Large, beautiful, private

A wonderful place for a private get-away with friends. Great outdoor space, lots of room inside, plenty of beds, and an amazing kitchen.

Beautiful outdoor spaces

The house was clean and comfortable and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the beautiful outdoor spaces and the serenity of the sitting areas outside the house.

Really nice place!

Probably the best house for the money I have rented. The large open living area with an impressive staircase was amazing. The setting is also really nice, very quiet spot in the woods, very private and beautiful. We will be back!

Great family get away

Wonderful property for our family. The communication with the owner, Pam, was very clear and prompt. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and more for our stay!! The bedding was so comfy and plenty of seating for our gatherings with the family. We can’t wait to return and would recommend to other family & friends.

Quick 2 night stay to relax in St. Francisville

We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Our daughters, age 12 and 17, loved the beds in the upstairs and main floor level. It was quiet and comfortable. It was hot outside, while nice and cool inside.

My favorite cabins

We absolutely love booking both The Melody House and the Harmony House for our annual family meetings. They are the perfect place to both be together and still have enough space for everyone to not be on top of each other. We have been there before and we will be back again!

The host was extremely helpful and available for any questions concerning the property. We loved the quietness of the house and neighborhood We enjoyed visiting the plantation homes, restaurants and local shops in St Francisville

Disappointed weekend stay

Harmony House was not as depicted as on the website.Unkempt grounds, outdoor benches and outdoor furniture in poor condition and unsafe, unpleasant odor upon entering house, thorough cleaning needed(lots of dust, spider webs, mold on ceiling and in bathrooms)dirty, old bed linens. We booked a 2 night stay and left one day early. The place would be really nice if cleaned up, fixed up/updated, and maintained. The kitchen is well appointed and the toilets were clean.

Wedding Weekend

Beautiful house located on gorgeous property. Well furnished and very private. Would definitely stay again. Love the screened porch and double fireplace. Host was very accomodating.

Wedding trip

The property was secluded and made it nice to spend time with family. There is only one shower in the house so showers took time for 6 people. The other bathroom had only a tub. The kids really enjoyed the stay.

Quiet and secluded

The house was just what we were looking for. It was so quiet and secluded, and had so much character. We definitely want to go back when it gets cooler so we can take advantage of sitting outside by the fire.

Peaceful and quiet

We have stayed here before and love the location and huge screened porch. Some of the outdoor areas need refresh, like picnic tables and fire pit, and the porch could use a cleaning. Inside of the house still clean and good. Could use some saucepans in the kitchen, mostly baking pans and large stock pots are there. Most people probably don’t do much cooking, and likely not missed by others. Overall it is a great place.

Annual Girls Spooky Weekend

This house was one of my favorite stays! The house is a true hidden gem and perfect for a laid back getaway close to everything! The host, Pam was quick with reply’s and was true to her word on the advertisement for this home. It was clean, comfortable and just perfect! Lots of memories were made there!
