Great location with perfect pool and small beach for little ones to enjoy. Place was stocked with plenty of beach supplies. Morning and evening views were amazing from the lanai. Only downside was the upstairs air conditioner was unable to keep the upstairs bedroom cool in the afternoons.

Aloha Sally, Thank you for the great review! We’re glad you enjoyed the location, pool, and small beach area, especially for the little ones. It’s also wonderful to hear that you had everything you needed with the beach supplies and enjoyed those beautiful morning and evening views from the lanai. We’re sorry the upstairs AC wasn’t able to keep the bedroom cool during the warmer afternoons. We appreciate you pointing that out and will share the feedback with the property team so they can take a closer look at the cooling in that space. Thanks again for staying with us and for sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you back to Kona again! Mahalo, Casago Kona Reservations

What a great property! Perfect location and gorgeous view. Condo is very nice and was very comfortable for two couples and one single adult. Mornings on the back patio are amazing and the evening sunset is beautiful. Highly recommend! There was ample communication; my only comment with that is that there was some conflicting info with the multiple emails regarding code access for the door but all in all it was wonderful experience!

You can't ask for a better view in Kona! My group loved making a couple pots of coffee and enjoying a slow morning on the porch overlooking the water. Plenty of space for our group of 6 adults. Clean, nice amenities, convenient access to the main Ali'i Rd and grocery stores. Would love to stay here again! Another plus was how well the A/C worked in all rooms of the house - we stayed in 3 total properties over our 10 days in Hawaii, and this one was by far the coolest temperature wise :)

This is a beautiful property with ocean-front views and the sound of surf at night.Well appointed kitchen. Basically everything we needed was there. There were plenty of "active holiday" extras like flippers and masks, chairs, repellant and first-aid supplies. Sitting on the lanai watching the sun go down never lost its charm. There are many good snorkeling beaches ranging from walking distance (just next door) to Mauna Lani (about 50 minutes drive). But there were a few niggles, which meant this was a 4-star review.1. With windows open and AC all off, there was a constantly-running roof mounted fan that sometimes kept me awake on quiet ocean periods. I'm guessing it was the extractor for the bathrooms. When the sea was loud, I didn't hear it and it didn't bother me.2. The master bed was a weird fold-up, which meant it was not possible to comfortably sit up in bed because there was no headboard.3. The sliding screen doors were all difficult to use without coming of the rail and jamming. We had the maintenance people out twice without really fixing the root cause.

Aloha Adrian, Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback and for your extended stay at Kona Surf & Racquet 1-305! We’re glad you enjoyed the oceanfront views, the sound of the surf, the well-equipped kitchen, and the beach and snorkeling supplies. Watching the sunset from the lanai truly is one of the best parts of staying in Kona! We also appreciate you bringing the concerns about the roof fan noise, master bed design, and sliding screen doors to our attention. We’re sorry these issues affected your comfort, especially after multiple maintenance visits for the screen doors. We’ll share your feedback with our property team so these concerns can be reviewed and addressed. Thank you again for staying with us and for helping us identify areas where we can improve. We hope to have another opportunity to provide you with an even more comfortable stay in Kona. Mahalo, Casago Kona Reservations

Beautiful Oceanfront Stay

Had a wonderful week stay at this oceanfront property. Easy check-in and check-out with accommodations and furnishings even better than expected. Location is convenient to Kailua-Kona, restaurants, grocery, and local beach park for snorkeling. A lovely property with amenities on site, have stayed at multiple units at Kona Surf and Racquet Club and will most certainly return.

Beautiful view and location. Comfortably houses 6 adults. Close to hotel, small beaches and town. Four vs five star rating due to cooling issues within home for a couple of days. Sliders to lanai need to be locked shut - but sliders hard to lock. Also lanai is too hot to use when cooling inside is on. All and all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
