The Space
Luana Kai B314 is a extra-large modern 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo that sleeps up to eight guests in a prime top-floor oceanfront location. Enjoy 1,470 square feet of luxury living space with huge vaulted ceilings throughout. Every floor and surface of this condo was recently remodeled. The kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, flooring, fixtures, furniture, beds and linens were all updated.
Gather at the large kitchen peninsula or dine al fresco on the covered lanai. In the newly decorated living area, you’ll find a comfortable queen sleeper sofa, a large 55” SmartTV and plenty of space to unwind. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is well equipped with a generous array of cooking and dining supplies.
Relax in the two master bedroom suites that feature California King beds, 55″ SmartTV's and an ensuite bathroom. The third bedrooms can be made up as two Twin XL beds or combined as a California King, making this condo perfect for couples or large families.
Included amenities are beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, body boards and more. Complimentary high speed wireless internet service, in-condo laundry with washer/dryer and iron/board are all included with your stay.
The Resort
Luana Kai is an amenity-rich resort with multiple tennis and pickle ball courts, free self-parking, a heated fresh water swimming pool, bubbly hot tub, two dry saunas, putting green, shuffleboard, and an abundance of lush tropical landscaping.
In addition to the 1.5 mile long beach in front of Luana Kai, there are more than a dozen other sandy coves and beaches nearby along the arid south Maui coastline. Within a few minutes drive are the lovely postcard-perfect beaches of Keawakapu, Kamaole II, Kamaole III, Charley Young, and Sugar Beach.
There are many great restaurants near Luana Kai. Our favorites include Coconut’s Fish Cafe, Monsoon India, Nalu’s South Shore Grill, Wow Wow Lemonade (go there for the acai bowls), Miso Phat Sushi, Home Maid Cafe (the best malasadas) and Maui Pie for dessert. If you prefer to cook, there are a few grocery stores close by and 5 grills on site.

The rental was very comfortable and accommodating for the six of us. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive to our requests and questions. Overall a wonderful experience for celebrating my wife’s birthday with our children and spouses.

The VRBO was perfect and more than spacious for our family of 5 including a child. The hosts were very accommodating with some special arrival/departure exception requests, which was much appreciated! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful ocean view. Quiet neighborhood. The hardest part was climbing 3 flights of stairs with all of our luggage.

A perfect place to stay for our family of 5. The condo has everything you need for exploring Maui! The host was very kind and made sure we had all the information we needed and their recommendations were great.

The property was perfect, great views of the ocean and close proximity to many of Maui’s beaches and shopping. The staff takes excellent care of the exterior common areas, very quiet and lovely.

Wonderful Location
The condo was great. It was in a great location and they had everything you'd need for a large family to stay at the beach: beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear, tennis rackets, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice condo in excellent location!
Our family of 5 enjoyed this condo 5 nights in Maui. The amenities at the condo was top notch! The location was great with nice restaurants near by. Easy check in and check out process. We would definitely stay here again!!

If you’re looking for a place to relax with all of the amenities that you need this is the place. We cooked out every dinner (grilled cleaned daily by staff). The pool and hot tub were very clean. Views were fantastic! Pool kitchen has a fridge, oven and sink. Just a great place for a family vacation!

Family Maui Trip

Fantastic Condo and Location
Absolutely perfect spot for our family vacation with our adult children and their spouses. Plenty of activities on the property and everything was well maintained.I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this property again and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Maui Vacation
We loved the condo. The location is central, it is on the beach and very comfortable. The accommodations were perfect and were exactly as advertised.

The garbage disposal smelled horrible. The washing machine was dirty, unkempt, rusted, and smelt horrible. The air-conditioning units were leaking and dripping water onto one of the bedrooms. It was also leaking into the ceiling and caused an open hole. When communicated to the manager that there were dirty dishes left in the cupboard he said oh the previous tenants must’ve left them there. This is totally unacceptable for the amount of money paid for the property and by the way, it is not Ocean view and barely oceanfront. It is an apartment in a condo community whose view is the on site swimming pool.

We are sorry this stay was not what you expected. During the reservation we were told about water from an air-conditioning unit. We asked to enter the condo to fix the problem. Access was declined while you were in residence, so we could not make the repair until after checkout. After you left we found significant water damage and have since repaired the unit, ceiling, and related issues. The listing is an oceanfront condo in a resort community; the lanai faces the property’s oceanfront pool and lawn with the water beyond, as shown in the listing photos. We have also reviewed turnover on dishes, the disposal, and laundry so the next guests do not run into the same problems. We wish we had been allowed in to fix the leak while you were there.

Great property!
This VRBO was a great fit for our 3 couples. It had a great view of the ocean and easy access to the pool and pickleball.
The property manager was a very responsive communicator.
We would highly recommend it!

This property is centrally located on Maui. It worked well for our group of 6 adults. Luke and Maisie were easy to work with and answered all our questions prior to arriving. The condo was clean and well stocked. Property is well maintained. We would definitely stay at this place again.

Outstanding
We booked our stay based on reviews of the property and the condo unit we selected. The condo was stunning and the Luana Kai property was well kept. Luke was easy to communicate with and always responded within 24 hours. The condo had the essentials to cook our own meals, and the condo property had gas grills on site. We will definitely be back.

Excellent layout for a family of 6.
Luke was excellent to communicate with. During travel restrictions etc he was very accommodating. My only negative comment is that the beach the property is on is really not very nice but great beaches are just a short drive away.

Amazing Experience
Our family of 6 was very comfortable! Everyone had a bed and their own private space. The pictures don’t do it justice - it is very clean and nicely decorated with everything you could need in the bathrooms and kitchen. There were beach essentials for us to use. Right off the balcony you could see whales in the ocean! We had a great time!

Winter escape to Maui
This condo is on the third floor with a nice balcony to enjoy meals. The three bedrooms each have a high-def t.v. and the condo is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. With three bathrooms, it is a perfect stay for three couples, a family, or perhaps 2 small families. While it sleeps six very comfortably, it can accommodate 8 with the pull-out sofa, but honestly that would infringe on the living area and would need to be closed each morning. This particular resort has a pool/spa, and is within easy walking distance to the beachfront. There are also two four tennis courts, but one side is pretty busy each day with a pickel-ball league. just a short drive south on South Kihei road are a plenty of supermarkets to purchase groceries, and a ton of dining options. We particularly enjoyed the Kihei Cafe for breakfast, and Da Kitchen for hawaiian plate lunches. Tamura's Wines and Liquors sells fresh poke each day starting at 11;00 a.m. and is just a short 5-minute drive from the condo. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kihei and the ideal accommodations for our six adults. Mahalo.
