Perfect vacation spot! Waterfront property - located on a canal leading to Little Lagoon. In the heart of Gulf Shores - 3 blocks to Gulf Shores main public beach and The Hangout. Walking distance to popular shopping spots and restaurants. Spacious 3 bedroom/2 bath unit. Primary bedroom with private bathroom and screened porch. Kayaking and fishing from the backyard - bring your kayak or rent one when you arrive!

PLEASE NOTE: This property is a duplex. One or both units may be rented. If one unit is rented, then the other unit will be rented out to another party. Each unit is independent containing a kitchen, living area, 3 br/ 2ba and private screened porch. This listing is for Unit B. See listing #1876887 for side A.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 3 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include free WiFi, 1 smart tv, fully equipped kitchen, screened porch, canal front.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom.

Everything fell into place. Host was awesome! Very thankful she has a pet friendly place people can take fur babies with you. Beach right across the road. Everything within walking distance Will definitely rent again.

This was our 1st time staying in Gulf Shores. The listing was not as pictured on Vrbo. Check in was a breeze you get everything a couple of days in advance that was a plus. On arrival When you 1st walk in, there was a very strong musty smell. As to proceed to enter we noticed the flooring was warped and damage to the flooring, closet door was dented in, sliding glass door in bedroom would not lock, the screen on the back deck was hanging.I contacted the owner she was able get maintenance out the next day. I went and got cleaning supplies to do some lite cleaning to try and get the smell out. We had intentions to grill but that was a no. The grill was nasty and rusty. The bedding was nasty did not smell clean. I rewashed everything we would be using as well as washed everything before we left to insure the next guest had clean sheets and towels. I could go on and on with things. At the end of the day I was just grateful to be with my family. If I was the owner I would definitely look into hiring a new cleaning service and maintenance. The gentleman that came out to look did say he knew the screen had been damaged but he hadn’t been there in a while. I’m not putting all the blame on the property owner. She hires ppl to do these things and if they don’t bring it to her attention she cant do nothing about it. The pillows need to be updated when stripping my daughter’s pillows it was nasty and orange.

Amazing location

Bama birthday

This is second time here. I think we got lucky with our schedule that this house was available. The place is great. Clean, comfortable and close to so much. You can walk to the beach, shop and eat right from here. The house has plenty of room and is inanice, quiet location.

Wonderful place, great host

I was in Gulf Shores with some friends for the annual shrimp festival. The locations is perfect. The place was very clean. Kitchen had every utensil and cookware you could need. The washer and dryer were very handy. Furniture of good quality and sturdy. Beds comfortable. The screened in deck off the master bedroom was a great bonus and I enjoyed sitting out there with my morning coffee. The host was very responsive to any inquiries and problems. There was a problem with the bathtub drain and she had someone out there to fix it ASAP. I would definitely stay here again.

Space or commodity?

Overall this was an okay place to stay. We booked for a last minute weekend trip, we didn’t have many options. If we were to come back, we wouldn’t stay here again. Good things: A lot of space, has 3 bedrooms and lots of beds. Washer and dryer in unit. Every room has a TV. They leave mini shampoo and conditioner bottles. Bad things: outdated furniture, kitchen dishes and utensils are stored in iffy ways, we washed everything before using it, Shower drains were clogged, bed linens and towels had stains on them, Mattresses and mattress covers were really bad stained and old, house floors were sandy when we checked in, stains on the walls and baseboards specially on the kitchen island, and worse of all- AC never cooled the house. It’s July and it never got colder than 70, we were hot all night and sweaty. Feels like the coldest 70 degrees was between 5-8am. This is huge for me since it’s literally summer, we traveled with a big family and after being outside all day you want to come home to a cool place. Also, on the last night we were there the fire/carbon monoxide alarm went crazy ringing every few mins. We called and texted the owner around 9-10pm and received a reply back next day around 6:30am. It wouldn’t stop going off and we weren’t sure why, we ended up calling 911 and they dispatched a fire truck who came to inspect the house and make sure it wasn’t carbon monoxide. They said the house isn’t wired correctly so something set it off but it was safe to go back. Nope.

Can’t wait too book again!

Everything about this property was perfect. Location was just the right amount of distance from traffic so we didn’t hear loud vehicles all night, but close enough to walk to restaurants and souvenir shops. Being able to park our vehicle beneath the rental saved us whenever the rain came. Plus the shade kept our vehicle cool in the summer heat. Kids loved sitting on the screened-in back patio anytime we took a break from activities. The canal behind the property is a bonus if you bring a kayak or SUP board. If there were any cons, I’d have to say water pressure in the hallway bathroom is noticeably weaker than the bathroom inside the bedroom. Not a real issue though since the kids preferred the weaker pressure. We truly enjoyed our stay. Can’t wait to book again!

Nice little duplex

This is a nice little duplex on the canal in the middle of Gulf Shores. Easy walk to store and restaurants nearby. Couple of blocks to the beach. Property was a little old but maintained fairly well. Bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Screened porch was nice to have on the back facing the canal.

Unprofessional

Check in was ok, but when we walked in it had a musty smell that never went away throughout house. When our stay came to an end on May 24th, we left the property at checkout time, then we got 2 calls back to back I didn't recognize the number so, I didn't answer because I was driving. Then I received 2-3 text messages and calls up to around 1:00pm. I arrived at home then I listened to my voice mails that was from the property owner Shonna and I also received a voice mail from Vrbo telling me that I need to leave the property right now, because my check out time was for 10am they threaten to call the cops and said that we were trespassing because her housekeeper said that we were still on the property at 1pm. So, I texted Shonna back to let her know that we were off your property at checkout time and that there were several cars from the other party there and that we were already back at home. I also informed the property manager Shonna of the musty smell through the house. I have been on multiple house rentals throughout the US and that was the worst unprofessional experience I have ever had and I would like a refund. I have the messages if you would like to hear them.

Had a great stay!

We had a great stay here. It was very clean and quiet. The location was only a 10-15 minute walk to many great places. The only downside is that we were only given 1 trash bag and a couple of rolls of toilet paper for a 5 day stay with 6 people so bring more if you think you’ll need more than that! Thanks for a great place to stay!
