If you're looking for that true Colorado experience, in a log cabin on 5 acres, that's close to uptown Pagosa Springs, yet feels completely secluded and surprisingly affordable.... then you'll love this home!

This 3 story home has 5 bedrooms,4 full baths, large living room, media room, kitchen and dining area and a lot more and has been recently and completely remodeled. This home has an occupancy of 10 people, but with the space and number of beds, almost everyone can have their own place to sleep. The living room is on the main level (2nd floor) and has a large TV and comfortable furniture perfect for group settings enjoying an evening in front of the fire. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking any meal to be served at the large dining table with plenty of room for everyone with windows on 2 sides overlooking the beautiful property. On the same level are 2 queen bedrooms that share a large full bathroom. The newly added master suite is on this level and has tall ceilings, large master bathroom and a king bed.

Upstairs from the living room, you will enjoy the2nd king bedroom suite with full bathroom. This bedroom also has a small child's bed for the little one that wants to be with the parents. Downstairs from the living room, on the ground floor, there is a large studio style bedroom with a king bed and queen bunk beds, along with a kitchenette area, laundry room and full bath. This room also has it's own entrance.

This home is just a couple minutes from shopping, eating and drinking at one Pagosa's Brew Pubs. Approximately a 5- 7 min drive to the world famous Pagosa Hot Springs, and 30 min from Wolf Creek Ski. Fishing can be found in one of the many nearby streams, rivers or lakes. Or... stay at home and just go for a nice walk around this private 5 acre wonderland!

All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.

This is a pet friendly home. Dogs only, 2 max. The pet fee is $75 per pet, as well as an additional $100 refundable security deposit per pet.

This home does not have A/C

Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee that applies to all cancellations made after booking.

Family Trip

The house and property were fantastic - enough space to spread out. Close to downtown, restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed all of the wildlife!

Amazing Home

This home is perfect for a large group everyone on our stay was able to have their own private space. The place was beautiful and the hot tub was a major bonus. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to booking again in the future.

Great home for family vacation to Pagosa

Great location close to town. Beautiful home with spacious backyard for kids to play. Great communication with management during our stay to address any issues we had. Will see deer daily here, kids loved it!

Location is great but we would have liked the space to have been more clean, there was a lot of what looked like mice poop on countertops we actually decided to leave a day early.

I can assure you that this home was fully evaluated with pictures prior to your arrival and I wish you had communicated with us regarding any issue you may have had. Bugs are not strangers to homes in the mountains and we assessed after your departure and there was no mice droppings at all on any counters. Had this issue been brought to our attention during your stay we could have assessed the situation and fixed it. For future guests: we are available for any issues that may arise at any home we manage, but we do have to be informed. VIP Team

Family Getaway

Very nice cabin. Updated and clean. Viewed a lot of wildlife on property. Vacationed with small children and had beautiful yard for children to play in. Nice fire pit area. Very polite and responsive management as well. Overall a wonderful experience and beautiful area to vacation.

Phenomenal time in Pagosa Springs

We loved the cabin in Pagosa Springs. It was beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything that we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in exploring the area. Super close to town (5 minute drive), while still secluded enough to be surrounded by wildlife - there were almost always deer or wild turkeys in front of the property. Loved it!

Christmas Vacation

House is nice and big, great location. Spread out on three floors so if you have bad knees it wouldn’t be a good fit. Living and kitchen on second floor so you have to climb to take groceries in. But it worked for us so we would stay again if opportunity presents itself.

A Great Escape in the House in the Woods

Fantastic Property

Our experience was top notch, from the reservation to our checkout. The location was perfect - close to town but with plenty of room to watch the deer and other wildlife without feeling like we had neighbors. The home was clean and well stocked with almost everything we needed for a great stay. Only things missing were a metal spatula for the burgers we grilled and more outdoor seating to enjoy the wraparound porch. Lori and Stuart communicated everything very well and were easy to reach when we needed them. Overall it was a great stay for our family of 5 - highly recommended!

Spectacular!

This house is absolutely beautiful and located close enough to town for easy access to needs and main road yet far enough away to feel secluded. We stayed during June and took nice evening walks watching deer, turkeys, fox and other wildlife. With a family of 4 couples, the house bedrooms give privacy for each. The bathrooms were well designed magnificent as well. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The only negative for the house was the main floor was on the second floor requiring stairs for access. Highly recommend and would love to come back.

ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!

This home was perfect for our family of 10! The cabin is clean, gorgeous, and very spacious. It was fully stocked with everything that we needed for cooking, grilling, and we were able to make s’mores around the campfire at night next to the hot tub! I was contacted by Ashley, the VIP Rental concierge service and she gave me information and pricing on fun activities in Pagosa. She even made reservations for our family to go tubing in the San Juan River which was AMAZING!! We had the best time! Thank you!!

Underwhelming

The first thing is that this property was noxious with the smell of mothballs. We had to have an easter egg hunt to find all of the open bags of mothballs stashed around the property. People will sometimes use mothballs as a method of pest control, this leads to the second issue. The presence of some type of droppings on the kitchen countertop when we arrived either roach or mouse. Therefore, the property was not thoroughly cleaned and there is a known, untreated pest problem. It was very clear that this property was furnished with whatever was available in the local secondhand shop to include the bedding. Without evidence of proper cleaning this made the property unsatisfactory for all of our guests. The beds were very uncomfortable having either uncomfortable mattresses or noisy springs. I will say that this property very large and the kitchen was well stocked with day to day items and cook and dinnerware. It was in a good central location in town. The driveway was plowed from the street to the garage door. However it lacked a lot of comforts like blankets in the living areas, extra towels or linens, or coat and boot drying rack.

Wonderful location

House was recently updated and very nice. Location is great with plenty of mule deer and other wild life in the yard. House was clean on the inside and nicely stocked but outside needed some work. Would have been nice if they had cleaned the porches and had some outdoor chairs to sit on. Oven did not work which was disappointing. I enjoy cooking all our meals on family vacations and this limited what I could make. We also had an issue with a leaking pipe on our last day and reported that to the appropriate people. Over all, we had a get vacation and would definitely rent this home again.

We didn't have snow here but did enjoy it in Wolf Creek. Eveyone was so exhausted after skiing that we didn't venture out except for dinner. We cooked for our Thanksgiving meal and had everything we needed at our fingertips. The only issues we had was a tv in one bedroom didn't work so they didn't get to relax with tv and then the electricity went out one day in the area for a few hours. The property managers were very quick to respond and very helpful to any of our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!

There’s a lot of wildlife to see. Everything that’s needed at home is here. Can cook here or close to town and able to eat out. Sights are close and within driving distance. Nice cabin tucked back in the forest! Recommend a stay here.

Rest & Relaxation

Beautiful, each morning and evening would see the deer, turkeys and the hummingbirds. So peaceful and calming. Get away from it all and just relax. Cook out on the grill with a nice glass of wine and just breath. Nature hikes close by and close to town, though you don't feel like you are close to town. Was the best and look forward to going back.

Wonderful property!

The cabin is close to town but you feel like you’re deep in the woods. Well appointed home in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of wildlife to enjoy! Property managers were engaged and great hosts! Super experience, can’t wait to do it again!

Great house for family get together

We like to get together each year with my brother’s family and ski Wolf Creek. There are 8 of us total and this cabin was perfect! There was plenty of room for everyone with extra space. The heated garage was amazing for all our gear. All the kids loved having their own space downstairs and using the hill outside for sledding. Jessica with the property management company was great and very responsive with any questions. We will definitely look for this property for future rentals.
