We want you to know you are on vacation! 3,000+ sq ft Sleeps 14 easily and LIVES LARGE offering room and privacy for long stays and large groups. Enjoy desirable afternoon shade, wide open Little Bay Views, GREAT FISHING from the dock and the Key Allegro POOL is so convenient just a short walk! Room for parking 8 -10 vehicles, multi boats, and watercraft. COMFY beds: 2 King Beds, 2 Queen Beds, 4 Double Futons and 1 Queen Pull out memory foam couch. The centerpiece of this vacation paradise is MASSIVE open living/dining& kitchen with soaring ceiling for family and friends to gather; dining table and eating bar seats 14 all overlooking wide open Little Bay. For those who love to cook & entertain-Gourmet kitchen with gas range, wine refrigerator, coffee nook, and kitchen and bar sinks (nice tableware glasses and plates). Upstairs and downstairs covered decks and roomy yard. Outdoor bar, Gas Grill, Outdoor sink and refrigerator and outdoor seating for 14. Separate bonus room down stairs plus private bungalow. Annual Family Trip

Returned to the Mermaid House for our annual Summer trip to Rockport. This is a wonderful property and the hosts are fantastic. This was our 3rd stay at the property and we hope to return many more times.

We love this house!

This house accommodates our family so well! It is so spacious and is in the best location in Key Allegro. It is the only house my family will stay when we visit Rockport. Great memories made there!!

Annual Summer Family Trip

The 2024 family trip was a huge success and the Mermaid House was a big part of that success. The house was perfect and the paddle boards and kayaks were huge hits. The hosts are fantastic and the overall experience couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend this property!

Birthday get together

Had a great time celebrating a birthday get together with friends in Rockport. House is amazing, plenty of room to gather with a large group. Enjoyed the kayaks and bicycles too!

Wonderful Place to stay in Rockport

Everything thing is updated and clean. Wonderful sunset view from the balcony or back porch. This place is completely stocked with everything you need. Lots of open spaces for everyone to comfortly hang out.

Amazing view

The best thing we enjoyed about the home is the view of Little Bay. This is our second VRBO stay in Rockport this summer and the house fit our needs well. The paddle boards and kayaks were enjoyed, just don’t forget your life jackets!

The Ritz of Rockport

Like all mermaids, the house is a thing of beauty to be experienced. The porch is blessed with an ever present breeze. The family was perpetually happy here. Hope to return.

Spacious, Stylish, and Family-Friendly

The house was absolutely beautiful and offered plenty of space for both relaxing and spending time together in the shared areas. We especially loved the kitchen, dining, and living room area—with its stunning view of the bay, it quickly became our favorite spot.It was perfect for our toddlers too—they had space to play nearby while we prepared meals. The home was spotless, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent—they responded promptly and were always helpful. We had a wonderful stay!

The Mermaid House

We had a fantastic time here! Loved everything about the place. Had plenty of room for our family of 11. We used the kayaks and paddleboard and loved going up and down the canals and into the Bay area. Had lots of beach toys and chairs to use too. Perfect area to vacation at. It was a little tricky locking the front door, but we got it to lock. The back patio cabinet area could have been cleaner but overall a fabulous place to stay on vacation. Highly recommend!

Great Time at The Mermaid House

Had an amazing time at The Mermaid House. We had 12 people staying from 3 generations ages 17-85. Wonderful place right on the water. The community pool was a few blocks away and close to the beach where our family reunion was located. The kitchen and dining area were great for family meals and some games. The master bath shower pressure was so great that others were going in to shower and the claw foot tub made my wife very very happy. Great place to stay. Thanks

Beautiful house with wonderful hosts

We absolutely loved our stay! We had a last minute trip planned with our large family and Craig’s house was available. Craig was very accommodating and flexible to assist with checking in just a bit earlier since the house was available. And what a wonderful house, it had everything we needed and more, brand new, clean, kid-friendly and just great. We loved being right on the water as my husband and my son were fishing off the dock the whole time when we were not on the beach, which is only a few min drive away, as well as grocery stores, restaurants, and everything else. Great house, great location, amazing people. Thank you for sharing your home with us, Craig and Mimi!

The Ritz of Rockport

We were blown away by The Mermaid House! It is the quintessential vacation home for family and friends. Artfully designed and decorated with ample seating and dining areas, we felt at home the minute we walked in. Thanks to the generosity of the owners, we enjoyed the kayaks and boards. This is a house to be experienced. And the porch with its view is sublime. I only wished for a few hooks in the closet/bath area. You will love this house!

Fun Family Getaway

We had the best week at the Mermaid House! The location was perfect and had a great view of the bay! The house was open and spacious, and perfect for cooking and hanging out. There were kayaks and paddle boards which we enjoyed using! The house even had a water table and beach toys for our baby! We can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful home!

This property is a beautiful home in an amazing location. The host is very responsive and helpful. It is a perfect home for a large group/family - plenty of room to sleep everyone and great spaces for entertaining/gathering. The kitchen is well stocked and has high end appliances. Truly a perfect vacation home!

Family Trip 2022

We take an annual family trip to Rockport each summer with our kids and grand kids. The Mermaid House was perfect and we plan to make it a part of the tradition. The accommodations were excellent and we couldn't ask for a better experience.

Love it!

This property is one of the best. Location is fabulous and it is large and so thoughtfully and tastefully done. We had 4 generation over the New Yeats Holiday and enjoyed the inside and the outside amenities to the fullest. There are great areas for everyone to gather, but also plenty of bedrooms for privacy. Kitchen is very well stocked and has everything you need. We will be back.
