Accessed without any steep mountain roads, this lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin is conveniently located just off the parkway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It's ideal location allows guests to come and go, dine-in, or eat out. You don't have to plan too far in advance when town is this accessible! A small year round stream with fish you can feed, cascades past the front of the cabin where it can be enjoyed from two full length porches. Inside two levels of luxury living include a King bedroom, and a second lofted bedroom with 2 custom Queen log beds. Upstairs a huge heart shaped tub for two is perfect for some romance. Outside you can relax to the sound of the stream while soaking in the hot tub. An pool table and multi-arcade game are fun for all ages. This year, why not take your vacation to the max? We had an amazing time at this cabin! Location was perfect, right in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg tucked away in the mountains. Cabin was a little bit smaller than what we expected from the pictures, but it was perfect and very clean nonetheless. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy the Smokey mountains!

Great property with lots of space. The area was full of other families and groups but it did not feel crowded at all. There were lots of games to play when we spent time at the property. The manager is very responsive and helpful.

A very well stocked kitchen with all we needed to enhance cooking for our family thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. The tree was so pretty and decorations festive. They truly enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and arcade game. We even enjoyed your UNO card game together. We would love to return sometime in the future.

Owner was gracious and helped my family out when there was a power issue. Cabin was clean & checkout process was amazing!

The location is great—just a short drive to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The area is extremely quiet, and the heat worked very well during our stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean overall.The online photos do differ somewhat from what is actually in the house. There is a sectional upstairs near the bedrooms that is separated into pieces and takes up a lot of space; removing it would make the area feel more open. Additionally, there are several animal mounts in the cabin that are not shown in the photos, but they did not detract from our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would stay again when in the area.

Clean & full of amenities!

Hands down, great place! House was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Stayed with 2 dogs & plenty of space for them to go on walks. Had our 1 year old with us as well & we’ve never stayed at a place so equipped for children! Baby gates & toys were a great surprise! Host was quick with communication as well.

Disappointed

We’ve stayed in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area many times before, both in hotels and cabins, and this was by far our most unpleasant experience. Like other reviews mentioned, there were taxidermied animals all over the cabin. The overall floor plan was very nice, but the furniture was very big compared to the rooms, making it appear cramped. There were also a lot of air fresheners both in and out of sight. We stayed in the cabin for a short time before we left to go to dinner, and when we came back there were millipedes on the first floor. There were probably 10-15 spread out through the downstairs bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Not to mention the one we found in the upstairs bathroom before we had left for dinner. We immediately notified the host, and she had asked if we had left any doors open, when we had only been there for a short amount of time, and we only opened the door for less than a minute to look at the deck, and then made sure it was closed and locked. After we told her about the bugs, she responded and said a cleaning service would be over in the morning. But despite that we left and stayed in a hotel for the rest of the trip. We requested a refund, as we were in the house for about two and a half hours in total, but we haven’t heard back. Based on the positive reviews I had very high expectations, but they weren’t met.

Dear Lorrie In the one picture you send me it’s look like “ Butterfly Caterpillar “ Summer it’s them reproduction season. Caterpillar is not leaving inside of the Cabin, they are outside bugs living on the trees, making butterfly in the future. In order for them to be inside of the Cabin, if you open the doors, or windows, has a seals around the doors and windows, You stay long enough at the Cabin when you arrived , if the Cabin was with bugs inside I am shore you will see that in 2 hours you was there. Cabin is in between 2 mountains We have almost everything live bug that TN has and animals to. I can not Forest stop to produce the bugs, that why people go to TN to enjoy the Forest and all type of creatures. I offer you to send my cleaning people to clean up again. But you all ready find other Cabin to relocate your self. You left at 10:30 pm, so you do stay 5 hours at my Cabin. It’s hight season to find other Cabin that fast not possible. When you arrive you should say to me , you don’t like the Cabin, at the door with out inter the Cabin I will be more then welcome to return full amount. My cleaning people come and make full Cabin video , they find 2-3 Caterpillars but not more. Sorry you do not like my Cabin , we have good reviews, I have other people before you stay 1 week no complain . My cleaning people has 4.9 cleaning. Me as a host I am 24 hours for you to enjoy.

August 2022 Stay

Location was great, room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Televisions would not get signal, unable to watch anything without buffering. Overall it was good stay, stream out front was very peaceful. Communicating with owner was very easy, she is quick to respond.

We loved the cabin, the amenities and the location, had a very relaxing weekend!!

The cabin is in great condition, as advertised, my husband and a couple friends had a great relaxing experience. It is easy to find, in the middle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and all the fantastic trails of the Smoky mountains. The hot tub and the pool table were very nice for the afternoon, after hiking and excitement. The cabin inside was very clean, the outside had lot of spiderwebs that need to be remove. Overall our experience in the cabin was great and the host Alena was very attentive and communicative. We definitely would like to come back!

Amazing property

The pictures did not do justice to how beautiful and amazing this cabin is. We came to celebrate our twins turning 16, plenty of space for our family of 5 to relax and recharge. The cabin is tucked away from the main road, but so close to everything in Pigeon Forge, I'm talking like 2 miles. Even though we didn't use the kitchen, it was fully stocked if we would have needed anything. We are already planning on staying again when we come back.

Awesome experience

Alena, the owner, was so helpful and communicative from the time of booking through our stay at Smokey Max Cabin. The cabin was just as described, with no surprises. My family of 4 enjoyed our stay there very much! There were no steep inclines to get to the cabin either. It’s basically one mile-ish south of the end of the Pigeon Forge strip. Great location and tbe creek in front was adorable too. We loved it!

Good but not great

The upstairs was beautiful. Our kids were thrilled with the pool table, video games, hot tub and openness. The bottom floor was filled with taxidermy animals, fake plants and furniture that was way too large for the area. The porches and views were nice. The house lacked personal touches - it felt like a rental. Both bathrooms had a pin removed so that the doors would not lock, which we thought was weird and made my kids uncomfortable. There is a colored glass panel that allows people inside to see into the upstairs bathroom, which also weirded out my children. . I would not rent this property again.

Mm. its a Cabin, not a House. Its stage just for rent Only. The pin for the doors we remove, because the kids every time lock them self in side. About the Glass panel window. When we purchase the Cabin, where was any window at all, that was " weird" , no body complain about it. People start to complain, when we put it window. The reason it’s has a window in side where is the jacuzzi tub , to create architecture natural light. Most off the Cabins around this aria design like that. Mm. this window in the back has a black curtains to close, did you see it??? And after you burn my brand new kitchen pot and damage my blinds , and i do not charge anything to you, you give to me bad review???

Nice Stay

The cabin was really nice. The only negative was that the oven did not work. We planned to eat in a lot, because we are healthy eaters. We had to order out instead. It cost us more money and the food was not as good. The owner did not know the oven was broke. But, it was still an inconvenience that we did not plan for. Otherwise, the cabin was in a great location and the stay was really nice!

Comfortable stay

Overall a good stay…hot tub was clean and ready to go. Location was ideal for both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Cellular signal was very low but wifi was decent. If the fireplace was real that would have been perfect, but better safe than sorry as an owner.

Great cabin! Great location!

My family and I had a great stay! The cabin is super cozy! The location is great! It is far out enough to experience the quiet of the area, yet still close by to all attractions. The cabin also had everything we could possibly need. We really enjoyed staying here!

Great Vacation Cabin

This was a great cabin. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal. It was just a 15-20 minute drive to everything we did. We enjoyed the pool table & arcade games. Thanks for having us!

We create this place that the families spend more time together. The Cabin will fit 6people comfortable. and the round drive way can fit more than 2 cars. Cabin has everything for the people to stay long period, full kitchen, blankets, towels. Very close to grocery 5 min drive to Food Lion, Gas station.
