The house was exactly as advertised, in fact, it was better as the deck area was even bigger and nicer than the pictures. Host was wonderful and very accommodating. The view couldn’t be beat and the river was beautiful. Will definitely be coming back again!

We totally enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and Debbie was the perfect host. Fishing was excellent on the Hamilton Branch Creek and all the golf courses were superb.

What a treasure. The river view is worth the visit and it gets better from there. Plenty of room for 4 couples and some kids, too.Nice kitchen, with everything you need. Indoor and outdoor dining options. We grilled a couple of nights and dined out a few. There are not a lot of options for dining out but we enjoyed The Red Onion and would return.Hosts were great communicators and everything worked as expected. Could not ask for a better experience!

We loved this house - very clean, with all the amenities that’s perfect for a family vacation. Its location sits close to the water with beautiful views of the branch. Kids loved the pool/l table/ping pong table, big kitchen for meals, beautiful deck with a fire pit to enjoy sitting outside. Walking distance to the lake - water toys including kyaks and beach chairs for the lake were provided. We’ll definitely want to rent this house again next summer.

Wonderful Trip!

Debbie and Dave, are wonderful hosts! My family and I recently stayed at their river front home for a week of fishing, hiking and relaxing on the deck. We can’t thank them enough for our wonderful stay!

Great house and location!

We enjoyed a fantastic 4 nights at this house - boated daily and hung out at the house nightly. Debbie and her husband have everything you need for your stay - the ping pong table was a hit and we enjoyed hanging out on the deck listening to the river. They were excellent hosts and we would return again!

Beautiful house and location

I stayed here with several co-workers and the house was perfect! Lots of space and very clean. Getting into the house was easy and the host was responsive. The location is beautiful next to a river while also being close to the lake and town.

Lakes and Lassen

Property was comfortable for us friends to visit and hike in Lassen National Park and around Lake Almanor. Backyard deck was ideal for evening relaxation with the sound of the river flowing. Enjoyable stay overall!

Great accommodations

The property was a great fit for our family with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The kitchen was well equipped and the games, pool and ping pong table were fun. Unfortunately, we were placed under an evacuation warning after 2 nights due to the Dixie wild fire and had to leave.

Great experience

We booked the listing to use for a family vacation. The property was wonderful and definitely lived up to expectations. Debbie was very responsive when we had questions and we were sad to leave.

Wonderful winter getaway

This is a fantastic house! It's comfortable, homey and had a lot of space for our family to spread out. The ping pong table and pool table were a big hit for the crew. Debbie was a great host and wonderful to work with. We highly recommend this home and hope to come back!

River Roaring below house

Enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and the neighbor very nice. The river below the house was fantastic. The owners are on site all the time.

Lake Almanor

The house is exactly as described. Large and roomy, able to accommodate a large party. It is close to the lake. The river below is beautiful and relaxing. Loved the deck. The owners are very nice and attentive.

House was super clean and the host was incredibly accommodating to all our needs. We had a great stay Only downside was there was no good access to water or parks that were in walking distance.

Loved it

Huge clean house, everything you could need for a stay. Lots of games and fun entertainment. Location is awesome. The river is amazing with a fun hike down to it. The hosts are spectacular. We got stuck off roading and needed an emergency pick up- they did not need to do this for us but they did - we are so grateful. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing property and best hosts ever !

The property is very well equipped and well stocked. The adults spent most of the time on the amazing patio and kids had a blast at the pool and ping-pong/TT table. Debbie and David are the nicest and kindest people that we have ever met. They went out of their way to help us whenever we needed. We had a great time. We are going back for sure.

Amazing home and view!!!!

Our family stayed at the house for four nights. The house is beautiful but the back deck and the view of the river is amazing. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck and fishing in the river. The guys loved the pool table. Debbie and Dave are great hosts, we would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a beautiful home with amazing views and a short drive to Lake Almanor.

Awesome House - with Great Deck Scene!

Fantastic property. Large home that can accommodate many guests with a fantastic deck above the river - great for hanging out and catching up. Debbie and Dave are great hosts, very responsive. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes, cooking utensils, etc. I/we will definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this property.

Almanor Bliss

First I'd like to say Debbie and Dave are excellent hosts and communicate regularly. The house is spacious, clean and the location is excellent. We could not have asked for a better week up at Almanor. The weather was perfect and I was reminded why I have such fond memories coming up every summer as a kid with my family and friends.
