Come experience quiet solitude by the water at this remodeled, stylish apartment right on the shore of Floras Lake. You're sure to enjoy the stunning lake view through a large window facing the lake or from while sitting in lounge chairs on the decking in front. In winter, relax inside and watch for storms over the lake or head out for days of fun on the water in the summer months.

Wonderfully place to stay with lake views, which can be enjoyed both inside and out. Very comfortable and quiet. Nice to have an assigned parking space. Also experienced great communication. Would definitely stay here again.

A nice getaway

This was a nice, quiet place to stay. This apartment has a nice view of Floras lake and access to the lake and is not far from the beach. This was perfect for my needs.

The best bed! The decor was nice. We found several beaches nearby that we really enjoyed. It was difficult to find the property at checkin because the apartment address was not visible from the road. A nice neighbor showed us after we drove back and forth for some time. We wished there was a real kitchen, but we did use the coffee maker and the wifi. We had to go out for meals. Sitting by the lake was so peaceful and the area is lovely.

Lovely, updated apartment with a view

Expectations were met as description and arrival instructions were right on the mark. Wish we could've stayed another day or so. Enjoyed close proximity to the beach and exploring Lake Floras. Recommended!

I have stayed here several times over the years. It was awesome every time. There were issues with my health this time and my wife’s another and we had to cancel or change accommodations, they made it work for us. Thank you so much. We hope to plan a get away again within the next month and already know we will be back

Great little apartment on the lake

We had a great weekend in this apartment. It is the smallest of three rentals on the same property, in addition to a main house and a guest house. The apartment felt private despite being attached to the main house, and we had gorgeous lake views. The apartment has modern furnishings and is super clean. The property manager was very communicative and helped us with SUP rentals and any concerns we had. We would definitely stay here again! Note that (as advertised) this apartment is not really set up for cooking - it just has a kitchenette with a microwave and electric griddle. Suited us fine, as we were expecting this.

Great except for one thing

Beautiful apartment and setting. Absolutely flawless until our final morning when we turned on the microwave to heat up coffee made in the Kuerig. This appeared to blow a breaker in a breaker box that we could not access and impacted the hot water access for the shower. Luckily this all happened on our last morning so a shower wasn’t necessary. We left a message with the care taker before we left regarding the situation and he said he would follow up.

We’re sorry that there was an issue with the circuit on the last morning. We regret the inconvenience but would like to point out that the shower is on a separate circuit, so the hot water is not affected by this. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

Peaceful, modern, wonderful retreat.

Great communication, easy check in process. Everything is well explained. Very modern and clean. Best shower I have ever used in a hotel/ house. Loved it!! Has a small fridge and no stove/oven but has a great toaster oven , toaster and griddle. Has a K- cup machine and a few pods. Plenty of TP and paper towel. We bought our propane fire pit and sat in the private area in from of the apartment. Has some lawn furniture And we even caught a few Trout and Bass. No complaints. Would stay again.

Super great location if you like lakes. Would definitely stay here again

Just a couple of things that could be improved. The bathroom curtains should be taller/higher. Standing on the tops steps outside, if someone was taking a shower I could see them. You did mention there maybe noise if there were people in the main house and yes there was noise but it was a little louder than expected. We did notice some dry blood behind the bathroom door next to the door knob but we wiped it off. That kind of stuff shouldn't get missed. Over all it is a beautiful place, location and setting. Thanks for letting us stay.

Wonderful relaxing spot right on the lake and close to tons of beautiful features the Oregon coast has to offer. Hosts were very helpful, communicative and responsive. Highly recommend.

A little escape from reality

This apartment was great. It has a beautiful view of Floras Lake. We kayak on the lake and overall had a great time. The location is great. During these times it was great to have a safe, beautiful place to escape and enjoy ourselves.

Beautiful location right next to the lake.

The apartment is right next to the lake with a beautiful view from the dining table and a small deck for outdoor enjoyment. The Langlois are is a charming small community

Lovely Stay on the Lake

Absolutely beautiful location and property! The apartment is remodeled with extra nice touches! I don’t remember if the listing mentions this but there are a few deep steps that must be navigated going down from parking area/lawn to front door. No big deal for us, but could be an obstacle for some guests. Also it’s a kitchenette.

The lake was absolutely beautiful and the apartment was very clean and had a cozy layout.

The only issue we had was you couldn’t really cook big meals because all you have is a little toaster oven and a microwave. They do have a BBQ but you have to rent it. Also the fridge was really small so you couldn’t store very much food. Other then that the place was amazing and we’ve already recommended it to friends and family.

Thank you for your review. Your response regarding the small kitchenette surprised us. It is all explained in the listing description. Our guests appreciate the small kitchenette. Most guests go out to eat in the nice Restaurants nearby. They want to relax and not cook. This apartment was setup with this in mind. Yes, the BBQ is an option for a small fee which covers the extra cleaning. This way, we can keep the normal cleaning fee low because housekeeping doesn’t need to clean a large kitchen or BBQ.

Lovely Stay!

Had a lovely family vacation at the Lake Floras house. We opted to rent both the main house and apartment in order to give my Uncle some private space away from the rest of the family. He found the apartment to be perfect and thoroughly enjoyed his stay.

This beautiful lakefront vacation rental has a spectacular location on Floras Lake.
With a private boat dock, and a welcoming atmosphere, you will feel right at home here and ready for a wonderful Southern Oregon Coast adventure.

The apartment is located right on Floras Lake, so when you stay here you can enjoy both the nearby beach and the lake, which is a famously great place for kite boarding. The nearest city is the small community of Langlois, which is about 10 minutes away and has a great little market, though Port Orford is just 20 minutes to the south, and the larger Bandon is a scenic 25-minute drive north.

With the lake so close, you will want to spend your trip soaking in the sunshine, playing in the shallows, or maybe even kiteboarding around. Just north along the lake is a business that offers windsurfing and kite boarding rentals and lessons. You could also boat over to the west side of the lake and take a nice long stroll on the sandy beach while surrounded by the sights and sounds of the majestic Pacific Ocean!
