Außergewöhnlich schöne Urlaubswoche

Sarah und John sind ganz außergewöhnlich liebenswürdige Gastgeber die einem sofort das Gefühl geben willkommen zu sein. Das Anwesen mit sehr gepflegtem englischen Park, einem riesigen Teich mit Fischen und Enten lädt zum ruhigen verweilen ein. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und gepflegt, alles ist perfekt organisiert, der Wintergarten bietet einen tollen Ausblick bis hin zum Meer. Eine hübsche kleine Bucht mit Strand ist in 7 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. In jeder Beziehung ist dieses Domizil eine 5* Empfehlung.

Fantastic stay with lovely hosts

We had a lovely week in Pond Cottage. The views were stunning, the grounds were beautiful and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts John and Sarah. The cottage was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The treats waiting for us on our arrival were very welcome. We would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Pond Cottage.

Beautiful garden, fabulous cottage, perfect hosts!!

The first impression of Pond Cottage is stunning! Surrounded by spectacular gardens and a delightful pond with it's resident moorhen family, the view down the valley to the sea is just an added bonus! The cottage is impeccably clean and beautifully presented, with lots of little extra comforts and much appreciated treats. The fabulous conservatory is the perfect place to read a book, have a cuppa and just soak in the view. Sarah and John are perfect hosts and really go that extra mile to make sure you have a wonderful, relaxing experience. This is the best accommodation we have found in Cornwall and we will definitely return to the haven of Pond Cottage on our next visit. Many, many thanks to both Sarah and John. Unsere beste Unterkunft in Cornwall

Ein wundervoller Blick auf das Meer, mit fantastischem Garten und sehr guter Unterkunft. Diese saubere, geräumige und überaus gut eingerichtete Unterkunft hat wirklich die 5 Sterne verdient und ist auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen. Hierüber nochmal ein Dankeschön an die netten Gastgeber!

Definitely worth the five stars

Perfect location, fantastic converted stable. Plenty of space for two. The conservatory makes it special, even a rainy day is not a spoiled day. The owners were very helpful and their proposals where to go and what to do made it easy for us to have a great time on the Lizard. No need to hesitate. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Beautiful view, immaculate cottage in pristine garden

The cottage was well-equipped and spacious for 2 people thanks to the recently-added sunroom. It also had outdoor seating and dining areas, and we were free to wander the beautifully-kept gardens. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and glad to recommed local walks and places to visit. If there are any drawbacks at all, the only pub within walking distance (Five Pilchards, Porthallow, using a woodland path which could be muddy in wet weather) is adequate but no more for food, so eating out requires a car and nearby St Keverne only has limited choices. This worked for us as we were happy to eat out at lunch and dine at home in the evening; we would recommend others to do this.
