We (fiancé) have stayed at a lot of properties throughout the state and this one of our most favorite places we have vacationed. So much to do and see. Debbie was so helpful, her communication/notes were spot on and responded immediately.Their property was so nice, clean and in a gorgeous mountain setting with the river just steps from the house. Sitting on the deck after a day on the lake with a cocktail, hearing the stream flow was a daily treat. This was a great vacation for us (fiancé and Buck/doggo) and we didn’t want to leave. Thank you for such a great trip.

House/Cabin and property are on a gorgeous lot with views both visual and audible of the Hamilton Branch stream. Amenities and appliances are upgraded to modern standards and tastefully done. We loved this property during our time visiting Lassen. The river is amazing and the space was very comfortable for our family of 4. Debbie was great to communicate with. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great host & place and location

We really enjoyed our stay. The location with the river in the back was amazing! And we were especially happy that we could bring our two dogs along :)

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very helpful with local dining recommendations. The cabin was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. We loved listening to the river right outside and it was just a short drive to Lake Almanor, where we enjoyed boating all weekend. Perfect location and an overall great experience—we’d definitely stay here again!

Ideal stay, within driving distance to the lake. access to the Nest thermostat was convenient to adjust the temperature to our comfort. Overall, a great stay. Could have left foot stools for kids to access the tall sinks in the restroom.

This was a 5 Star vacation!!! This beautiful rental looks brand new, has plenty of space, bright and happy, has everything you need, fire place and air conditioning, very comfortable, beautiful deck that has shade in the morning / late afternoon which is wonderful / fire pit and BBQ! / overlooks the gorgeous river, quiet and peaceful, a short drive to everything and we had fish for dinner every nite that my brother caught from the river below! Too much fun! Fishing was fabulous in so many locations! The birding is off the charts everywhere also! We didn't have time to do all the water sports but we will in the future. It will be our new home away from home when we go back to visit Lake Almanor / Hamilton Branch many more times in the future! Thank you Debbie and David for being such lovely and generous hosts! Looking forward to future vacations at your lovely rental! :)

Great location and beautiful property. Creek in back yard was amazing and the beds were very comfy.

I was very impressed. It was close to food and amenities. The lake was a close drive/ walk away.

This property is very well maintained and stocked with all the necessities. We stayed in September and it was very quiet. Having coffee on the deck listening to the sounds of the river was the best way to start are day. We will definitely be back!!!!

A great place!

This was a great house to stay in. It's well appointed, clean and comfortable. It was a very short drive to the Hamilton Branch fishing access which was a big plus for my kids. The sound of the river behind the house was very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this for a quiet mountain getaway.

Wonderful House

House is in a quiet, peaceful setting. House interior was immaculate. Host could not have been nicer. Great location right above the river.

Lake Almanor

Great cabin, close to the river, quiet and peaceful. Wonderful feel for the cabin, newly remolded, very clean, nice outside balcony looking over the river. We had a great time! Thanks for everything.

Nice and Easy

Nice location in a quiet neighborhood and easy access to everything on the Peninsula. River was running pretty good so some good noise to fall asleep too.

Gorgeous setting, well appointed home

This home had everything you could think of. Loved the kitchen. Set up, the sound of the river, and the owners were lovely. Will be back!

Just what I needed

It was a lovely stay at this clean and modernized house. The owner was lovely and the grounds were immaculate. It was amazing to wake up to the sounds of the Hamilton Branch and enjoy the starry nights on the balcony. I definitely plan to go back!

Gorgeous space in an incredible place!

The home is even better in person! Remodeled to perfection and fun house with an incredible porch overlooking the Hamilton Branch. Super clean! Debbie is a great host and extremely kind and accommodating. We look forward to another visit!

Family New Year

It was such a beautiful place. We were visiting family that we hadn't seen in a long time. The rental was less than a mile away so going back and forth was very easy. The view are absolutely breathtaking. Very nice accommodations and we'd definitely stay there again. The host was amazing at staying in touch and answering any questions we had.

Great Cottage on Peaceful River

Well appointed and recently remodeled cottage was perfect for a 3 night stay. My son and I came to the area for a fishing trip and this was close to all the spots by the lake. We had everything we needed to cook in each night and enjoyed listening to Hamilton branch river to go to sleep. Back deck had nice views of river and peaceful to sit for a rest. Debbie, the owner was communicated well checking in on us once there.

Relaxing

The view was spectacular and the sound of the river was so relaxing. We spend most of our time out on the deck relaxing and visiting. The property was very clean, the towels and bedding were plush, and all amenities were as listed. The host was very accommodating to our unexpected change in plans. We will definitely book again.

Get Away by the Lake

Beautiful location on the river with a cozy and functional design that is family friendly. We were lucky enough to have a dusting of snow which added to the beauty of the area. The river sounded wonderful from back deck. All basic amenities and pantry items were provided by host. Host was also available quickly for support as needed.
