Dog-welcoming Farmhouse Retreat! (In-law suite with private entrance)

Beautiful Farmhouse in Edgewood, WA. Commuters dream with easy access to all major freeways for the Seattle/Tacoma Metro area. This private entrance mother-in-law suite has everything you need for your visit. Bedroom with quality linens, full bath, washer & dryer, treadmill, large tv with WIFI and Netflix included in your stay. Wake up and enjoy complimentary coffee on your patio and watch the sun come up in our quiet farming neighborhood. Close to coffee shops, grocery stores and more!

You will have a full floor all to yourself. The private entrance with keypad access welcomes you to your large bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Adjacent to the bedroom is a family room with a desk area and a workout corner with a treadmill. Around the corner is the full-sized bathroom with washer and dryer for tenant use. We provide all the amenities including coffee, bottled water, shampoo/conditioner, detergent/dryer sheets, towels, and kitchen basics. Onsite is k-cup coffee, full sized fridge (not pictured, sorry!), and microwave.

There is a private entrance on the left-hand side of the home.

Other things to note
There are stairs in the space. They lead to the second floor. There is no need to use these stairs but they are not closed off by a door. There is a door at the top of them that remains locked at all times.

Slept well

Bed very comfortable but too much outdoor light shining in windows. Door lock was temperamental but owner on site explained need to pull door forward to complete lock action. Singular sink in the bathroom a little strange for even simple breakfast. Quiet.

Very nice lower level space that met our needs. A few comments-It does not have a full kitchen, however it has essentially everything but a stove. The temperature is controlled by the owner on the first floor. They were receptive to adjusting if it was too cold or hot.

This was our 2nd stay at the Farm House

Great place for my husband and I to use as "home" while we visited with grandkids in the area. We love this neighborhood. Quiet and charming. Very clean. There is not a heating/cooling controller in the suite but the place was nice and comfortably cool during our hot stay. Owners openly invited us to let them know if heating/cooling needed adjusting for our comfort.

Cozy place, great stay!

I travel in to the area for work every three months for a couple of weeks and was really wanting to stay in a place with a kitchen and just more space. This was was a great property in a quiet neighborhood. It’s clean and spacious. Cooking gadgets available with a full size refridgerator. Fully recommend.

Great little apartment

This was a great place to stay. Tricia was so helpful and responsive. They were very patient with us with a difficult situation we experienced while staying there. All communication was prompt and clear. We will try to stay here again if possible.

Great Stay. Comfortable. Nice neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse. Communication with owner(s) was very good. There was a nice welcoming gift for us as well as bottled water. Great neighborhood, in a cul-de-sac. Felt safe walking around. It was not our intent to cook during our stay. We ate at two great restaurants close by (the owner's recommendation) and used the microwave to warm up leftovers. A family lives on the upper floor of the home. Once in a while we would hear them, but the noise really did not bother us at all; in fact, it made us feel secure. The place was spotless and very comfortable. We would stay at the Farmhouse again.

Wonderful place to stay

The homeowners were incredibly kind and accommodating. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The neighborhood feels very safe and quiet. We would love to stay there again!

It was a good place to stay.

It was easy. They kept us abreast of everything that we needed to know. They let us know if something was going on like cleaning, or they asked us if we needed it to be warmer. All in all it was a good experience.

Beautiful and safe neighborhood

The area where this house is is soooo nice! I went running and walking daily. Everything we needed was available in the house. My grandson was delighted to have toys to play with, and the treadmill was a nice surprise!

Perfect stay.

The property was just perfect for our stay. Plenty of room for my sister and family to visit. While not a full kitchen, we were able to cook fresh salmon, shrimp, baked potatoes and asparagus. Absolutely lovely host was just a message away with any questions. But we had few…everything we needed was there. Thank you!

Great dog friendly place to stay

Comfortable home even with primary residence attached! Owner was very accommodating. Comfortable bed, room for all our dogs to run around and place had everything we needed! Thanks again

Spacious and Clean

Property was very spacious, bed very comfortable. Owner was in friendly, regular contact and responded quickly to resolve a small issue. Neighborhood is hilly and green. Good choice if you do not need a full kitchen.

Cute, Quiet and Comfortable

We're so thankful we found this property to call home for 3+ weeks while our home is being remodeled. Trish is an amazing host and is great at making sure we had everything we needed for our stay while respecting our privacy. During these trying times not only did we live here but also had to work here as well. The desk in the corner next to the window is a great place to spend a day of endless conference calls. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. Our dog stayed with us and we enjoyed walking her around the area. Our favorite walk is down past the duck crossing then back up the hill past the nursery. Thanks again to Trish for the hospitality!

Tricia was super responsive. Clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay if you have family or friends near by and don’t need a full kitchen. Otherwise it’s nicely equipped. They are dog friendly and it’s near some great walking paths in Edgewood.

Although a bit out of the way the location is wonderful. Property manager is very nice and accommodating. I would reccomend this property and if in the area would rent again.
