The Perch was a beautiful home in a fantastic location with amazing views of the lake and mountains and you can see the windmills up on the hill. It was perfect for my family on our vacation down to deep creek and would definitely stay here again!

Views were beautiful. Loved the owl decorations and toys and ping pong table in basement. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, there was no lake access and neither hair dryer worked

Pretty views of the mountains and lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and the property was well-kept and clean. Easy check-in/check-out process

Short weekend stay

We stayed here for a long weekend and the property was great and well maintained. The property manger was also very responsive and would book this place again!

Very spacious and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The "perch" decor theme was cute. The view for the sunrise was gorgeous.

Lake view escape!

The Perch was everything it says it is! Cozy cabin atmosphere, an abundance of amenities, and a view of the lake. It was by far the best place I’ve stayed at in Deep Creek.

Great Family Place

The Perch was perfect for our family stay. Our daughter loved the ping pong table, swings, and firepit. The hot tub was great. The space was beautiful. The beds were comfy. My only complaint is the dartboard and corn hole sets need updating/refurbishing.

Christmas at The Perch

There was lots of space for the six adults to be together for meals and activities, but there was also sufficient space to disperse for independent activities.

Great weekend getaway

Came to the lake for a wedding. We brought our kids so our parents watched the kids in the Perch while we were at the wedding. They loved the house and played very well. Everything was very clean. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful property with a great view

This was a nice place to getaway and enjoy some quiet time and nature. The house had nice furniture and decorations were very tasteful. Everything was clean overall and checkin was really easy. It’s a nice house if you have kids and want different hangout spaces.

The beds were extremely hard. Be prepared to bring an air topper or featherbed. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home, had all you would need for a stay. Views were outstanding! Contacted owner weeks before the stay to find out if there was a Keurig and was told there wasn’t one, so we brought what we would need for a coffee maker. Turns out they had one after all. Listing states there is air conditioning, no there is not. Fans work well and there was a decent breeze some of the days. Enjoyed the hot tub, especially on the cooler nights. Unfortunately it wasn’t treated properly and I came home with folliculitis. Had to be on antibiotics for a week for treatment. Management company was contacted but no follow up.

What a view!

Great view of deep creek lake from this lovely house and magnificent deck. We had a great time doing nothing at this house except relax, grill, soak in the hot tub, read books, see the stars and nature, and (again) relax. We also rented a boat (thanks Funtime Watersports!), received massages and facials (thanks Massage at the Lake!) and enjoyed dinners in Oakland and McHenry. Definitely recommended!

Perfectly located getaway

The house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 toddlers. The open spaces on the deck were lovely every morning and evening! The house is well situated near all the parks and places to eat. It was our first time in Deep Creek, and this experience will have us returning! When we arrived the sink of the main bedroom was clogged. The customer service was quick to respond, and had it fixed immediately which was fantastic and very appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!

Memorable Time!

Had a wonderful time with the family! I would consider renting this property again during summer time and never on winter. Shoveling the driveway is not fun and driving on hills to the property from town is stressful when it's snowing like cates and dogs.

Thank you! I'm so glad you had such a good time. Because of our location in the mountains, we do get quite a bit of snow in the winter. 4WD is recommended. If you want to return in the winter, we would be happy to help you find a property with more level access. The Perch is a great spot in the summer, and we look forward to seeing you again!

Getaway at The Perch

We had a fantastic and restorative stay at the Perch. My husband, dog Pepper and I enjoyed four nights at the Perch. The property was exactly as advertised, clean and well equipped. We spent time reading, napping, playing games, enjoying the hot tub and making delicious food. It was a great place for us to unwind and disconnect from our busy jobs. We also enjoyed being so close to many parks and hiking trails. We will certainly return and have already shared our experience at the Perch with friends who were looking for a rental.
