Let this relaxing well-equipped beach home be the classic vacation retreat you need. Enjoy the privacy of a wooded setting right next to the ocean (you may even see a deer in the backyard), very close to the local golf course and less then three miles from downtown Long Beach. Enjoy the downtown restaurants, beachfront horseback riding, ice cream shops, antiquing, bakery, movie theater, boardwalk, arcade for the kids and general entertainment.
Enjoy the spaciousness of the house to relax or entertain your group. Delight with an easy private walk to the beach leading out from our large secluded back yard. Have summer cookouts on the deck or just relax and enjoy the ocean views and breeze. Let the kids or dogs play in the spacious back yard, which is encased in bushes and trees for the ultimate in privacy.
The whole group will sleep well with a pillow top king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen size bed in the second bedroom, a bunk bed (twin mattress up top and fold out full size futon on the bottom) in the third bedroom, plus a bonus full size futon in the living room. You can have all your friends and family share its ample space with plenty of room for relaxing or entertaining. Use our large expandable dining room table to seat your entire party for a getaway dinner. Curl up with a book and relax on the couch on those cool winter nights. Play games, test your skill on a puzzle or simply relax and read a nice book from our large collection.
Historically known as a fishing and clamming area, the Long Beach Peninsula now also boasts whale watching, fishing charters (inland and ocean), hiking, boating & kayaking. Enjoy easy access to Cape Disappointment in the south end of the peninsula, Ledbetter Point on the north end, Willapa Bay, the Port of Illwaco and Fort Canby State Park in nearby historic Astoria right across the river

A little further to the beach then we thought. Grill was charcoal with only enough charcoal for one use. Some dog poop around property and kitchen countertops could have been a little cleaner. Right next to the highway, so some traffic noise. A nice big space with lots of amenities. We really enjoyed the fire pit and privacy.

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO in Long Beach! The home was beautifully decorated with charming beachy accents and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. The hike to the beach offered stunning views of local wildlife, and once there, it almost felt like we had our own private stretch of sand. Spotting deer and pelicans made it even more special. We will definitely be returning to this home for future getaways!

Very nice home that easily accommodated 5 adults, a toddler and 2 dogs. We loved the forest walk to the beach and it was beautiful to be a bit north of the main beach.

Wonderful place! It had everything you could possibly need for a stay at the beach, including things for your dog(we did not bring a dog). The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. It was great to have such a nice washing machine and dryer to use, too. The beds were all comfortable, and had nice bedding. The area was very quiet at night. The upstairs bedrooms shared a pass-through bathroom. Overall, it was just a really nice place to stay, and we intend to stay there again. It’s outside of town but just a few minutes drive to get there, which was great. All the fun, with all the comforts of home. We can’t wait to go back.There was a really nice deck, and below that was a very large grassy area with a fire pit, which we enjoyed a lot. The path to the beach wound through the pines, and what a view once you arrive at the beach. My grandsons enjoyed combing the beach most of all. Although you can’t see the ocean from the house, you can hear it, which is always pleasant.

Environmentally sensitive design as home is setback from the ocean dunes buffered by a beautiful forest. The walk is quite serene via a meandering trail on relatively level ground. One needs to be able to walk about 1/4 mile to the beach.

Awesome place

We had a wonderful time at this place with the family, slept 7 comfortably. The backyard is a plus plus, quite and surrounded by trees and can hear the surf crashing in the background! The house is beautiful inside and a marvelous kitchen to cook in!

Perfect

This was such a perfect getaway for our family. We brought the dog and walked on the beach many times every day. Even though it was clamming season, the beach is so wide and long it still felt like we had it to ourselves. It was a short walk through pines and dunes, and although you can't see the ocean from the property, you can hear it. The yard is surrounded by trees, and the birds and deer made us feel like we were in the mountains. It is nice and quiet at night, yet only a short drive to town and gorgeous lighthouse walks. The home has everything you might need, and was clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Beach House

The Host was easy to communicate with. Finding the place was easy as the instructions were simple and easy to follow. Access was simple even in the dark. The house is clean and well appointed. We deck and yard are very welcoming. I would easily stay again.

This place is amazing. The house is so clean and comfortable. I appreciate that they love dogs as much as we do. Weather was perfect, grilled some oysters on the BBQ, and visited with friends. We will be back !!!

Lovely beach house

Spacious home and well stocked kitchen, just as described in the listing. We enjoyed our stay - and the walk to the beach for razor clams. The deck was perfect for afternoon relaxation and reading. Quiet neighborhood. Looks like fun for summer, too. Would stay again!
