The Property
Charming and newly updated second floor apartment, less than a 5 minute walk to downtown. Enjoy our incredible restaurants, shopping and more. Large living room with bay window, ample seating and flat screen TV, nicely equipped kitchen, large dining area for 6, and newly remolded bathroom.
Private entrance and laundry room included. Relax on the front porch, grill in private side yard reserved for our guests, enjoy the outdoor shower after your day at the beach.
This second floor apartment in our historic home has been updated while
maintaining the original wide pine floors and historic details. Windows are plentiful providing a bright and cheerful feel.

Location
The sparkling village of Greenport is a 5 minute walk away.
Restaurants and Shopping are steps away....
Greenport offers dining experiences from casual to upscale. You can enjoy fresh seafood, wood-fired pizza, delicious Latin American, new American, pub-style, sushi, mediterranean and more within walking distance. There are also tasting rooms for beer, wine and tea, as well as coffee shops and restaurants specializing in breakfast and lunch. Stop in at the galleries, boutiques and antique stores as you stroll to and from your dining destination
And be sure to make time for....

Enjoy Greenport's seaport by taking in the picturesque sites along the docks or in the historic neighborhoods. Be sure to visit the Seaport Museum, the Railroad Museum, vintage Greenport Movie Theater, the antique carousel, the fire fighter boat, and our beautiful century old public library.
If you'd like to explore beyond the village, you are also within walking distance to the ferry to Shelter Island (a beautiful10 minute cruise), the Long Island Railroad which allows you to take make a day trip to New York City or the Hampton Jitney also enables jaunts to the city or airports.

Greenport Getsway

My husband, brother and I came to Greenport for the first time. We were looking for a low key vacation as opposed to the usual highly active adventures we take. It was perfect.Eileen and Jim thought of everything right down to the pre-stamped postcard!Highly recommend!

We spent 2 wonderful days at this beautiful property; perfect location, spacious, wonderfully furnished and immaculate. Although I regret I didn’t have a chance to meet her, the property owner Eileen was extremely responsive and helpful answering questions about the area. I highly recommend Eileen’s property without reservation. It is an ideal place to stay while exploring a beautiful part of LI.

The Best Location

We enjoyed our week steps from the town of Greenport in this beautifully maintained apartment escape. Everything was fresh, updated and clean, and the attention to the smallest details added to our enjoyment. Most mornings, we walked in to town to have a coffee on the front and watch the ferry boats come and go. We cooked a few times in the well equipped kitchen, but found it so convenient to lots of dining out options, that most days we didn't bother to cook in. We were a short drive from beautiful beaches and vineyard vistas.Thank you Eileen for your attention to detail in the spacious apartment. It was so appreciated.

Fantastic

The apartment is the perfect size for the amount of people allowed. It is very clean and very well taken care of. The owner provides you with everything you could need (including a couple gifts/snacks thrown into the mix!). Overall a 5 star stay.

Long Weekend

Our stay with Eileen was awesome! She was very attentive and responsive. The apartment was spacious and well taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked and some treats were left by Eileen. The location was also awesome! Just a few blocks from downtown and we took advantage of this a few times during our visit. Beach towels, a beach blanket, and beach chairs were also available and used. We will definetly look into staying here again on future visits.

Lovely Greenport Retreat

Eileen’s apartment is absolutely lovely. It is so well equipped, everything at your fingertips, and extremely comfortable to sit back and relax. It’s also on a beautiful street and such easy walking distance to the village. There are also multiple work set ups which was great for our use. We stay out east multiple weekends a year and have chosen to stay here multiple times !

Cozy home away from home

This was our second stay at this lovely home in Greenport, and we loved it even more the second time. The home is well appointed and comfortable, and the location is perfect for both quiet and easy exploration of town and the nearby beaches. We highly recommend staying here (we certainly hope to again!)

Perfect North Fork Getaway

We had a terrific stay this past weekend. The location of the house is great, on a beautiful block that is a short walk to shops and restaurants and water. The apartment was spacious and spotless, had everything we needed. Loved it. Felt light and bright and it was just a perfect lil getaway. We do enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch, so peaceful. Thank you Eileen! You are a wonderful host and the pride you take in your home shows! Can’t wait to stay again.

Best Hosts Ever

This spacious second floor rental was a perfect location for walking to downtown and a central starting point for exploring the North Fork. Having been our first visit to the North Fork, we felt lucky that we picked Greenport and the accommodations we chose. I was the liveliest of the area villages (making it a good home base) and we had the best, most attentive hosts we could hope for. The space was fresh and clean; the hosts provided special touches (wine, snacks, a folder that included information on all things to do in the area, kind notices, etc.), offered to supply whatever else we might need and to quickly take care of any incidents that may occur. We would definitely request to re-book the same address on future visits.

Greetings from Greenport! My husband and I grew up in Greenport. Though we have lived in other states for many years, we visited every summer and dreamed of having a summer house here. Dreams do come true! We purchased our Greenport home several years ago and rented it as we continued to enjoy living in Colorado. When our son moved to Long Island and we became grandparents and it then became possible to work from anywhere, we decided it was time to come back home. We love being closer to family and reconnecting with old friends. Like the wines now grown here, Greenport has become even better with age. We love the beaches, the people, the history and being 'back east' again. Once a Porter always a Porter!

When we looked for a place to live in Greenport, being close to town was key. We love so many choices for walks from our front door. We can stroll to town for coffee or dinner, get a great work out walking the mile to 67 steps, or walk our grandchild to a quiet bay beach to collect jingle shells.

Our home needed renovation and we were blessed to find a great team to work with to get the job done. Adding all new insulation, windows, siding and a great front porch increased the beauty and comfort of the home. All the updates have created a safe and cozy living situation in our favorite town.
