READ BEFORE BOOKING: I will charge a $250 fee for smoking or vaping in the unit or sneaking in pets. This is a smoke and pet free unit. There are no coverings on the double door windows, but on all the rest of the windows coverings are provided.

Come stay in a slice of Tahoe paradise. Beautifully remodeled guest bedroom sitting high atop the banks of the Upper Truckee River. Private bedroom and bath detached from main house tucked back in the woods with a million dollar view! If you are looking for quite and seclusion, this is the perfect place. Situated in a very quiet area outside the hustle of South Lake, the perfect romantic getaway!

Situated in Meyers just outside South Lake with fishing in the back yard, instant access to world class mountain biking and hiking trails and equal distance to three world class skiing/snowboarding mountains: Kirkwood, Heavenly and Sierra. With a quick drive to Hope Valley or the beaches of Lake Tahoe, this place is all about it's location!

Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at Aarons Cottage. It was quiet, clean, and the view was amazing. It was located in a great area that wasn't too far from the grocery store and sledding activities.

Cozy/Peaceful Getaway to the Woods

We loved our stay! The room is stunning, warm, modern and has lovely views of the creek. The host was friendly and helpful confirming all the tech and fireplace/amenities were up and running, walking us through each so we felt welcomed and informed on how to use all of the features of this very special property. Highly recommend! So peaceful and beautiful!

Amazing Stay

This place beautiful and so peaceful. We were greeted u0on arrival and recueved a tour of property. The cottage was clean and have coffee and snacks available. Loved the hot tub at night. It was peaceful. We highly reccomd.

Small space but modern vibe

We enjoyed the location a lot but felt a little tight in that room. Don’t recommend for large people. Modern cabin design with no blinds for glass doors. But they faced the creek so fairly private. Never got to use the fireplace…No instructions given.

Beautiful studio with amazing surroundings!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed, cozy and charming studio with an amazing view of the Upper Truckee River! The friendly host welcomed us and provided a helpful tour of the studio. Loved the gorgeous stone floors throughout, contemporary mountain home aesthetic and the convenience of the mini fridge! The heating unit was a tad bit tricky to operate but the host was very responsive and helped us figure it out! We had a great getaway and only wish we had time to stay longer!

Amazing stay

Images just don't do justice. This is a gem. If you want privacy in a picturesque setting, this is the place. Close enough to everything you'd wanna do and yet with the feeling of total seclusion. The host family are charming and very helpful we will be back.

Perfect!

Loved staying at this place! It has a great view and feels remote but isn't too remote. Good wifi and little perks like all of the streaming services on the TV etc. It was just what we needed for the weekend and we really enjoyed it! Would stay again 😊

Can't wait to come back

Absolutely fell in love with Tahoe after my recent visit, and this property was a perfect home base to have explored from. Cozy, cute, and comfortable, I have no complaints. Wonderful view of the stream from double doors. easy access to hot tub, and excellent location just a bit outside the hustle and bustle of S Lake Tahoe's center for max ambience and quiet. Also cannot say enough nice things about Aaron, my host--top notch area recommendations, advice, and communication. Will be back!!

Perfect Little Getaway

The location is great and the housing unit is very comfortable. It has a great view and is very peaceful. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. I hope to stay here again in the near future.

Very beautiful

When me and my boyfriend got there we didn’t realize how close the back house was to the main house made it seem like it was less secluded cause we were looking for seclusion, but once we were inside it was just so quiet and serene we really enjoyed our stay. The flooring of the house is beautiful the creek right outside the window was beautiful as well thank you Aaron for having us :)

Excellent getaway

This is a perfect spot to spend 1-2 days at. It's a private detached studio, has a mini fridge, microwave and kettle/Keurig. The bathroom shower are large and modern and there is a remote controlled operated fireplace that heats up the place no problem. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful Setting!

We would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio seating with a perfect view of the river. The only suggestion we would have is more hooks to keep things off the floor. All in all, a wonderful stay!
