This quaint cottage boasts wood accents throughout that convey a warm setting, no matter how recently everyone visited the ocean. The home is set in a quieter part of town, perfect for those seeking a beach hideaway. There is even an outdoor deck so guests can take in the salty sea air.

What's nearby:
The beach can be accessed in a short walk to the west end of Braillier Street, where guests will find plenty of sand to explore. Head two miles north to Cannon Beach for dining options like Castaways and Irish Table. There are also numerous fine art galleries to explore. The gorgeous views of the Silver Point Interpretive Overlook are just under a mile away.

Beautiful Place

We absolutely loved staying here at this little house near Cannon Beach! The location was just perfect, not too far from any of the shops or hikes, but far enough away to feel like it was our own space. The house was obviously well taken care of, and it was only a short walk down the street to the beach, which we loved.

Beach access

You can not see the ocean from the house but it's right there. Just a short walk to the beach. I think it's the beat part of the beach. Least amount of people in the area when we were there in October. I hated to leave and come home.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

Although a bit dated, it’s very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The 2-queen beds are newer and comfortable. Except for a dishwasher this property has everything we needed to in a vacation rental.

Bring toilet paper

This two bedroom has firm but comfortable beds, an adequately supplied kitchen, and is located near the beach. However, you can’t walk to anything because it’s on the main road on the far south end of town. There was one roll of toilet paper for four people for four days, no extra blankets or soap, and the property is managed by Vacasa so you are on your own.

Perfect Little Beach Cottage

My children and I spent a week at the little blue cottage and it was the perfect spot to launch our daily adventures up and down the Oregon coast. Perfect size, everything we needed and just two blocks from the beach, was amazing!

Stay at Canon Beach

Great location, nice & clean! Needs some upgrades like a grill and Smart TV (we did buy and donate a few DVD's for future guests) and maybe a better coffee maker. Bring your own TP because we only had 3 rolls to last us 9 nights!!

Worst place I have ever stayed.

This was a dirty yucky place. I stayed for 19 days and this place is not for long term stays. I wouldn’t even stay here for a weekend had I known. This place is managed by VACASA and they tried. It took over an hour and a half to get into the place and it was 7p when I arrived. I had driven 6+ hours and the code did not work. Once someone arrived all they kept saying the locks were new and they were having some trouble with them. Once inside, there were light bulbs out in the bedroom and by the front door. I carried all my things in and wanted to go straight to bed and that was when I realized the place had not been cleaned! After having a terrible night sleep, I carried all my things back out. I contacted VACASA and they sent someone to clean the joint. I was able to return again at 4p to move back in. The place just felt gross. I washed all the dishes I was going to use and all the silverware and arranged the drawers and cabinets. Everything was a mess. The next day (day 3), they brought me new frying pans because the existing ones were disgusting. Like I said they tried. I washed all the bedding and towels before I used them. The back deck is right next to Highway 101 and existed of two green plastic chairs with a matching green plastic side table that was turned on its side. Not inviting in the least. This appears to be a cash cow for the owner. There is no love or warmth to this place. I put a new battery in the kitchen clock. The sofa pillows need to be replaced since there is barely any feathers in them anymore. One of the pillows on the chairs reeked of sweat and bo. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Modest home, great location.

We stayed at the Cottage on Hemlock street for two weeks over the Christmas holiday. Fantastic location just one block off the beach. The home is not fancy, but clean, well stocked, and has everything you could need for a longer stay. Great grocery store just down the road and walk to downtown Cannon Beach along the beach is 2 miles. My complaints: internet was useless, tv channel selection worthless - I would highly recommend at least providing a modern TV with USB ports so users can attach their personal device for watching something during winter storms (maybe not an issue in the summer). Other than those thing I would certainly stay here again. Great location, fair price for the area.

GREAT LOCATION TO WALK ON THE BEACH

Very nice house on the south (quiet) end of Cannon Beach. Three minute walk to the beach, from there you have miles of beautiful coast to explore. Haystack Rock is about 1.5 miles north. Great tide pools at low tide less than 1 mile south of the house. Another couple of miles and you will find a waterfall that flows onto the beach and into the ocean. The weather changes every minute and the views are spectacular. Very relaxing place to visit.

A Good Spot

The home was within a block and a half of what I think is a great beach and one that is not at all crowded. You can walk on the beach all the way to Haystack rock, if you’re into taking a long walk on the beach. The home looked like it had been recently refurbished and had everything you need.

Great location, recommend

I spent a month at the Hemlock cottage. The location was perfect: a couple of blocks to the beach and only a half mile from Fresh Foods grocery store, Sea Level Bakery+Coffee, and Mo’s restaurant (get the fish and chips and chowder!). I enjoyed the quiet and privacy. As a cat lover, I appreciated the cat art :) There were a few minor things that could have made the experience better. The kitchen was well-stocked, but the skillets were in bad shape. I bought a $20 skillet to use during my extended stay. A few light bulbs were burned out, including the porch light which made me a little uncomfortable when I was alone. Most rentals offer more cable channels or a way for renters to sign into their own Netflix. Fortunately, I brought my Roku and the TV was HDMI compatible. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend this rental.

Comfortable, convenient location

Enjoyed our stay - house was just right for the two of us. Beach within walking distance, and good market just down the road. Oh, excellent WiFi as well, faster than we have at home!

Comfortable House

The house was perfect, it was comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was conveniently close to grocery and only a one block walk to the beach. For the rental company I would make sure all rentals have instructions on what to do with garbage, and when is pick up day.

Great Location

We loved our time in this home. It's location was perfect for a quick walk to the miles of beach that it accessed. We loved that it was south of the higher traffic areas of Cannon Beach. We also appreciated the comfort it afforded us during the rainy days. The blue couch is amazing!

Just what we were looking for

Home had everything we needed at reasonable price. Bed was very comfortable and we were happy to find a place we could store our bikes. Perfect location if you prefer the quieter side of town; beach around the corner and easy driving access to the coast, hiking, biking, seafood.
