Private, key-less, front door entrance to 1000 sq ft bungalow suite. Well appointed and comfortable, quiet home with wood stove for cold nights and piano for entertainment! Very well stocked and supplied cook's kitchen that includes a gas range / grill / oven with quartz counter tops and stainless steel back splash for function and style. Large extendable solid wooden table in large attached dining room with fireplace insert for cozy meals and comfy evenings. Comfortable, all new bedding with pillow top mattresses and both side and back pillows, fresh sheets and duvets. House is immaculately clean & great location to stay for work, play, visit & rest in safe quiet residential, inner city community of West Hillhurst. Free parking. Walking distance to Down Town, University of Calgary, Foothills Medical Centre, Tom Baker Cancer Center, Alberta Children's Hospital, McMahon Stadium, ACAD, SAIT and CBC. Bus stop a block away, minutes from Bow River and the 48 km paved Bow River pathway system from Bear's Paw Dam, through down town, to Fish Creek Provincial Park. Stampede Park is only 6.9 km away. Easy access to TransCanada hwy to Banff to ski & explore. the mountain park system.

Anfitrión: bill golbeck
Tatjana and Bill have been happily married for over 30 years and raised 3 children in this house. With the adult children now out making their own way and having recently sold the veterinary clinic they ran for 29 years, they spent considerable time developing the property to include the spacious and very well appointed 3 bedroom short term rental unit and a small but very comfortable apartment attached behind for their personal living space, shared with their indoor cat. Now Tatjana is expanding her interest in her business, "Tana's Pantry" and Bill is still working part time at a local veterinary clinic and enjoying it. Free time is spent foraging the local woods seasonally, hiking, kayaking, camping and skiing - enjoying our amazing outdoors!

Fireplace insert wood stove in dining / living room for cozy dinners and comfy winter nights! There is a piano and 2 guitars that are in the house and available for our guests to enjoy themselves playing.
