Enough space for everyone to be together, and enough room for personal space and time. Gracious host provided easy check in. A pickleball court is painted in a nearby cul de sac that is available for use. Parking easily accommodates 4 vehicles. A nice, spacious cabin with a view of the lake.

Great for multiple families

We had 3 immediate families stay at this wonderful home. We go to Blue Ridge often and the location is unparalleled. The lakeview, Mountain View, and proximity to town is hard to beat - also, very clean!

This house is very nice! The location is amazing. The house is very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked with nice touches. The gameroom is great for kids as well. A few updates could make a huge difference. The toilets are stained and really need to be replaced. The towels smell very musty after one use and just need new ones. The main floor AC does not get the upstairs very cool and the rooms stay warm and the rules keep it from going below 68. We are used to sleeping cold and the rooms felt 74/75. Overall, very pleased with the property and would come back. The host were very responsive and kind.

Family Christmas getaway

Perfect Friends Weekend Getaway!

We had a group of couples staying for the weekend. The property was the perfect place for our getaway, with fantastic amenities to keep us busy, a well stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms! We had the best time and will definitely be back!

Great for families

Was a perfect home for a family or families with multiple kids. Only small issue was the hot tub wasn’t available due to it being dirty.

Perfect post Thanksgiving get together

The cabin was so cozy, and made us all feel so happy and together. The layout was great, and we all had plenty of private spaces and common spaces. The kitchen is nice and very well stocked with any possible cooking implement. Would happily stay again!! Great views!

this is a beautiful property and the rooms are arranged very well for a .It just needs some TLC. All the mattresses need to be replaced. We left a night early because all beds were so uncomfortable. Doors all squeak, simple things that just with a little attention to make this a stellar property!

our stay

The porch furniture and cushions were not clean. There was no information about local activities and things to do and no manual concerning the property and its use. the ping pong table that appears in the photos is not a real ping pong table and should be replaced with one. More lamps should be in the living area. Don't ask people to bring toilet paper and paper products - the daily fees should cover those items. The interior of the house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Tea bags should have been provided. We were not advised until the day before occupancy that the lease had not been signed and I had to call to find that out.

Great house with one big thing to understand in advance

Most important review item. The description clearly shows that the house is not on the lake; it is one street up the hill. The pictures do show that you can see the lake from the house. However, we now see that those pictures were taken in the winter with no leaves on the trees. We were there in May, and there are leaves on the trees resulting in no real view of the lake at all. If that’s important to you, look elsewhere. The interior pictures of the house are very accurate. Great things about the property. The inside was very clean. It’s a huge house with lots of sitting areas, beds, etc. making it great for large/multi family gatherings. There are plenty of games to entertain children. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware. Interestingly, they had three systems for making coffee: Keurig (with pods provided), drip coffee (filters provided), and equipment to do pour-overs. Pretty limited on spices, oils, and other pantry items needed to cook meals; bring your own. Things that need immediate attention. The hot tub needs a thorough cleaning as it had a brown film on the bottom of the tub. We did not feel comfortable using it in that condition. There are no usable darts for the dart board. The foosball table playing surface is warped. They ought to tone down with the “we’ll charge you $250 if you don’t take out the trash” paperwork inside the house.
