be near the different beaches available in the Clearwater, Florida area. Convenient shopping across the street and in a gated and safe community. Definitely a good place to stay and Oscar (the host) was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Avalon Condo was a great place & location

We loved the condo, exactly as shown in pics. Only 3.5 miles from Clearwater Beach. The facilities and Pool was very nice! We looked all week for a favorite place to eat and it was right next to our Condo. We found it the last day there …Abe’s has excellent service and the Best Wings & Burgers in town! Will def stay at Avalon when visiting Clearwater and Tampa.

Very accommodating and clean

Reasonable price, convenient to Clearwater Beach and several miles north and south along the coast. The pool water was about 90 degrees so a little too warm but better than too cold!

Beautiful Condo and Grounds

Our condo was clean, spacious, and stocked with necessities. The pool was wonderful and only a short walk from our condo. They even had pool noodles for our kids to use!!

Nice getaway

Unit was clean on arrival. Everything we needed for the week was supplied. Pool are was very nice. Would have been nice to have a folded with information on area restaurants and stores but they were close and easy to find online. I would stay here again

We very much enjoyed our stay and Oscar is a gem. He was very attentive and even checked in with us just hours after arrival. The home was clean, with beautiful decor and well equiped. We would LOVE to stay again and plan to in the future. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for everything, Oscar!

Location is good, everything else was mediocre at best

Liked location of property but found this unit subpar. Upone arrival the floors were noticeably dirty (Had to re-wash ourselves) The plumbing seemed inadequate as there were signs/notices in both bathrooms instructing us to put our USED toilet paper into the trash can instead of flushing (ewww gross). Toilets did indeed backup whenever #2 was involved. There was noticeable rust in both bathtubs and the sink in the master bath had very cheap fixtures. In the kitchen we experience dirty coffee mugs and a coffee machine that did not have auto shut off as a feature. There are signs everywhere telling you what to do and what not to do which we felt were off pudding. Most hosts have a one page or a binder with the rules of the house not plaquered signs affixed to the walls. Furniture all photographs well but in essence it's all IKEA furniture. Communication was not the best. Had to ask for code day before. On the up side the pool area is very nice so consider other units in this same complex but I would stay away from this one if I were you.

Excellent stay, great location!

My wife and I and our four legged, furry "child" had a wonderful stay. We were in town for a family event and this provided not only a comfortable homebase for us but was a great location to see our family and still be able to visit the beaches easily. We were maybe 10 minutes from the beach but that also kept us out of the traffic. Condo was on the first floor and there was plenty of space to walk our dog. All of our basic needs were covered in the kitchen and there was a grocery store across the street for food and supplies. Also, plenty of places to eat nearby too. Carlos was a great host, very accommodating, and we would definitely recommend staying here!
