We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House suited our needs with extended family staying and as well as 2 dogs.We made use of the various spacious garden due to the lovely weather last week.The nearby beach is a lovely local trip but just be careful where you park

Caroline's house is right in the heart of Sligo, close to many walks, scenic spots and beautiful beaches. The property is spacious, very comfy, warm and has all the things you need for your stay. Communication was always timely enough. We will ne back to exolore more of this gorgeous corner of Ireland.

The house had everything that we needed. It was easy to find and also the house was between Sligo and Donegal. I would recommend the house to anyone.

Perfect location for exploration and peace

We drove in from Newcastle and found the house to be perfect for our needs. Comfortable with everything we needed and the grocery store within walking distance. Caroline was so easy to communicate with and extremely agreeable. Will definitely want to to stay there again!

The home is cozy and was well equipped for our needs. We loved the views from the windows and the fenced yard for our pup. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable to the supervalu, restaurants and a lovely children's park. The working fireplace was also a favorite at the end of the day. There was a minor misunderstanding with getting the hot water going but Caroline communicated promptly and all was made clear and working. I would stay here again and would recommend the property to friends.

PARA LLORAR

Lo peor que me encontrado en años. La casa SUCIA, con comida caducadaen la nevera desde hacía meses, un olor pestilente pues el cubo de la basura estaba lleno. Enseres de no se sabe quien por toda la casa. Los cajones llenos de objetos personales bragas, medicinas... el cesto de la ropa sucia también lleno. La lavadora llena de ropa. Las camas sin hacer. El hueso del perro encima de la mesa de la tv. Los muebles empaquetados con plásticos porque parece que iban a pintar....etc etc etc... Para acceder a la casa nos dieron una contraseña errónea y despúes de entrar por fin a la caza la propietaria nunca más se puso en co tacto con nosotros. Estamos esperando a que nos devuelva todo el dinero. Por otro lado la actuación de HomeAway EXCELENTE

Unfortunately there seems to be cultural differences between the UK and Spain. In the UK owners tend to leave condiments that are in date in the fridge for clients to use, asking them to replensih if used up. This also applies to cereals and dry goods such as pasta etc. Beds are also made up for the guests. This does not appear to be the case in Spain where after a rental all items in the fridge etc are removed. Also clean sheets etc are left on top of the beds for the guests to make the beds. Hence the confusion. Dust covers are put on all furniture items when the property is left vacant for a while. All was need was for these to be removed. All instructions were in English with regards to the house as these guests had limited English it proved to be a problem. We love our holiday home and guests, friends and family have loved staying here.

Lovely house, convenient to beaches and town

It went well. Hitch with key box but was sorted as promptly as one could. Useful if emergency contact number provided though in future.

Few improvements could make a big difference

Overall, a good place to stay. A few minor issues. Back lawn needs to be mowed. Lined curtains or blackout blinds needed as front of house gets v bright early in the morning.

Great base for nearby exploring

Easy check-in, convenient location for walking into nearby village and short drive from gorgeous Streedagh Beach and Benbulben, as well as being close to Sligo, Mullaghmore Beach, Glencar Waterfall, Bundoran and Rossnowlagh. We even made it out to Strandhill, Rosses Point and Easky!

Ideal spot

Fantastic property in an ideal location, very clean home away from home, highly recommend it, selection of dvd’s was a great option on a rainy day, will definitely be back

Very good host, great location

We rent this property for 3 nights. Caroline is a very good host. She answered on all our questions. Location is great. A view from bedroom is absolutely amazing. The ony thing that could be better is cleanliness. Kitchen utensils were very sticky. Except that everything was great.

No internet

It's a nice house. Needs some maintenance. Internet is mentioned on the homeawaysite and was for our group very important. But no internet. We talked to the neighbours about that. They said they had heard more complains from other guests. I don't know if it's a delibrate mistake on the part of the landlord, maybe not, but the mentioning of internet shoud be removed of the Homeawaysite. I tried to communicate with the landlord over this, asked for a compensation in costs (we had to rent another house) but I was called rude. I'm not a complainer, booked a lot of houses over the years and never had anything to complain about.

We are very sorry you feel this way. It has never been our intention to mislead anyone. This can be backed up in the reviews that we have received. If this was true I am sure that we would have had plenty of bad reviews. In fact people return for a second stay. It is all about communication, if it was so important wouldn’t you ask the question before booking and then we could clarify. At no time during the course of your stay did you indicate to us that it was a problem. It was only post your stay that you indicated you felt the need to move out ! This is quite extraordinary for the sake of wi fi which can be picked up from your smart phone. In future we would advise you to ask always the questions that are important to you prior to any booking. This avoids disappointment.

Grange

Had a very nice time in Grange. Lovely holiday home and lovely area.carolinevwas so good .we stayed in her house for 3 weeks..due to flooding in our house. Everything u want is there and neighborhood so safe . Moran's pub and Lang restaurant really nice. Super value and great takeaway. Streedagh beach ..5 my n from house. Thanks 😊 again. Really had a time considering all we were going through ,

Very well appointed house in a great location

The house was an ideal spot, handy for the local shops and bars/restaurants. The large enclosed garden to the rear of the property was ideal for our dogs to run and play in. The standard of equipment was high and the accommodation very comfortable. Our only criticism relates to the cleanliness of some of the kitchen equipment, in particular the oven and the hob.
