Beautiful Lake House

Second time staying here. It was such a great property, we had to come back! Love the big open concept. Love using the pontoon. Close to Milwaukee but still feels very secluded. Also about 1.5hrs from Chicago. Highly recommend.

Best Summer Weekend!

My girlfriends and I had the best weekend at this BEAUTIFUL lake house. We could not have had a better stay. The perfect place to host a girls weekend with an incredible kitchen and outdoor dining. Huge couch for games and movie nights. I would stay here again and again! Thank you again to the hosts for sharing their wonderful home!

Amazing stay for our big family

We had an amazing family reunion at this lake house and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great getaway! The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the host’s communication was top-notch. They even gave us a personal tour of the place, making us feel right at home. The location was convenient and easy to find, making the trip hassle-free for everyone. The lake house itself has some unique and special features that made our stay truly memorable. The deck with a screen was a standout; we spent long hours talking and watching the stunning sunsets. The lake access was amazing, providing endless fun for kids of all ages. We spent hours fishing, and the kids absolutely loved it. The yard and lake access were perfect for our big family group, offering plenty of space and opportunities for everyone to relax and have fun. Overall, this lake house exceeded our expectations and is a fantastic place for large groups or family gatherings. We can’t wait to come back one day.

Girls Trip

This incredible property was the perfect location for our friend group to spend some relaxing quality time together. Every one was in awe of the beautiful land and stunning house to go with it. The host graciously walked us through a variety of the many amenities included. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Beautiful stay in Wisconsin

This property was absolutely gorgeous. The property owner Jeanne was so easy to work with and provided us with a great tour when we first got to the property. The house is truly as gorgeous as the pictures. We had 16 guests who all slept comfortably. We had some rain while we stayed and it didn’t put a damper on the weekend at all. So many games to play to stay entertained. Highly recommend this location if you are looking for a comfortable stay, with a boat in a gorgeous house! 10/10 would book again.

Team Retreat

We had a lovely stay! This is our second time using this property for a team retreat. It is a perfect location just 30 minutes from Milwaukee. The house is open with lots of comfy furniture and a great basement for lots of fun.

Best place I've stayed

We had the pleasure of spending a September weekend here. The owner had excellent communication and was friendly and welcoming. The property itself was stunning and had everything you could ever want. Especially loved the views from the screened in balcony. This place is great, book it if you can.

Incredible Property

Incredible property! We enjoyed all the games and activities they had to offer. Tom and Jeanne were very pleasant to work with and very responsive with any questions we had. Easy access to get into Milwaukee. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful House

Large house with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had all the pans we needed. Lots of games. The lake and boat were a fun activity. The lake water was actually warm! Highly recommend this house.

Family Fun

This is the second year we've rented this property for a family fun vacation with 11 adults and two children under the age of two and would not hesitate to rent again. This house is located in a lovely neighborhood on a small quiet lake. There isn't a beach but we didn't have any problems jumping off the pontoon boat and doing a little swimming. There is a nice small beach about 10 mins away however. In addition to the pontoon boat there are two kayaks and a paddle boat that we used daily. The basement is full of activities and we created a family "Olympic" competition using the games which was a blast! We did encounter several questions and a few problems with the house, but the owners were very responsive to all of them. This is a great house with beautiful views of the lake and lots to do!

Great time with great friends and great house

We all loved the house, the way the main floor opened to incredible views. The pontoon was awesome as well. For our Group, who are used to waterskiing and tubing, along with long lake cruises we felt the lake itself was very small. That’s just our opinion, the lake itself is nice, we simply wished it was larger for our needs. That has nothing to do with the house or renting, just us.

Great Place with One Flaw

The property and our stay were great with only one drawback; the lake near shore was very mucky so we could not walk into the water to swim and had to take the pontoon boat out offshore for the kids to jump off for a dip.

Amazing Stay

Our stay was so peaceful and lovely! The house is exactly as described, and the ability to open the kitchen doors to make the space and inside/outside oasis was a highlight of our trip - I don't think we ever had them closed! Use of the boat was so fun, and the lake is the perfect size so that its not so crowded. Sunsets from the deck were perfection, and coffee on the front patio was also a favorite!

The most accommodating hosts!

I have never felt more welcome in a home as I did in Stonewood Lodge. Our adult kids and spouses stayed at the house, it fit our family of seven nicely. Extended family came for the day, plenty of room for everyone. Jeanne was a great communicator and had the home very well stocked.

Best location for a weekend getaway

We hosted a weekend with college friends and this house did not disappoint. It was spacious for multiple couples and friends, comfortable and well stocked. The home is truly beautiful and the hosts were very thoughtful and walked us through all of the technology/features when we checked in. Was the perfect house to bunker down, light the fire and spend 48 with friends.

Excellent House, beautiful views and wonderful hosts

This place is great, had everything you need to relaxation and entertainment with friends and family. We loved the clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked house. The host couple was a pleasure to deal with and helped to walk through all the onsite amenities and home functionality. The only bit of constructive criticism would be to add more instructions and lables on remotes and switches. This house has quite a few bells and whistles! Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place!

Awesome space!

This is the best space at the best price for large gatherings. Very well equipped for all of our needs during the weekend. Beautifully decorated. The host even ordered extra child/infant life vests to accommodate our family! Very impressed and will likely book here again for our family.

Awesome Home

Our experience renting this property was amazing from start to finish. The renters were very responsive when communicating through the VRBO app. They met us at the house and showed us around so that we knew how to use different technology, as well as explain anything else we needed to know. The home itself was very spacious with plenty of things to do. Very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend this rental.

Great property!

We recently had a family weekend at this property and it did not disappoint. The house easily accommodated our nine adults and two babies. We utilized everything from the pontoon boat, kayaks, steam shower and lower level games. We cooked every meal in the spacious kitchen, and ate them on the upper level screened-in porch looking out across the lake. Everyone gave this place a big thumbs up. We definitely hope to come back!
