The two (2) bedroom and two baths apartment is in Chueca, one of the nicest and trendiest neighborhoods in Madrid. Walk to the main street Gran Via. It's near the Prado the Thyssen and the Reina Sofia Museums, Puerta del Sol and Parque del Retiro. The Mercado de San Anton is at the end of our street. It's surrounded by wonderful places to have tapas and a glass of wine. You are going to Love the apartment and our location.

Wonderful apt in great neighborhood

Loved this property. Nisbeth met us as expected. Even though my Spanish is not good and her English limited everything was adequately communicated. There were good eating choices close by and we walked to the prado easily. It was all charming

Madrid Stay

The apartment was great! Easy check in and very comfortable and clean! Our host was exceptional! Responded quickly to any questions and gave great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The location is wonderful we were with in walking distance to everything! We would definitely stay there again.

Had a great time. Everything as advertised. Right smack in the middle of everything. Great host!Cannot go wrong with this place. My wife and our friends already asked me if I could get this place again. That’s saying something.

Great Spot

This location is perfect. Walk to museums, Sol. Plaza Mayor, Retiro, Royal Palace. Groceries around the corner. And metro stop 3 minutes away. Communication with the host was excellent! The only downside is the couch could use a good cleaning or replacement. I would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely apartment in great location!

This apartment is wonderful and the location is terrific! My husband, adult daughters, and I were comfortable, and the place was clean and cozy. As others have commented, one nice feature is the quiet. There are a number of restaurants and a metro stop quite close to the apartment which is very convenient. We especially loved La Taberna Carmencita for a wonderful dinner (not inexpensive but worth it). The guidbook provided by the host was very helpful.There are a few things that can be improved: 1) one towel had dark stains all over it, and our fitted sheet had a small stain as well, so these should be replaced, 2) one of the lightswitch covers in the living room was broken, and most important, 3) although the guidebook says you can walk to the apartment from the Atocha train station in about 15 minutes, and it is actually 28 minutes (all 4 of us are active and fit and were walking quickly, only pulling small carry-on bags). Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but Gorete, the host messaged me that Nisbeth, the cleaning person had to go let guests into a different apartmen. We were racing there to meet her, and it was quite stressful wondering if we would be let in. Thankfully, we made it in time.Communication was a problem as Gorete didn't respond to my questions regarding transportation. She initially apologized for the delay, saying she had guests for brunch, but she never responded to my last message at all. This has never happened to us with VRBO before.

Great property in an amazing neighborhood

Great time in Madrid

Great apartment and very great location. Walk to all major sites. Tons of restaurants right out the front door and a grocery store not even 2 blocks away. Will stay there again next time I am in Spain. Great host as well.

Great Location and Lovely Property

We enjoyed this apartment! The location was excellent. We dined at several local places that were just steps away. We were able to walk to most areas we were interested in. The property itself is lovely. Updated, spotless, and well equipped. We did wish there was more outside light through windows, but it wasn’t a major issue.

Excellent Vacation!

Stayed with here with family on vacation. The apartment checks every box with the exception of a view. The details were thoughtful and appreciated. Wonderful location- walkable to all tourist destinations. Comfortable beds, clean, plenty of space, quiet. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Cozy, comfortable and convenient sanctuary

Gorete’s apartment, conveniently located in Cheuca, more than met our needs. It is in a quiet building, internal facing so limited daylight and no street noise. Given the blistering heat outside, the cool and dark interiors were a welcomed feature. Mattresses and linens are high quality and fresh/newer. Furniture and decor are tasteful and contemporary. Communication with Gorete was friendly and early check in with Nisbeth was a breeze. Around the corner is Larroceria, a small paella restaurant with genial staff and the most delicious food from start to finish. Thank you for opening your apartment to us, we’d love to come back.

Great location in Madrid!

This apartment is located in the Chueca area of Madrid. While it's within easy walking distance to the center of the city, it's much quieter and less busy and crowded. During our trip, one of our family members had a medical emergency and our host, Gorete, was a godsend! She provided information and support that was invaluable to us all - she truly went above and beyond and we will always have fond memories of Madrid because of her. As an FYI, there's a great little brunch spot right next door and, of course, several restaurants and grocery stores close by.

Great stay in Madrid

The trendy Chueca apartment in Madrid was a wonderful place for our visit to Madrid. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect for our 3 generation family group. We really appreciated the full kitchen and eating area as well as the in unit washer and dryer. It was thoughtfully appointed with all kinds of things that might be needed for a home away from home—laundry supplies, toiletries, some coffee pods to get started. The host was very responsive to our questions and checked in to make sure everything was good. The location was an amazing home base for exploring Madrid with Gran Via close and a metro stop to reach other parts of the city and beyond easily. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Rental for families

Beautiful property, great communication from host and great location. Plenty of bath towels provided, as well as toiletries, extra toilet paper, paper towels provided in kitchen. Our family of 5 felt right at home!

What a wonderful way to enjoy Madrid

This was a delightful spot and beautifully attended. The entry was a bit confusing and only having a single set of keys was sometimes inconvenient. The owner was fabulous, gave great recommendations, and was quick to respond to questions. Could not have been a nicer place for us to stay.

Nice apartment, nice location, personalized touch.

Host/owner provided excellent info. Personalized reception at check-in was nice. Apartment was faithful to online description and pictures. Short walk to Gran Via and San Anton market. Door locks difficult to open. 1 towel per adult for 5 days. Dust bunnies under bed.

Family with two older teens in Spain

It worked perfectly for our needs. Location was great, and a quiet space as well. Close to everything we wanted. Enough space that we could all have a little space but still be together as a family.

Great location!

This place was in an excellent location. Close to a lot of major sites within walking distance. The neighborhood was perfect for restaurants, shopping, and coffee. The host was wonderful and we hope to come again soon!

Magnifique quartier

L'appartement est située dans un splendide quartier. Au bout de la rue se situent le métro et les bus nécessaires pour découvrir la ville. Il est facile de faire signe à un taxi. Il est aussi possible de découvrir la ville à pied sans problème. Il est mis à la disposition des locataires les produits d'hygiènes nécessaires (shampooing, gel douche...). La propriétaire s'est montrée très réactive et agréable lors des différents échanges. Il est à noter que les fenêtres de l'appartement donnent sur une petite court intérieure ou se trouvent la cage d'ascenseur et les climatisations, ce qui la nuit a engendré des soucis sonores au niveau de la plus petite des chambres.
