One story, quaint country home with enclosed sun porch, kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Close to Lake Superior, Superior Hiking Trail, North Shore snowmobile trail and the City of Two Harbors.

There is a futon in the living room that can be used as a second bed.

Go for a walk on a beautiful country road or sit and enjoy the tranquility of the woods as you sit by your campfire!

Wild Grape Cottage was a beautiful place to stay, along with being peaceful and cozy. The hosts were very attentive to everything affecting my stay and communicated very well.

Small but adorable, all of the comforts of home but only a few minutes drive to Lake Superior. My teenage daughter and I were here in August, and had a great experience from start to finish. We spent much of our trip hiking and skipping rocks, but were so glad to have a comfortable place to watch the sun rise while sipping coffee, to rest by a warm campfire, and to lay our heads each evening. The bathroom is pretty small and there is not a sink in there, but was clean and quaint and adequately served its purpose (and the kitchen sink and bathtub worked fine for handwashing and toothbrushing). Lots of nice little touches (tons of DVDs to choose from, fully furnished kitchen, great pictures on the walls, etc.), and hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. Thank you!!

Very clean cottage. Disadvantage was that it was down approximately 2 miles of gravel road and no cell service until you connect to WIFI. We planned to E-bike which this location wasn’t near the trails. However if you like quiet this place was very much that.

Old fashion feel in a tiny backwoods cabin with all amenities including a/c. super finicky shower, yet usable. Over powering use of air fresheners did make us wonder what they were trying to cover up! Compared to some houses we've rented on the Big Lake, at twice the price this was a good deal for us.

The home was fairly clean and generally comfortable for our stay. However, there was a noticeable mold and mildew odor, strongest in the bathroom. The bathroom and kitchen windows did not open, which made it difficult to get fresh air circulating. I contacted the host after our stay to let them know about these issues. I also noticed multiple air fresheners placed throughout the house, along with a large supply stored in a cabinet, which made me think the odor may be an ongoing concern. Overall, the stay was fine, but addressing the ventilation and mildew smell would make the experience much better for future guests.

Great Little Place

This was a lovely little secluded place out in the country. I would definitely recommend this as a launching spot for any North Shore adventures for a small party.

Wild Grapes suited our needs for a short trip to Two Harbors quite well. I felt like we were staying in someone’s well-loved family farmhouse. Cozy and comfortable, with adequate kitchen and bathroom space. And the owners were super-responsive and helpful.

Great little cabin near the North Shore

We had a great experience during our stay at the cabin, communication was excellent with the owners, it was quiet and peaceful in and around the cabin during our stay, we will be back.

Nice little cabin in the woods

Calm and quiet location. Owner was very responsive and helpful with our requests. Very clean and cozy place in a nice secluded location. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to stay away for a vacation far from the city rush.

Cute little getaway!

Hosts were really clear with instructions on how to work everything, and really was a pretty spacious place for 2 people! We found it quite amazing that we are 15 mins away from Two Harbors and 30 mins away from Downtown Duluth. If you are looking for an amazing home base to come to and just disconnect for the night this is the perfect spot!

Very private and quiet. Host helpful with check in when we were unable to access info outside of mobile territory. My first experience with VRBO so I was a little unprepared for lack of access until we got in. I would gladly return.

Cozy and clean

The hosts were wonderful at communication to welcome us. Seamless entrance and stay. The kitchen and cottage were well stocked with everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Exactly as advertised. Cute, simple little cabin. My dad and I came to run Grandma's Marathon and lodging was hard to find. This was reasonably priced, close distance to Two Harbors, and we both slept great in the sleeping spaces provided. I would stay again just to enjoy the peace and scenery.
