Nestled on a hillside above the scenic village of S. Woodstock, Apple Hill is a cozy year-round home with a large deck offering views of the Kedron Valley. The setting features fields and woods, with nearby farms. Take a 10 minute walk down the hill to S. Woodstock, and you'll find- a country store( with penny candy, and deli serving delicious take-out food); Kedron Valley Inn with fine dining and a wonderful beach/pond for swimming; historic church and academy.

An open floor plan on the first floor, allows for a relaxing atmosphere-living room with fireplace, dining room seats 8, den/TV room, generously supplied kitchen, mud room/entryway, powder room, bedroom (queen bed) and full bath. The second floor sleeps 5-6, in three bedrooms -one full, two queen-full bath on second floor. House includes washer/dryer.

The property was beautiful, perfectly clean, and incredibly comfortable. We particularly loved the apple trees - our kids had fun picking apples! We would absolutely rent again and can’t recommend highly enough.

Property was amazing for our girls trip. Incredibly cute and quaint home where we could relax throughout the weekend. The property manager, Gosia, was very communicative and attentive. We had a small issue with the window AC unit letting in some unwelcome insects and Gosia responded immediately and came over to resolve the issue. Wonderful house and I hope to return again some day!

The house was well equipped and comfortable. The shared spaces were warm and useful. The house was well appointed. The outdoor spaces were lovely and peaceful. Beds were comfortable. The upstairs bathroom had a nice big bathtub. The house was older, so some things were inconvenient - the entries to the house, the basement laundry, the doors that don't close. The owners post about a lot of 'rules' and we felt rushed out on the final day.

Our extended family of 6 was wowed by the property: the grounds, the house itself, the comfortable beds, the well-supplied kitchen, the cool art throughout the home. It was a wonderful 3 days and nights and we’d not hesitate to book again in the future.

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful and very comfortable home! The host and property manager were both very welcoming and helpful. It’s a lovely home and great location. We can’t wait to go back :)

Great place to stay for access to Killington and Woodstock! The kids had a great time sledding in the backyard.

We’ve stayed at lots of places in the area over the years but we stay here whenever we can. It’s such a clean, peaceful, and welcoming place. So easy to relax and be comfortable but close to Woodstock and South Woodstock.

Great location and accommodations

This was a great house! Very clean and spacious for a family of 5. The host and property manager were very attentive. I’d highly recommend staying here and it’s only a 5-10 minute drive to downtown Woodstock.
