This cozy cabin is the perfect up north getaway for a short weekend or extended stay. Offering trails out the back door! A perfect place to unplug or stay connected with high speed True Stream internet. This little piece of heaven is a perfect place to stay!

Cabin is fully stocked for your convenience. Towels , linens, cooking utensils, firewood etc.

This property is shared with two other rental cabins on the property - 2677074 & 1238937, book them all for a big gathering! Sorry, NO PETS ALLOWED.

Cabin and property were great! Hosts were very quick to get back with answering questions before our stay and did a great job making sure everything was set for us. Would definitely stay again!

Another Great Stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and we had a great time. The property is quiet and has everything you would need for a great get away. Mark is a great host and I can’t wait to go back.

Fun long weekend stay with family

My family stayed at this wonderful red cabin with my sister-in-law and her family. We enjoyed our long weekend trip and made many memories. We've all talked about how fun it would be to take another trip here possibly with more family and book the other cabins on this property! It was a very peaceful location. The owner was very helpful and put a lot of thought into this property!

Serene Getaway

My friends and I had a lovely weekend staying at 'ole red'. Communication was great with Mark, the cabin was immaculate (indoors and outdoors) and trips to nearby beaches/Sturgeon River/Petoskey and Charlevoix were not long drives. We loved that the cabin was a bit off the beaten path and with lots of privacy. There is another cabin on the property, although, lots of space between and each property has its own fire pit, fire wood, picnic table and gazebo. I would recommend a stay at Sleeper's Heaven.

Dirtbiking/ORV Heaven

We found this property last minute and it was meant to be. There was a trail right from the cabin to the main trail to connect us to Tomahawk A,B, and C loops is what we came for. Cabin was more spacious than we expected and had no problem with 5 adults eating, sleeping, or showering (not running out of hot water with my wife is unbelievable). Beautiful kitchen and decor, extremely clean, definitely intend on coming back.

This was advertised as a one-bedroom property. However, there was no door to the bedroom! We booked the place because we have an 8-month-old and wanted him to be able to sleep in a separate space from the rest of the family so that he wouldn't wake everyone up in the night. However, since there was no door to the bedroom, no one slept either night we were there. The host has refused to acknowledge the false advertising or provide any sort of refund.

This cabin does have one bedroom. It has a double bunk on one side of the bedroom and a single bunk on the other. Sleeping a maximum of five. The bedroom is down a short hallway, beyond the bathroom, and has a doorway opening. No door. Our welcome email sent on the day of arrival and welcome letter in the cabin both invite the guest to contact us, the host, if you need anything at all, as we live right across the road and are happy to accommodate any requests. This guest never contacted us. About a week after their departure, we received an email inquiry from VRBO directly. This may have been able to be resolved, as we have other cabins on the property. We take pride in our quaint secluded properties and wish that this could have been handled between us, the guest and the host.

Great house and location

Loved that there are 2 additional houses on the property so if you had a few families everyone would have there own house. Owner was super helpful and nice. Home was immaculate.

Felt right at home

The cabin was so clean & cozy! We loved being surrounded by nature. We celebrated Christmas there and they even had a tree up for us! Fireplace was amazing and the beds were comfortable. We definitely want to go back another time!

Wonderful get away!!

We had an amazing color tour experience. Still smiling ,we pulled up…..Ole Red did not disappoint. Upon arrival to departure, this owner Mark, has thought of everything!

We loved this cabin, and Mark's hospitality. It's out in the sticks, but only about 10 mins from the big cities. Great host, great property, would love to be back!

SO COZY!

The cabin was the coziest little place, with the perfect amount of space! It fit 7 comfortably and could have fit more if need be! The property owner was a fantastic host, and everything was so cleanly and well kept! Very impressed! Only 20 minute drive to downtown Petoskey, and the state park!
