Upscale home with every upgrade. Very private and secluded. Lots of space for recreational activities biking, hiking, frisbee golf, fishing you name it. We have WIFI. We do have a Direct TV and above our fire place dvds to watch.

The Hangar House is custom-built for comfort and relaxation. Visit us to escape from everyday life and dive into Ohio’s most scenic region. Home offers enough space for groups of 8+ guests to stretch out and enjoy the views. Just minutes away from several Hocking Hills State Parks, as well as great dining and shopping options. Very Nice!

Very nice cabin and clean. More space than anticipated and the drive to the cabin was good compared to other cabins I’ve been to.

The home and property were absolutely beautiful! The host maintained communication throughout the booking process and responded swiftly. I travel a lot for work and vacation, and this was by far my favorite stay. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Thanksgiving at The Hanger, Hocking Hills 2022

Property was beautiful! Kyle promptly answered many calls from me prior to getting there, and questions after we got there and was very nice. Kroger and Walmart only 10 minutes away, although we preferred Grandma Faye’s Grocery (local), and found everything we needed! Close to a lot of hiking and sightseeing. The only thing I would suggest, because we were told, kitchen pots and pans, cooking, etc. was fully stocked, and maybe because we were cooking Thanksgiving dinner there, we did have to go buy more. So I would say they need to upgrade their cooking items. But hey, we just rolled with it! Would definitely go there again, and recommend it to our friends! It was a great Thanksgiving getaway!!

Beautiful Night Sky

We were treated with an early morning ski of shooting stars (6). The stars were like diamonds. The house was glorious. Windows opening to all the nature.

Girls Weekend

We stayed here over the same weekend last summer as well and couldn’t wait to come back. House is very nice, extremely clean and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Secluded with a short drive to great hiking.

We had so much fun! We’ve decided we’re going to do this trip annually. The neighbors dog showed up to play with us for a little bit and it made our Saturday night!

Bachelorette weekend

We had a great time and the property was beautiful! Hot tub wasn’t working but we got a partial refund so that was nice! Everything else was so great!

Can’t wait to stay again!

We had so much fun having a tiny bachelorette party weekend here. The house is so unique and facing the sunrise. We enjoyed the hot tub each night and the amazing views of our private wooded setting. We can’t wait to stay again for another weekend getaway!

Great property, invasive owner.

The good; the property was GORGEOUS, with tons of space and well kept and very new. The cabin was amazing, and the areas around it were incredible. Even more so, the grounds outside the cabin were incredibly private as well as fun, including an empty amphitheater with set up lights to set up guests at and a small lake within it (only downside to the property being there is no WiFi and it’s in the middle of the woods). The bad; the owner was VERY invasive in our stay. He came onto the property on 2 separate occasions on his 4 wheeler unprompted and without announcement. While his demeanor was not rude however, when you order a secluded cabin stay, coming onto your renters property without reason certainly MULTIPLE times is. The most invasive part however, was that several members of his family and friends ALSO showed up to the property (in 3 separate trucks leaving tracks on the property we rented) to swim in the lake on the property while we were there as well.

Ben was a good guest. During their stay the owner noticed a large slip and slide that would have killed the grass if left over the weekend located on our wedding venue side of the property. The owner felt that needed addressed. The empty amphitheater facility is apart of our wedding venue and not the weekend rental. Which is why there is no mention of it in our marketing. That being said it and its restroom facility was used during this guests stay. Another issue our owner believed needed addressed. We always want our guests to have the best time possible, but the property is more that a weekend rental. The use of faclities not advertised will always be addressed.
