The fully equipped kitchen and large dining area are perfect for preparing meals and gathering together - take dinner out to the screened-in porch and enjoy the breeze. A large deck with lots of seating for everyone is a great place to spend time after a day of fun in the sun.

The sandy beaches and beautiful water of the Gulf of Mexico are just a short 0.2 mile walk from this home. Guests can access the public beach access and sit beachside and watch for playful dolphins in the surf. Enjoy dining on local seafood at nearby restaurants like Triple Tails Seafood and Toucan's of Mexico Beach, or take a drive into Panama City Beach (just over 35 miles away) for more dining and shopping options.

Beautiful Home

This is a great house for just the two of us! Although it would also be great for a family! It was clean and cool when we arrived. The screened in porch is great for storing your beach items. We look forward to a return stay.

Great home

We try to book this home anytime we come to Mexico Beach. It’s spacious for our larger family with plenty of sleeping options, utensils, & dinnerware. The location and neighborhood are good.

Spacious & Bright!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Mermaid Manor. We really enjoy this rental. It is very spacious with lots of sleeping options. It also has a large driveway to accommodate our boat & hose to wash it off right there. There are plenty of plates & utensils for our family as well. With just a short walk to the beach, we def recommend staying here.

Mermaid Manor is great

The house was open and airy with great, peaceful neighborhoods. Close to the beach! The manager was very helpful and friendly. Would stay there again!

Very nice property

I have stayed at many short term rentals that other web sites offer and this property and Vacasa in general are as good as any I've ever used. The property was very clean and it was convenient to everything. Great stay!

Great location

Loved that it was a short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Could not get some lights turned on. Location of switches confusing. Grills not useable thou advertised in ad. Overall a great experience. I would stay there again.

Beautiful House But Trash Outside and In Yard

We had a nice stay w two families. House was nice and we enjoyed getting to use the grill. The one downside, which was a bit troubling, was there was trash all over the yard. We called and wrote the management company, and to their credit, the next day they had someone pick up the overflowing trash bins. The trash in the back yard and side yard was not however picked up - we picked up much of it ourselves. After a few days, we discovered there is a small black bear living in the neighborhood; we notify the management company and informed them they need bear, proof, trash, cans we also spoke with the neighbor, and he indicated we also had three raccoons. Who could imagine! In the end, the bear and raccoon made an enormous mess - we ended up keeping the trash in the house. One final note - the house has a for sale sign. I believe the owner has called it quits on the house. We enjoyed our stay - house and porch (and grill in back) we’re nice. The master king Bed needs to be replaced. In the meantime d, a bit of a mixed bag. This was our third stay in Mexico Bewch in two years and this would be at the bottom of my list - but the company we had made the trip great.

Nice House

Some things were missing like ironing board. Only one small bar of soap in each bathroom. not enough to wash hands and bathe.

Great affordable vacation home

Great location. Clean and spacious for 9 of us. 5 adults and four kiddos. We had to fix a couple of the door handles upon arrival and the blender was broken, and the no propane for the propane grill, but a new charcoal grill was dropped off during our stay, but all minor issues. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

Quiet location

This property is located at the end of Georgia Avenue very quiet location beautiful house very clean. Screened in front porch is wonderful for babies to play. We once lived on Georgia Avenue and we knew it was a wonderful neighborhood. Will be back again. If you go, make sure you eat at Joe Mama’s Pizza in Port Saint Joe! we ate there twice😀

Great home!

This home is so spacious. Very clean. Well equipped for all sorts of needs and wants. Many good books to read, games to play, and even some dvds to watch in case nothing to find on the t.v. The screened in porch out front is a must and just so nice for anytime of day. Many blankets and pillows for extra comfort. Definitely will be back again!
