Cozy, secluded, and well-stocked cottage!

This cottage is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Some highlights that made it a wonderful place to stay: a comfortable bed, a fully-stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook our meals, a large shower with rainfall showerhead, an electric fireplace that provided heat and atmosphere, a huge screen and projector for watching movies and TV, a "Movie Hut" with hundreds of DVDs and Blu-Rays to choose from (along with TONS of board games)...the list goes on. The cottage was extremely clean, cozy, and homey. We even got to briefly meet Kini, the owners' friendly dog. This was a fantastic place for a secluded getaway.

Perfect Spot!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay in this very private and peaceful cottage. The place was so cute- comfy and homey with a wonderful bed, rain shower, and everything you would need. Super clean. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the movie collection! We hope to return someday- Thanks Nick and Duane!

Wonderful hosts and wonderful space!

This was a perfect getaway in the forest. The unit is very clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. They’ve thought about every detail to make the space most comfortable. I worked remotely all week and the wifi was great! Kini is also the sweetest dog. I’d love staying here again anytime!

Peaceful Cabin Living!

We loved everything about this property -- the lovely porch, the magnificent trees, the projector television, the movie hut, and the roomy bathroom all combined nature and comfort in the perfect way. Duane and Nick were excellent hosts, very communicative, and we were so excited to meet and play stick with their adorable retriever, Kini! We love this part of Washington, and hope to be back!

Living the Dream

The on-site owners have done wonderful things here. The cottage is a perfect retreat for two. The economical floor plan accommodates a bathroom/laundry, kitchen with eating bar, sitting area with a large screen television, and bedroom. It was squeaky clean and amazingly well equipped. So many little extras like the film library, well stocked game closet, a first aid kit, and even cumin! The outdoor spaces are similarly well thought out with a comfy porch and rocking chairs, hammock, picnic table and lawn games. The location at the end of a private drive off of a dead end road is very quiet and secluded feeling. The owners ensured we were comfortably checked-in by text, then ensured our privacy. A pleasant surprise was the Flaming Gorge State Park, a beautiful spot, just a couple miles away. Don't miss it!

Amazing Place

A beautiful romantic getaway

A very well designed cozy little house tucked in Nature's beautiful paradise!! The game/dvd's are located in the cutest little tree house!! There was enough movies to be stranded in this gorgeous paradise to keep you entertained for years! The movies were over the top well organized by genre and title!! We definitely want to come back when we have more time to explore the hiking trails! The only downside was we could not find any quaint nice eating places. However, we found the cutest little bakery in town-- we felt like we walked right into a "Hallmark Movie!" They had the best hot chocolate!! A great little getaway before we had to fly home!

Cabin in the woods

Was great place to stay … quiet , clean & well maintained … just as described online. And the movie hut was AWESOME!!! Would stay again most definitely!!!!

Just an oasis in the woods

What a true visit in nature. The trees surround you while you have coffee on the deck. Great location to hiking trails but also amazing restaurants in the area. Nick recommended an Italian restaurant and was quite nice when we got to meet Kini, their dog. Thank you for making this cabin which is a true oasis.

Great place to stay in Black Diamond

Cozy, beautiful property that's located minutes from Black Diamond Gardens. We had a wedding at Black Diamond which makes this the ideal location to stay. Very quiet and beautiful.

Such a cute place!

We loved this cottage. Looks just like the pictures, is tastefully decorated, and was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed, such as shampoo and body wash, kitchen staples, extra blankets and pillows and air conditioning. Really appreciated the washer and dryer, as we packed minimally for this trip and needed to do laundry half way through. The cottage is in the woods, which we just loved. Enjoyed sitting on the porch on the rocking chairs and listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. Peaceful and charming. Would definitely stay here again!

Fun cottage in the woods

Serene cottage in the woods

We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay longer! Outdoor hammock, great front porch and sitting areas. Small space inside but adequate for 2-3. EVERYTHING was updated with such thoughtful touches... loved the variety of board games and movies! We had such a lovely time here... the forest surrounding this cottage made us feel we were hidden somewhere remote, but it was quite easy to get there!

Family weekend wedding

The cottage was perfect for our weekend wedding stay. Communication and check in were easy with the owners. The wooded grounds were well taken care of and the peaceful neighborhood offered a nice walk with little to no traffic in the morning. The cottage looked newly built and was clean, tastefully decorated and suited our needs for our weekend stay for a family event. The owners have left menus of nearby restaurants that were helpful along with a game/movie hut that we did not have time to explore. ( Though we did look for a crib board) We would stay again
