The Charlene cottage is part of the Halcyon estate, a property consisting of 3.5 acres with ~900 feet of private shoreline. It is fully furnished; you only need bring linens. Charlene is steps away from a dock to be used for your swimming, sunning & boat tie-up needs. Also on the property are a sandy beach, picnic tables, gazebo, dock space, fire pit, and sweeping views of the lake. Conveniently located off of Route 9N (Lake Shore Drive), Charlene is just one mile north of Lake George Village with its many restaurants, shops and events.

LOVED the setting. Canoe use was great. Downstairs bedroom was not welcoming. Too cold down there. Furnishings were dated. A bit dark inside. Great location close to town

We enjoyed the stay. Pet friendly was a plus. The stairs down to the lower level bedroom was a challenge, so if somewhat non-ambulatory, beware. The coffee pot's brewer section could use a good cleaning, as coffie had a funny taste. The view was fantastic. The grounds were very pleasant. Overall---very enjoyable.Ed S

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Becky’s cottage. The cottage is convenient to the village, but due to its location in the cove it feels private. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming area, dock space and lawn for yard games. Becky and her family were incredibly welcoming and kind. We hope to be back to enjoy this magical property again. Highly recommend!

I'm almost tempted to not give it 5 stars for everything because I don't want it to book up and then we can't go back:) The cottage was wonderful but the property is wow, left me speechless when I first saw it. Incredible views, multiple access points to the water including a small beach that my children could play on. I've been coming to Lake George all my life, but this stay was special.

Best vacation in a beautiful setting

Beautiful cottage and property, great location, went sailing and swimming every day from the sandy beach, couldn't have had a better relaxing vacation!

Perfect week at a perfect spot

Location and cottage were exactly what we were looking for….charm abound! Had a blast exploring the area, as well as spending hours in the water. Great spot for all ages!

Bob was most welcoming when we arrived as were the dogs, Lexi & Ivy. Accommodations were lovely as pictured. The property was amazing with breathtaking views.

Great place to stay

This was a wonderful place for our family’s first vacation. It is private but not far from everything. My children loved the grounds and we all had a great time exploring.

Came complete with some border collies to welcome us. I enjoyed a few stick throwing sessions. Only problem is that a few parts of the house (entrance to one of the bathrooms, stairs downstairs) can be a little tough to navigate. We were too early in the season to enjoy the water but the boat house looks beautifully equipped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The views from all over the property was outstanding and breath taking.We got a visit from Lisa who was very helpful and friendly. She provides a tour of the grounds. Stunning...highly recommend

Our host Becky and her family were very welcoming. It was a large property for our dog to run. So many beautiful views. Close to everything. Great hiking trails. Cottage had everything we needed.

Great find!

The lakefront property was truly stunning and the cottage was adorable. The house had everything we needed, and we loved that the house was dog friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Lake George property

We just loved staying at this property it’s picture perfect! The Charlotte cottage is adorable and Becky was very easy to communicate with. Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to return on the near future.

The Halcyon estate is family owned and loved. The property was originally purchased in the mid 1800's . The main house was built in 1890 and is still used by the family seven generations later.

The location and lake views from the property are ideal. We are located on a peninsula with a South facing view of Lake George village (perfect viewing for Lake George village fireworks on Thursday nights in the summer); views East and North across the lake to the mountains with great sunrises and moon rises.
