Great location - doesn’t make up for the downside

The location is really good for skiers- ski in / ski out on a green run, if you have a toddler you will need a car to get to the bunny hill but otherwise really good. The amenities for skiers / snowboarders are also great - ski locker, boot and mitt dryers and lots of room to hang outerwear in the entry. Right on the run so it was fun to watch the skiers, boarders and groomers on the mountain.Beds are good, lots of sleeping space and very comfortable. The downside…Unit is showing its age and feels tired, furniture is is mismatched, worn or wearing out and all is showing its age. Unit is small, sleeps 8 but with 6 adults and a 2 year old it is cramped, small unit so understandable but good to be aware if you are planning a family trip. Unit is not well outfitted for a family, we like to do meals at home and the lack of serving dishes, working can openers and basic kitchen items was disappointing. Kitchen needs to be re-outfitted.The biggest downside….The unit was dirty, really dirty. We found several items from prior guests in drawers and under the edge of the sofa / ottoman. The floor had been given a cursory sweep, the carpet had not been vacuumed at all. Lots of dirt under the cabinet edges, fireplace hearth, etc. At one point we lifted a sofa cushion to look for a toy the 2 year old had lost and were shocked at how much dirt / food / etc was under the sofa cushions. Random pills on the floor in one

Great place for kids

We enjoyed the ski in ski out of this place on the hill. The location is excellent. A beautiful condo that has everything a family needs for a week away.

Once again, Big White did not disappoint! The condo was a perfect ski-in ski-out location and the hot tub was perfection after a long day. The beds were super comfortable The amenities were all taken care of The underground parking was easy to navigate and close to the elevator The views from the living room were super fun

Dreams at Aspen Big White

Amazing property perfect for 2 families. Would stay here again without question. Ski lockers were right beside the run just steps to Telsus Park. Condo was fully stocked with all dishes and linens. this place made lasting memories for our families.

Awesome weekend

Had a annual guys weekend of skiing and and great times. This unit is at the top of the village and has a front row seat to the ski hill. Easy access to everything. We’ll stocked with all cooking necessities and sleeping arrangements. Could easily sleep 4 couples. We’ll come back to this unit again.

Great place!

Great Spot

Perfect true ski in ski out experience. We were working remotely and the kids were remote learning when we weren’t on the mountain. Wifi never bogged down and a beautiful condo for our family of 5. Could have easily had another small family with us. Would rent again. Great value.

Slope side Condo....Literally!

If you are looking for a ski in / ski out condo at Big White, this is the place. The condo is on the 4th floor (don't worry, they have an elevator) and has 3 bedrooms. The Master suite is fantastic, equipped with a king bed, gas fireplace and the ensuite has a large stand-up steam shower and heated floors. There are two decks to this condo, the rear deck is the one with the hot tub and has dual access from the master suite and the 2nd bedroom. The front deck is a bit smaller and faces the mountain. The second bedroom had a queen size bed and also featured access to the main bathroom through its own room (which also had heated floors). The third bedroom seemed to be more of a larger office but featured 2 separate bunk beds (sleeping 4 total). There were no windows in this room, but the kids had zero issues staying there. The kitchen is very well-equipped, in fact was likely the most well-equipped VRBO kitchen we have been in so far. Although we brought some items from home just in case, we didn't really need to use most of them (hey, you never know!). The kitchen is large and has a big island. It also has a wine fridge. There was no Keurig machine, so glad we brought our little portable one cup machine (not a bid deal at all). The living room is very comfortable, and the couches were arranged perfectly. There is also a hide-a-bed that we did not use. Lots of board games and other pass times in case anyone in your group does not ski (does such a person exist?!?). The condo also had Sonos speakers in every room. The condo has 2 reserved parking spots in the underground garage. This is the tallest access and ceiling height of any underground garage I have seen. I have a full size SUV (Expedition) and along with the Thule ski box fit no problem through the garage door. Inside the garage, there was a spot reserved to hose down your vehicle, which after driving 10 hours through the mountain passes was welcomed. Overall, this condo is a GEM and would 100% recommend staying there. We had 2 POW days and 1 day of very cold temps (-20C), but had amazing skiing. If I wanted to nitpick a bit, the hot tub controls had previously broken and had fallen through the hot tub cavity. We had to fish it out and fix it to the hole where it was originally. Also, the lower dishwasher rack was missing 2 wheels, so this made the rack not close very smoothly and fall into the tub if you weren't careful. Overall, though, not really a bid deal at all in the scheme of things.

Great stay at the Aspens

Our group had a great stay at the Aspens 3404. This property was spacious and very well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. Hot tub is lovely after a day of skiing with a great view of the mountains. The kids enjoyed the game boards that were in the condo. Many chess matches were held! The Aspens in located in the Upper Village, which is a short walk down to the main village. The way back is all uphill and a bit of a walk but if you don't need to go to the village or the weather is nice, this isn't an issue at all. They do typically have a shuttle, but we stayed during COVID. We have stayed at many properties on the hill and the ski in/ski out was excellent, the Easy street run is right out the exit door to the building, across the run from the Telus Park chair lift. There are ski racks to keep the skis outside during the day. One drawback was that we didn't have access to a ski locker, so we brought our skis in each night and locked them up in our vehicle in the parkade. The keyless entry was great, allowing our teenage kids to come and go during the day as they wanted. Vacasa even called to make sure everything was okay one time when the code was entered incorrectly a few times. They were also very accommodating when a member of our group left an item in the condo and offered to drive it to their laundry facility in Rutland for pick up. We would definitely recommend this condo and renting with Vacasa.

What a view!

Beautiful condo, located right on the ski hill. View of skiers/boarders on one side and a view of the valley from the other. Condo had everything a person could need and was very clean. Would definitely stay here again!
