Relax gazing at the lake from your living room or walk out back and toss in a line. This lake is filled with Bass, Pickerel and much more. We offer a two bedroom little cottage right on the water. This comes with two bathrooms and the best living room view one can find. The lake is visible from the Guest bedroom, the kitchen, Dining Room and just about everywhere you walk in this Lake Community. Bring your bicycles or your hiking shoes. The Burger Barn and the Chicken King are just some of the local eateries that are favored in Hernando FL.

Comfortable and quaint

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. My favorite part was waking up and watching the fish jump in the lake every morning while having coffee. So peaceful and quiet. We hope to go back!

Everything was perfect. We had a pleasant stay and will certainly be back again. The only recommendation is to stabilize the dock so it does not wobble.

The Lakehouse

The Lakehouse was peaceful relaxing and it was everything as advertised. It had one of the best equipped kitchens that I have ever rented. Great place for anyone who likes being near the water. The view is fantastic and even though we don't boat or fish it served us well for golfing. We like to play several courses in Citrus and Marion County. We would definitely like to stay there again

Quick Overnighter

We were primarily interested in a day exploring the lake via our tandem kayak. We got in a 4 hour paddle around the beautiful lake before relaxing outside for awhile. Dinner nearby and a restful night followed. We'll plan a longer stay next time. The owners were helpful from the start and were KEY to our stay. Thanks !

great place to kick back from the hustle and bustle

The lakeview from the wall of windows in the living room was awesome. We enjoyed starting and ending our day watching birds, fishermen trolling by, an occasional otter swimming past, and playful squirrels running up and down the tree right outside the window. Would definitely consider coming back. There are numerous paved bike paths, golf courses and kayaking opportunities in the immediate area which is right up our alley.

Cozy and quiet getaway.

Nice family fun weekend. Home was very clean and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen to prepare your meals. Kids loved playing in the big backyard and waving at the boats that passed by. Nice sunset too!

We moved to Florida in 2000 and live in Homosassa. We have raised 7 children. We have had a small business for over 20 years and have been very blessed. We are very adventurous ourselves and enjoy staying at a VRBO when we travel also. We are very strong in our faith and put the Lord above everything in our lives. Other than that there is really nothing to brag about here.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Mom bought this house a while ago. She is now 79 and we are taking it over but have a house of our own and can not live in two places. We did not want to sell it since it is right on a lake and it makes a great place for us to relax at ourselves. Wanting to share this most majestic view with others so VRBO rentals seems like the perfect idea. Please come and stay and see why we love this house and location ourselves. We have caught Bass and Pickerel right behind the house. There is nothing like catching fish and grilling them that evening for dinner. We believe you will get much needed relaxation while staying at our little bungalow on the lake.
