Beautiful Lake House

Second time staying here. It was such a great property, we had to come back! Love the big open concept. Love using the pontoon. Close to Milwaukee but still feels very secluded. Also about 1.5hrs from Chicago. Highly recommend.

Best Summer Weekend!

My girlfriends and I had the best weekend at this BEAUTIFUL lake house. We could not have had a better stay. The perfect place to host a girls weekend with an incredible kitchen and outdoor dining. Huge couch for games and movie nights. I would stay here again and again! Thank you again to the hosts for sharing their wonderful home!

Best place I've stayed

We had the pleasure of spending a September weekend here. The owner had excellent communication and was friendly and welcoming. The property itself was stunning and had everything you could ever want. Especially loved the views from the screened in balcony. This place is great, book it if you can.

Team Retreat

We had a lovely stay! This is our second time using this property for a team retreat. It is a perfect location just 30 minutes from Milwaukee. The house is open with lots of comfy furniture and a great basement for lots of fun.

Girls Trip

This incredible property was the perfect location for our friend group to spend some relaxing quality time together. Every one was in awe of the beautiful land and stunning house to go with it. The host graciously walked us through a variety of the many amenities included. I can’t recommend this place enough!

This house was perfect for our ladies weekend! It is beautiful, even better than the photos. The location is great-it’s a quiet neighborhood. Close to Milwaukee/shopping!

Amazing Stay

Our stay was so peaceful and lovely! The house is exactly as described, and the ability to open the kitchen doors to make the space and inside/outside oasis was a highlight of our trip - I don't think we ever had them closed! Use of the boat was so fun, and the lake is the perfect size so that its not so crowded. Sunsets from the deck were perfection, and coffee on the front patio was also a favorite!

Best Thanksgiving away from home!

This vacation property was the loveliest! Located perfectly on a picturesque lake with amazing views all along the length of the home! Every inch of the space was decorated perfectly and there wasn’t anything more we could have asked for in our stay! We would come back again in a heartbeat!

The BEST getaway spot!!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful location. The hosts are wonderful people and extremely accommodating! The house and property are immaculately kept. Couldn't believe the pontoon boat was gassed up and ready to go when we arrived. Can't wait to stop by again!

Incredible Property

Incredible property! We enjoyed all the games and activities they had to offer. Tom and Jeanne were very pleasant to work with and very responsive with any questions we had. Easy access to get into Milwaukee. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful stay in Wisconsin

This property was absolutely gorgeous. The property owner Jeanne was so easy to work with and provided us with a great tour when we first got to the property. The house is truly as gorgeous as the pictures. We had 16 guests who all slept comfortably. We had some rain while we stayed and it didn’t put a damper on the weekend at all. So many games to play to stay entertained. Highly recommend this location if you are looking for a comfortable stay, with a boat in a gorgeous house! 10/10 would book again.

Beautiful House

Large house with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had all the pans we needed. Lots of games. The lake and boat were a fun activity. The lake water was actually warm! Highly recommend this house.

Amazing weekend!

Beautiful property with EVERTHING you need to keep everyone entertained. Outdoor, indoor, nature, activities, games, etc. Can't expect better communication and help from the hosts. As advertised and more. We will be back next summer!

Weekend with friends

We stayed at the house for an entire weekend on the lake. There was more than enough to do just at the lake. I did feel like our initial instructions on how to use all the gadgets in and outside of the house was limited, which affected our stay. The pontoon boat was awesome.

*OUTSTANDING**

Stonewood Lodge was the perfect place for our family while we had a wedding in the area. Tom and Jeanne were prompt with communication leading up to the weekend and met us as soon as we arrived and were so warm and friendly! The home is beautifully designed and decorated and the waterfront is spacious and has gorgeous views of sunsets and wildlife. Our family made very precious memories this weekend that will last our lifetimes!

Great Place with One Flaw

The property and our stay were great with only one drawback; the lake near shore was very mucky so we could not walk into the water to swim and had to take the pontoon boat out offshore for the kids to jump off for a dip.

Beautiful property!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this beautiful house. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you have a great trip, with lots of great little touches like welcome gifts. I mentioned my toddler daughter would be coming and they put out a bunch of toys and a kiddie pool for her! I love the retractable screens upstairs that make it feel like you’re outside, and the indoor/outdoor spaces downstairs are incredible too. We’d definitely stay again! One note is to bring an eye mask if you have a hard time sleeping as the bedrooms get bright in the morning!

Great time with great friends and great house

We all loved the house, the way the main floor opened to incredible views. The pontoon was awesome as well. For our Group, who are used to waterskiing and tubing, along with long lake cruises we felt the lake itself was very small. That’s just our opinion, the lake itself is nice, we simply wished it was larger for our needs. That has nothing to do with the house or renting, just us.

Beautiful house

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures can demonstrate; facilities are lovely and well cared-for. Plenty of space for a big group to spread-out and enjoy the views, spaces, and natural lighting. Technology and games are deployed thoughtfully to allow for a wonderful time recreationally, even if a rainy day comes along. Easy to contact and work with the owners, particularly gracious and communicative. All guests left talking about other family/friend/couple groups they would love to bring back to stay at this house again!

Hidden Gem

Words (and even the pictures) can’t accurately describe how amazing this house is. My family and friends had a wonderful time in this lovely home. The hosts are kind and accommodating. They have put so much thought and detail into every nook and cranny of this home. We would completely and confidently recommend this home for your next vacation. The only problem I see is that if people keep reading these reviews there will be no open dates to book again in the future, which I would love to do!
