Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom log home with a metal roof. Covered front porch with lots of privacy. Home remodeled in 2013/2017 including all new bathrooms (stone), replacement of all appliances (Viking and LG), installation of central air. Water/Dryer and Dishwasher. Master bedroom has vaulted ceiling and bathroom. Very cozy cabin close to town yet it feels like your far away. 1.7 acres of stunning property.

The second structure to the right of the main house described above is a guest house that is not for rent.

We loved the quiet neighborhood where this home is located. It's truly a beautiful piece of property. The proximity to town is great...just a few minutes to downtown. The home met all of our needs and the pups enjoyed it too! Keith worked with us on dates and we appreciated his understanding and willingness to be flexible when we requested to shift a little (due to a brief illness).The home is cozy and accommodated our family of 3 along with pets. The beds are comfy and the kitchen well stocked! We had a great stay!

Terrific Cabin!

We loved this cabin and the location can’t be beat. Right around the corner from Highlands and surrounded by great hiking and waterfalls.

Great property very convenient to highlands

We had a great stay, this house is a very short drive to town. Clean property with nice beds and baths. Owner was right next door and very welcoming and helpful.

Temporary home in the mountains

Excellent property and host located just up the road from downtown Highlands. Cozy cabin, quiet location but still so close to civilization. Loved the woods, local wildlife, chefs stove in the kitchen and grills outback. Comfy couches too! Would bring my family to stay here again!

“Home” for the holiday

We loved our time here-perfect kitchen for cooking together and loads of firewood ready for cozy evenings. We did not want to leave!

Great cabin close to Main Street

House was clean and fully stocked with everything we could ever need. A gift bottle of wine was an unexpected surprise, especially after the 6-hour drive to get there. The location was perfect for all of our wedding events, the daytime hikes to waterfalls, and trips into town. I highly recommend staying in this cozy cabin!

Great stay at this property. Everything was perfect. Clean, comfortable and well appointed on a large property 5 minutes from town. Really enjoyed the grills and fireplace. Kitchen has all you need including Viking range. Perfect fall weather and color when we ere there. Also some neat art and Grateful Dead memorabilia. Kieth is a very responsive host if there are any questions.

A few caveats…

Loved the location. The upstairs bed wasn’t super comfortable and the house had a bit of a smell to it. Other than those two things it was great!

My first four star, complaint about a bed and odor. I checked the house after the cleaning crew, did not notice any smell beyond cleanliness.

Cozy and warm!

Our family loved this home for the holidays! Beautiful area for a family to relax during Christmas! The fireplace was definitely a wonderful bonus with plenty of wood under the porch!

I absolutely love this area for its natural beauty and weather. Beautiful 1.7 acres that is secluded and yet close to main street. 1.7 miles from Old Edwards Inn!

The raised front porch has a view of the forest (very lush). The doors, paneling and exposed rafters were built from wood on the property. Open kitchen and living room with loft above. Very cozy and unique cabin. Viking Range/Microwave, LG Stacked Washer and Dryer, Bosch Dishwasher and Green Egg. All Clad pots and pans.
