Unique creek front place is only 10-15 miles from State College and Penn State. Very comfortable, spacious and peaceful condo with high ceilings, balcony, full kitchen and awesome creek view right from the bedroom and living room. Washer and dryer are conveniently located in the bathroom closet. 10-15 minutes spectacular Mountain View drive to State College. Tussey Mountain Ski and Recreation area is just 20 minutes’ drive away. Property is privileged to be conveniently located at about the same distance to State College, Philipsburg and Black Moshannon State Park. Bald Eagle Creek could be reached with the fishing pole right from the balcony. Stocked and Rainbow trout, Smallmouth bass, Rock bass are yours if you are lucky to catch one. You could simply enjoy spectacular view of the creek and surrounding beauty sitting on the porch. The Way fruit farm in Stormstown is just 4 miles away. Skytop Mountain Golf Club is 3 miles away. Port Matilda Community Park is a mile away, Lykens Market /Gas station and Brother’s Pizza are less than a mile away. Walmart, Target, Wegmans about 10 miles away. Place is great for a getaway, vacation ,special occasion.

Spotless and convenient

The condo was spotless and a perfect location to get to State College for Ironman 70.3. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and the washer/dryer really came in handy. The creek was beautiful and wonderful for bird watching.

Port Matilda

We were in town for a Penn State football game and to revisit the campus and town. The unit was sufficient for our needs though if we had to spend significant time there we would have felt cramped.

Great Holiday Stay

Property was very clean - my highest priority when staying away from home. We were impressed at how stocked the kitchen was. We were able to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again if property is available for graduation weekend.

comfortable stay

The place is spacious for two people and has everything you would need for a short stay. There is a creek right behind the house, unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the deck. Also the owner was very responsive and the check-in process is easy and smooth.

Not enough stars!

I really wish there was a way to give a higher praise that people will realize. The property is immaculate, modern, and had everything I could have possibly asked for! I already requested it for next year! Irina (host) could not be more accommodating and soooo friendly! If you are staying in the area and have the chance to stay here, trust me you WILL thank yourself for choosing this property!

Port Matilda

The inside was very spacious and very clean. We had great furniture to relax and sleep on. Great kitchen area. Very out back was a great stream to view and listen to the calming waters. One mile to service station, pizza place and the Tavern that had great food and service. We really enjoyed our stay.

Grandparents mountain

We travel once or twice a year and this was by far the best experience we have had with the places we have stayed. We will definitely be booking with this wonderful woman again on our next trip. From the start she made us feel welcome and comfortable. The place was easy to find and was minutes away from state college The place was very clean and really peaceful on the back deck. Dan,who was on site in another unit at the time made our stay even more enjoyable by being knowledgable of the area and giving us great recommendations Thank you for a great experience,we look forward to next year!

Terrific.

We were in Happy Valley for a graduation and chose A VRBO property that was 15 minutes from Penn State. It was very quiet and much better than staying in a motel. Full kitchen, dining room, living room and a seperate bedroom, nice view of a small creek out back.

Lovely stream-side getaway

This property is just lovely! The decor inside is elegant, and we loved being so close to the stream outside! The host was gracious and welcoming. We forgot an item, and she agreed to mail it to us! How thoughtful! We will definitely be back again sometime!

Super comfortable dwelling

We stayed here for an entire month while waiting to close on our new house and this truly felt like a home away from home. We did not want to leave! Everything is as pictured and Irene was an exceptionable host and very easy to communicate with. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!
