The home was beautiful, as advertised and spotless. We had a blast. Relaxing week. Our only hiccup was not receiving prompt replies using text messages on the vrbo app. Had to use phone calls to follow up.

This house had everything we needed for 4 couples to enjoy. Loved that it is located on Lake Blue Ridge. We rented a pontoon boat from the marina, which wasn’t far from the house. The downstairs had lots of amenities we could use after a relaxing day on the water with a shuffleboard table, foosball table, and the bar area. The hot tub was another amenity we enjoyed. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend to others. We are already talking about planning our stay here for next year.

This home is lovely and super comfy! It feels like someone really thought about privacy with the blinds, fun activities for the kids, and everyday essentials. The beds were so comfy, and everyone slept great. The kids had a blast. The cleaning could have been a bit better—it was dusty, and the carpet had some pet pee and was smelly. The bathroom was a bit dirty, and there were a few broken things that needed fixing, like door knobs and bathroom hardware. But none of that really spoiled our stay in this lovely home. There’s definitely more good than bad about this cabin. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, probably because it’s on the lake. But it was raining, so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake as much as we’d hoped. But the grounds are nice.

Gorgeous property. We will definitely make this an annual trip. The entire home was clean and warming. The special Christmas touch was especially pleasant. Our entire family was impressed.

Family trip to Blue Ridge

We had a lovely stay at When In Rome. There was plenty of room for our large family. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace on the cool nights.

The house was wonderful because of its location, tranquility, and landscaping. The cleanliness was excellent. One detail that needs attention is the grill, whose electric ignition system didn't work, so we couldn't use it. However, I consider this a minor issue given the overall quality and excellent condition of the entire property. It's truly a place where we would love to vacation again.

Great stay

We traveled with a group of friends (3 couples) We all had so much space here. Each couple had an entire floor with a king bed and a bathroom so we were very comfortable. The covered porch overlooking the lake is great and we spent a lot of time there. Kitchen was well stocked, AC worked well, and the beds were comfortable. Good swimming right off the dock. We would definitely stay again if we returned to the area!

Good size rental for large family, just many steps to lake!

Nice property, had an issues with air conditioning which finally got resolved 18 hours later!

Long Weekend Getaway

Great place, clean home, beautiful location! We get away for a long weekend each year with one of our favorite families. We each have 4 kids. There was plenty of space for all kids and adults to sleep comfortably, play games, cook, and relax. We were also in close proximity to a grocery store which was very convenient. We would definitely stay again!

Only issue we had was the code which was sent did not open the door. The deck door was unlocked so we entered that way and called to receive a new code

Our family had a wonderful day. The home is nicely equipped, especially the kitchen. We spent lots of time on the porch with beautiful views of the lake. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Those with mobility issues should be aware the house is a significant distance from the lake, requiring many steps. Also, if you plan to swim in the lake and spend time on the dock, you need to bring floats and chairs.
