The Vaughan Palmer House, built in 1902, is a breathtaking home registered in the Quapaw-Prospect Historic District of Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. This grand old beauty sits high on a foothill overlooking Hot Springs National Park. The property is just perfect for wedding party members, family gatherings, girl's weekends and guy's golf trips. There is so much to enjoy in this sweet, bustling, small town. From the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort to shopping, hiking for every level hiker, historical spas and bathhouses on Bathhouse Row, biking (rentals available), art galleries featuring our amazing local artists, The Arlington Hotel, Garvin Woodland Gardens (a must see!) great restaurants and history galore...there is something for everyone!

Y’all, this house is majestic!! Although we loved the bath houses, staying in this house was the highlight of our trip to Hot Springs.

This place was amazing! It was accommodating. We were there for our dad's 81st birthday and don't regret one single thing! It was close to everything and when we are in Hot Springs, this is the only place we will stay.

Great central location. Within minutes of either downtown or Oaklawn, depending on your interest. Just love this house! Roomy and spacious. Everyone can gather or get some needed quiet time. Perfect for our family.

First, we had an awesome weekend, their home was amazing!! We had everything we needed and more. The home was beautiful, however very comfortable. We felt at home from the morning moment we arrived, We have a family member in a wheelchair. The large open rooms made it very easy for him to navigate and move throughout the lower level. Wendy, the hostess was very responsive over the last 8 months as we planned our trip. Excellent rating!

This house was wonderful. It accommodated our large group and was very well stocked from the kitchen to bathrooms. Check-in was a breeze and the location was close to everything on our agenda. The house was beautifully decorated and all the beds were comfortable.

Historic Pleasure

Visited for a family wedding and the house did not disappoint. Lovely mixture of modern amenities and a beautiful historic setting. Lots of room for everyone in the house was super cool for the summer heat. Would definitely stay again.

Annual Family Races Trip

This is a wonderful home for a large family. We have 12- 6 adults & 6 kids. Lots of room to spread out and beautiful grounds for the kids to play. We have stayed here 2 years in a row, and will be booking our 3rd year soon.

Perfect for three generations

This was our second time here. Plenty of space for all age groups. We love the historic feel of this home. Within walking distance to several restaurants. We hope to return again!

Annual Family Retreat

This beautiful historic property had everything you could need: plenty of silverware, condiments, coffee, and all the comfort of home not to mention this place is beautiful. i’ve been with Vrbo for more than 15 years and this is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed. I would highly recommend it for families.

Girls Trip

Gorgeous historical home, super clean, and decorated for Halloween!!! We loved everything about! They had a complete coffee bar, and all the condiments and spices you could ask for. We will definitely be coming back.

Home away from home!!

THIS HOUSE WAS A HOME! The monument you walk through the door you will feel right at home! It was so beautiful and clean, the rooms were so big and spacious and well decorated I REALLY LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS HOME. We can’t wait until our next visit.

Perfect venue

I could live here. Everything was top notch. We had a small 100th birthday celebration for my mother. Out of town relatives stayed in the house and we had the party here. We had everything we needed. And Wend was the best hostess/owner.

Gorgeous Hot Springs Getaway

We had friends come from Nashville, TN and this property blew them (and us) away! It was spacious, yet inviting. It had plenty of rooms for the us to spread out at night to sleep, but also had spaces for us to all gather and hang out through our time here. We loved hanging out in the kitchen, dining room, and living room! It was beautiful and relaxing!

Beautiful Hstoric Home

This property was amazing. Wendy is the best host I have ever known. The house was fully stock with alll the nescessary items you need, all the paper products, plenty of towels, coffee, creamer and 2 coffee pots. The rooms are really spacious. The ice maker at the wet bar is amazing. The Sun room and the front porch was me and my husband's favorite. I would recommend this property to anyone. We will come again.

Fantastic

It’s even better than the description! We hade two families in for a long weekend! The house (and surrounding area) were sooo nice. The house is so roomy. It was stocked better than almost any place I’ve ever rented. So much character!! Just lovely!!! We loved having meals in the beautiful/large dinning room. The place is so elegant! The rooms are huge!Parking was great! Basketball court in back. Beautiful yard!You are only a few blocks from the bath row area, with many good restaurants and shopping. Just a great place! Thanks so much for allowing us to stay. We will be back!Jon
