READ BEFORE BOOKING: I will charge a $250 fee for smoking or vaping in the unit or sneaking in pets. This is a smoke and pet free unit. There are no coverings on the double door windows, but on all the rest of the windows coverings are provided.

Come stay in a slice of Tahoe paradise. Beautifully remodeled guest bedroom sitting high atop the banks of the Upper Truckee River. Private bedroom and bath detached from main house tucked back in the woods with a million dollar view! If you are looking for quite and seclusion, this is the perfect place. Situated in a very quiet area outside the hustle of South Lake, the perfect romantic getaway!

Situated in Meyers just outside South Lake with fishing in the back yard, instant access to world class mountain biking and hiking trails and equal distance to three world class skiing/snowboarding mountains: Kirkwood, Heavenly and Sierra. With a quick drive to Hope Valley or the beaches of Lake Tahoe, this place is all about it's location!

Our stay at South Lake Tahoe Riverfront property

This location was a great base for our day hikes in the Desolation Wilderness area. It is a lovely setting that looked out on the Upper Truckee River. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, responsive host. Just be aware that it’s one room that feels a bit cramped for space.

Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at Aarons Cottage. It was quiet, clean, and the view was amazing. It was located in a great area that wasn't too far from the grocery store and sledding activities.

Cozy/Peaceful Getaway to the Woods

We loved our stay! The room is stunning, warm, modern and has lovely views of the creek. The host was friendly and helpful confirming all the tech and fireplace/amenities were up and running, walking us through each so we felt welcomed and informed on how to use all of the features of this very special property. Highly recommend! So peaceful and beautiful!

An amazing little hideaway to get away from it all, but be close enough to get supplies. Window dressings would be an amazing addition for privacy to the more modest visitors. Great place Aaron!

Couples retreat

This spot was beautiful! You literally walk right out to the lovely sound of birds and flowing water. The host was very helpful and sweet. Wild life all around you and smell of pine. Definitely a spot for a couple.

Amazing stay

Images just don't do justice. This is a gem. If you want privacy in a picturesque setting, this is the place. Close enough to everything you'd wanna do and yet with the feeling of total seclusion. The host family are charming and very helpful we will be back.

Beautiful studio with amazing surroundings!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed, cozy and charming studio with an amazing view of the Upper Truckee River! The friendly host welcomed us and provided a helpful tour of the studio. Loved the gorgeous stone floors throughout, contemporary mountain home aesthetic and the convenience of the mini fridge! The heating unit was a tad bit tricky to operate but the host was very responsive and helped us figure it out! We had a great getaway and only wish we had time to stay longer!

Can't wait to come back

Absolutely fell in love with Tahoe after my recent visit, and this property was a perfect home base to have explored from. Cozy, cute, and comfortable, I have no complaints. Wonderful view of the stream from double doors. easy access to hot tub, and excellent location just a bit outside the hustle and bustle of S Lake Tahoe's center for max ambience and quiet. Also cannot say enough nice things about Aaron, my host--top notch area recommendations, advice, and communication. Will be back!!

Small space but modern vibe

We enjoyed the location a lot but felt a little tight in that room. Don’t recommend for large people. Modern cabin design with no blinds for glass doors. But they faced the creek so fairly private. Never got to use the fireplace…No instructions given.

Incredible views

Aaron is probably one of the most down to earth hosts that I’ve come across. His cabin has the most amazing view of a little creek as soon as you open two double glass doors. It was breathtaking waking up to Mother Nature like that, every morning. He had everything we needed and more - prepared over the top! There aren’t any specific words I can say to describe our stay and the view. You just have to go see it for yourself! Thank you, Aaron! We look forward to coming back soon!
