Nice property in Northern Michigan. Secluded on small lake. Very Peaceful. Property clean and homey. Easy to work with host who offered ideas for our short Fall season stay.As location is more remote, internet and mobile phone service is limited.Hilltop location (and large deck) offers panoramic views but more challenging stairway to lake and firepit.

This is a great family vacation spot. Beautiful lakefront property with lots of space, kayaks, row boat and paddleboat. When we were there, we felt like this was our own private lake. Peaceful, quiet, and almost no mosquitoes!

We had a fantastic week at the cabin! It was perfect for our family. The kids loved that it had a dishwasher. We loved using the kayaks and paddle boat, we played lots of games and enjoyed fishing and sitting by the fire. It was secluded and quiet and just what we needed to get away before the start of the school year.

Beautiful secluded spot on a quiet lake - felt like we were on the lake alone most of the week. Having AC in the house was excellent since it was so hot the week we were there and two full bathrooms was also nice. Dock needed some repair which was the one downside.

I find recommending this location easy. Both visits the site was very clean and well maintained. The addition of the air conditioning and kayaks show the host, Ms. Deb's, attention to providing her guests with a comfortable and entertaining environment. On a personal note I find the atmosphere one of the most peaceful in grieving the loss of my 3 year old daughter, Lilly. The wildlife on the lake, woods and sky are very healing. Thank you again Ms. Deb, and to those trying to decide where to stay... Look no further!

This property is secluded from the neighbors and very quiet. There are seldom any boats on the lake and when there are, they are quiet. The deck is spacious and lovely to sit on during the day and evening. We bring citronella candles as there will be mosquitoes sometimes.There are a lot of step to the lake. I like to think of it as my gym workout! I enjoy taking a cup of coffee down to the dock and watching the Large Mouth Bass making their rounds.

We loved the cabin! The lake was great for fishing and swimming. There are 2 adult kayaks and 2 kids which were not listed in the description so that was great!

The photos don't do this place justice. The views were great! The cottage wss clean, the host was very accommodating and responsive. We had a great stay! The lack of WiFi ended up being just what our family needed.

We had a nice weekend at the lake house once we settled in. The view was terrific and the view in the morning was very relaxing. Also, there was plenty of room for our family reunion. The firepit on the little beach was a hit. The kids loved fishing off of the dock. The location was beautiful however, there were a few issues that need to be addressed. Firstly, the refrigerator was awful. The brackets on the door were both broken and the bottom shelf glass was gone. This made storage very limited. Secondly, the house was surface clean but, don't look behind it. When we went to move the loveseat, we found trash and dust that been there for a very long time. Under the cushions hadn't been vaccumed either, as there was months of dirt accumulated. Many of the dishes we went to use were dirty and needed to be washed before we used them. The coffee maker needed a thorough cleaning as it took 45 min to brew a pot. I went out, bought vinegar, and de-scaled it several times to get it to work properly. Thirdly, the furniture was old and theadbare, and the beds mattresses very old and uncomfortable. Lastly, getting there was made difficult due to GPS being spotty, I would highly recommend a reflective address sign at the end of the drive.This all being said, we did have a very wonderful time at the house. Debbie was very helpful and responded immediately when we need her to help us with a small matter.

Memorial day get away

We had the best trip in your cabin this year! The weather was perfect for atv riding and the fishing was great! Couldnt ask for a better place to relax and have fun!

Great week at a great place

What a location! Quiet and picturesque. Spent most of our time on the beach at the fire pit. Easy access to the Dublin Market and all the fun a great lake and the Manistee National Forest has to offer.
