A galley kitchen makes fixing breakfast a breeze before you enjoy a day of cycling, skiing, or perfecting your golf game on the nearby Northstar Golf Course. In the bedroom you will find a queen bed and the living room boasts views of the run and a pull out sofa bed.
You will sleep well, too. A comfy queen-sized bed in the bedroom and offer you a restful sleep before you wake, again, ready to make your next day in Tahoe even better than your first.
The Northstar California Resort has everything from California cool to high-end luxury. Winter offers almost 100 trails and over 3,000 skiable acres. Summer at Northstar features an 18-hole championship golf course, recreation center with a large family pool, adult lap pool, exercise center, tennis courts, kids play area (including a bungee trampoline), and countless biking or hiking trails. In addition, Lake Tahoe is only 10 minutes from your door. A community shuttle is available year round to take you to the ski lift, the golf course and The Village at Northstar. All of our properties are strictly non smoking.
There is no street parking during winter months of November thru April due to snow removal procedures.
Most Tahoe homes are not equipped with A/C, however there is rarely a need. On extra hot days simply open the windows in the evening to let in the cool mountain air, then shut first thing in the morning. The trapped cool air will keep the home cooler throughout the day.
Due to drought conditions in California there may be a fire ban in effect during the time of your stay. Tahoe Truckee Vacation Properties will notify guests via email if a ban is in effect but please do your diligence and use common sense with any fire pit or bbq.
Be bear aware! A fed bear is a dead bear. Do not leave any food inside your vehicles, on the deck or bbq, or any place a bear may gain access. Please utilize bear bins for trash disposal and do not leave in the home or garage. Should you have a bear encounter requiring attention please call The Bear League at 530.525.PAWS
Please note there is an additional pet fee for pet friendly homes.
