Cute condo. Nice location- near beach, trails, mini golf, and eats. Nice hot tubs and clubhouse. Pool was closed for the season and that was not noted in the listing for September. Over all cleaning was good, but the carpet in the downstairs bedroom needs a deep clean (very dirty) and the bedspreads are old and the upstairs bespread is stained. Couch downstairs is old and worn. Kitchen was nice for those that like to cook.

It would have been nice if there had been foil, plastic wrap, etc, but not a big deal.However, we couldn’t access the fireplace gas starter. Plumber came and said the starter key was the wrong size. Would address it after we left. It would have been nice if we’d been able to have a wood fire. Also, providing a starter supply of wood would be an appreciated touch.

Perfect for our family of 4

Very clean and had everything we needed. Our kids loved having their own area in the loft, and the surrounding outdoor area was perfect for snow play.

Great Lake Tahoe location

We visited Carnelian Woods for a ski vacation. The property is located close to the highway that connects to the roads to the resorts. Also a quick walk across the street and you are at the lake's edge. Our stay was very comfortable.

Basics Please?

We enjoyed our stay, for the most part it was pleasant. We grilled a steak one night and the kitchen didn't have the basics, like salt and pepper, or any seasonings. Many VRBO's we've stayed in had at least the basic necessities to cook..

Works Well as Efficient Unit

Overall very good quality for the price. Positives: Very Efficient floor plan; Well equipped modern kitchen; 3 TVs; Loft Sofa bed works well if you need add two people; very quiet; good shower.Negatives: Tiny bedroom and closet; Uneven heat distribution...bedroom hot family room is cold; Bed mattress is uncomfortable; no dining table eat at bar only.

Quick Get-away

Property was fine but could use new fitted sheets and the sliding door is very hard to move. 10 am is an early time to check out when on vacation. The BBQ takes up too much room on the small deck. It could probably be removed since you can't use it. Just some thoughts, otherwise our stay was quiet, beautiful blue sky and close to lots of sights.

Comfortable and clean

The kitchen was very well equipped! Besides bed that is where I spent most of my time after getting back from the mountain. Bed was comfortable. The biggest issue is the hot water tank depleted very quickly. 5 min of hot shower and the temperature drops quickly after that. If you had a family all needing a shower they would need to space their showers out. Other than that it was a nice place. I would also point out that it is not as close to the lake as it seemed like it would be. Its a good 1/4 mi walk and across the street to lakefront. Evenstill i would stay here again. It was the best price available for the amenities i could find.

Great Location and Perfect for Family of Three

Easy walk to Patton Beach, Magic Carpet mini golf, Garwoods, etc.East access to north shore and west shore. We explored places we hadn’t been before.The rental had everything we needed. Wish we had more time to use the amenities which were great! We just had too many other things to do. Could see tweens and teens really enjoying these on their own.Overall this was great and as expected, really no complaints.A few suggestions for owners...-The king mattress really sinks on both sides so a new mattress is probably in order. -The stair railings were a bit wobbly so might need to be secured.-We had some trouble with the tvs and accessing what we wanted to watch. (It just wasn’t super clear so some in-unit tv instructions would have helped.)-We brought bikes and really had no place to store them. (We wound up just locking them to entryway railing, but might want to add info for bikes to the listing.)Again these are just suggestions. The unit was represented well and met our expectations for the most part. Thanks for a great week!

Awesome and clean condo. Great location. We have stayed in 15 many times and it is always great. If I would change anything I would put a nice bed upstairs. Pullout couch was horribly uncomfortable night 1. We took the mattress off and put it on the floor the rest of the nights and slept well. Also upstairs bathroom needs some love. Im sure owners know this. Couple grand and done. All in all, considering what you guys pay for HOA, (just found out this trip). Great freakin condo. Thank you.

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The townhome was very clean and comfortable, the community pool was excellent and the proximity to the lake was very convenient. We would gladly stay here again.
